Any.do - To do list & Calendar reviews

What users love and hate · 500 reviews analyzed · ★ 3.7

A clean task list and calendar app with separate personal and work task tracking plus widgets — built for people who want straightforward organization without the clutter.

What users love

A single widget surfaces both tasks and calendar events on one screen

The widget merges your task list and calendar events — no need to open the app to switch between them; for many users this alone is the reason they stay

great help to organize things, especially the separate way to organize your personal life and work

Very helpful

just started using, not soo bad i think you should allow us to create more than 1 reminders

A reminder banner stays visible on the lock screen after you unlock your phone

The reminder shows at the bottom of the screen on unlock and doesn't get buried in notification noise — something competitors don't do; a task can become a real alert, not a silent ping

Great as a reminder & planner

so far im liking it. Just wish the upgrade didnt cost and hope it doesn't start charging me after 7 days bc I didnt agree to it

Such a lovely UI, and it all feels so intuitive to use. Really great engineering from the devs!

The app auto-converts any number in a task title into a due date

You can append a date and time right at the end of the task name, which speeds up entry noticeably

Awesome app.

I'm using this app for 12-13 years now on a daily basis. I don't know how, but they somehow didn't shittify this tool at all. I use it to track my work related tasks, my home projects and even the errands around my car. You can easily make groups, prioritize and label the tasks and set a deadline or subtasks on them. 100% can recommend it. Clean, bloatless and easy to use. edit: I have a premium v

lots of BS. marketing, emails, etc...

Google Calendar sync works but event colors and behavior come through wrong

Connecting Google Calendar is easy and events sync reliably

Great! I have used it only one day. Great that I can link it to my calendar on Google!

very good, just what I need and nothing more!

I use anydo and have for years. when I was working I could coordinate my crews punch lists and make sure they all knew who was doing what. now that I'm retired I still use it for punch lists around the house as well as a grocery list that my wife and kids can add things to.

Clean, minimal interface with no clutter — especially appreciated by people with ADHD

The uncluttered, minimalist UI helps with focus; many users specifically mention it being helpful for ADHD, and location-based reminders are a bonus

It doesn't have a native Google Calendar integration, only via Zapier, which charges extra.

Very nice (:

Unending Thirst for Money after installing this app on my I pad with premium Subscription I tried to use it on my galaxy note which is used for my clinical work. After having signed in,for Whatsapp integration it started asking me for more money while I had already made the payerment at the start. This means that at every corner on the path towards its usage I would be cornered and bullied and be

'My Day' is great for a morning brain dump, but entries wipe at midnight

The 'My Day' section is praised for quickly capturing whatever's on your mind — a handy morning brain dump

I love it. It's a new job for whatever you want to do for sure. my favorite app

I love it

klo bisa bikin repeat per hari gitu

Sync across phone, tablet, and desktop works smoothly

The same lists on phone, tablet, and browser stay in sync reliably — a frequent reason people stick with the app for years

I use it on 2 devices, and the sync its working wonderful; it has a very intuitive and elegant interface and all the features are made with logic and intuition; I use it daily more then 3-5 times per day; thank you for the app :)

Excellent

I love the app

Shared shopping lists with family are loved, but shared list sync lets people down

A shared shopping list that a spouse and kids can add to replaces a dedicated app for many families

I unsubscribed in 2021. Today the yearly plan cost go deducted from my account. Whats going on????

I use this app to create lists and store information that's really great.

This app confuses me! It's simplified so much basic functions don't work. Missed every alarm so far, including important ones. Yes, I do have notifications on and permissions set. Pressing on because it's supposed to work with my watch. It doesn't so far.

The free version covers most needs and has no ads

The free tier handles the majority of use cases, works offline, and is ad-free — a clear advantage over competitors with heavily crippled free plans

galaxy a16 5g. Reminders cannot be set. I literally cannot set a time, it's stuck 5 minutes from now and there is nothing I can do about it. I can't change the time by moving the analog indicators, by tapping the numbers on the digital clock...it's crazy.

too good application very easy to handle

premium app

Long-term loyalty — users stick around for 10+ years and come back after trying competitors

Dozens of reviews from people who've used it daily for 5–13 years, tried alternatives, and returned: the app 'hasn't been ruined'

What users hate

The widget breaks after updates: wrong month, won't scroll, vanishes from the home screen

The month arrow stops working, the widget flickers when swiping, the 'today' button does nothing, and after an update or reboot the widget disappears from the screen entirely

Extremely productive

Recurring tasks are locked behind a paid subscription

Repeating a task is a basic feature, free in competing apps — here it requires a subscription; many users uninstall right at this step

plz make visbale .font size too small .minutes and. seconds for reminder option should be avaliable

Nice graphics

Super unfriendly UI, not allow to edit the previous days.

Recurring reminders silently stop firing after a few days

You set a daily repeat forever, and after a few days the reminders just stop; the repeat logic appears tied to the 'completed' flag and breaks across time zones

There was a quirk where if you don't save a task which is having subtasks added, the screen locks, when the screen unlocks they get removed. But now that has been fixed, it works very well!

you guys chamged the way a calendar would view all the task

gr[ app 💯

You can't set an exact reminder time — minimum is 5 minutes and it fires off-schedule

The time snaps to '+5 minutes', an exact moment can't be set, notifications fire before the due time rather than at it, and settings reset on their own

galaxy a16 5g. Reminders cannot be set. I literally cannot set a time, it's stuck 5 minutes from now and there is nothing I can do about it. I can't change the time by moving the analog indicators, by tapping the numbers on the digital clock...it's crazy.

just started using, not soo bad i think you should allow us to create more than 1 reminders

not customizable

You can't change the reminder sound — it blends in with emails and messages

The reminder tone is fixed and sounds like any other email, so you tune it out; sometimes the alert disappears entirely or isn't loud enough

I love the app

so awesome

It's brilliant

The calendar view only shows tasks — no hourly planning

You can't block a time slot in the calendar and there's no hour-by-hour planning like Google Calendar; you can't create a separate calendar either — the view is read-only

Some people like me belongs to Middle Class family so cannot afford subscription, please bring Lifetime Plan / One Time Purchase option.

very good

Superb

New users find the interface confusing — basic actions aren't obvious

Some users find the UI over-engineered: it's unclear how to add a task by voice or where to tap; subtasks only open in a popup, and the font is small and faint

Perfect & all options which are needed apart from only a reminder notification, it's here. Thanks to your team.

It is very useful , I recommend it vividly

great , easy on da eye 👁️, user friendly 🙃

You can't delete a task without marking it complete first

To remove an accidental or unwanted task you first have to mark it done — an extra step; this sometimes also spawns duplicate tasks

this app really helps a lot 🙂 install it now, and see

lots of BS. marketing, emails, etc...

The app is pretty good. It needs a little visual improvement, My eyes cannot properly separately see different tasks, especially in calendar view. Calendar view also lacks crucial features like time blocking and task management (like google calendar). It's like it's made only for viewing tasks.

Editing or rescheduling an existing task or event is a struggle

You can't change the day of an added event, set a time retroactively, or edit past days — you end up fighting the interface

Very nice

the calendar widget is no longer advancing to the next month when clicking the right arrow. it will display the correct month but the dates within the widget is not updating.

As someone with ADHD I need to make lists (and execute them). This app is perfect for me to plan my day and check tasks off once done

No search — long lists have to be scrolled manually

Users ask for a task search bar: in a long list there's no way to find an entry except scrolling through the whole thing

hi everyone great app thanks

Absolutely great product to keep your tasks up-to-date. A well thought of application and has all the features in the free version itself. I cannot think of any feature which is missing, but I am sure the team will surprise me with new ones

You can't attach files, photos, or notes to tasks

Users ask for the ability to attach photos, documents, contacts, and a dedicated notes section to tasks

Usefull app, but very important feature is missing.. the days with events are not highlighted in calendar (I see color dots on different screenshots on the official web, but they are not visible in the app) +the widget does not reflect the task order in the application.. on Android.. wierd

lots of BS. marketing, emails, etc...

so far im liking it. Just wish the upgrade didnt cost and hope it doesn't start charging me after 7 days bc I didnt agree to it

The smartwatch app is nearly useless — it doesn't show scheduled tasks

On the watch you can only create an event, not view your tasks or schedule; works poorly on Pixel Watch and Samsung

gr[ app 💯

great apps

Voice entry only works with an exact, rigid phrase

Speech recognition demands one specific phrase, cuts off mid-word, and frequently fails to save the task; dictating shopping lists is impractical

Perfect & all options which are needed apart from only a reminder notification, it's here. Thanks to your team.

great apps

purchased 1 year premium and is not converting to premium.. my profile still showing free acc SOLVED WITHIN 1 DAY. THANK YOU

Paying subscribers have had key features taken away retroactively — Kanban boards, dark theme

Kanban boards were removed for users who already paid for premium; the dark theme was once paywalled too — people cancel subscriptions over this kind of retroactive downgrade

I've loved this free & premium app years, recommended to friends BUT with this last update (trying to be another app that you are not) has really messed with my productivity. 1# Opening up to MY DAY is annoying because if I write things here, you delete them after midnight. There goes my 11pm bedtime thought. So that leads me to annoyance... #2 e.g. now I need to add it my list that I've named TOD

This app confuses me! It's simplified so much basic functions don't work. Missed every alarm so far, including important ones. Yes, I do have notifications on and permissions set. Pressing on because it's supposed to work with my watch. It doesn't so far.
