What users love

Cycle prediction works even with irregular periods

Many users report predictions landing on the exact day, reflecting their personal data rather than an averaged norm

I really love the app. So far, it's very reliable.

like it didn't track my date correctly

The free version is practically unusable. An ad for the paid version pops up every time you open the app, and every time you click on anything. That said, out of all the apps I've used, this one has been the most successful at actually predicting my very irregular cycles using the data I give it, not just spitting out averages like other free apps. So if you can get the paid version for $10 on sal

Current cycle phase hint helps make sense of how you feel

A notification like "you're in the luteal phase" explains mood swings — users switch from other apps just for this widget

I wish there was more information about what every phase means but for me it's been very accurate, if it's wrong it's only by like two days but my period is a tad irregular so it might just be me!

was using this app on and off for a few years (used another one since 2016) and I've been pretry happy so far. The widget that shows what phase I'min is what made me jump ship. I'm giving it 4 stars just because there is no way to connect to samsung health or health connect so I can sync the data in my health app.

Editing my review from one star to four they've changed some things that help the app flow (no pun intended) better. it's pretty customizable, it also notifies you of the phases you're currently in which is really helpful. one minute I'm crying and wondering why, the next minute my phone dings and it's clue saying I'm in luteal phase. i like it so much I paid for the subscription. it's worth it!

Detailed symptom journal as a support tool at the gynecologist

Helps with endometriosis, PMDD, and chronic conditions — doctors take complaints more seriously with logged evidence

this app is so good for tracking my period, it helped me with my doctor's appointment (gynecologist). It's free, if only I have money I'll subscribe. it doesn't have any ads. this app is fast and easy to use.

Awful app. I am actually shocked that this app made it to production with the egregious errors and misinformation. It gives really unsafe and factually incorrect information which could be extremely dangerous for moms in need of medical care. I do Not Recommend this app at all.

I used clue plus to track perimenopause symptoms over the past year, it really helped me to pay attention and notice what my body is telling me.

Educational articles on ovulation, cycles, and pregnancy

Content helps users understand ovulation, prepare for conception, and navigate pregnancy

listen, I love this app with all my heart. But I can't give it five stars because everytime I wish to learn more about a specific topic, go to an article, or do ANYTHING really, the app keeps saying that something's wrong. PLEASE CLUE SUPPORT TEAM FIX THISSS

everything was great about the app , but i deleted it and stopped using it as the images in the certain articles were too inappropriate 😕. I hope it get changed for better

I downloaded yesterday and entered data. I tried to activate the offer on the discounted 1st year premium subscription but then it never worked. now I don't see the offer. app is at full price. zero support interface to ask any questions.sad. because I heard good things and I wanted to try it out. can anyone tell me why the app's first year discounted rate didn't work for me? I'm stuck in regular

Clean, non-pink design — a tracker for grown-ups

Minimalist, non-infantilizing interface with a dark theme and widgets — not sticky-sweet pink

fabulous. I have been using this application since December 2014! almost 12 years. a true gem. many updates over the last decade, stayed consistent. super clean, NOT frilly and pink ! I love it. 10/10 would download again.

It's a practical way of tracking my cycle. Simple and straightforward design. However, the amount of ads for subscription is annoying. I miss it when apps would allow you to make a one time purchase and boom, they would leave you alone. So many basic features are only available if you buy Plus, like cramps intensity, changes in breasts, writting a daily note, and reading articles that are availabl

Clue Connect partner sharing is one-way and also paid

The ability to share your cycle with a partner is appreciated and genuinely helps in relationships

Could've been better if we can edit our custom tags and categorize them. Adding a drop-down feature on categories like period can also help so that we don't waste time scrolling whenever we track outside our period. The connect feature should also be revamped for male users. Canceling our subscription should also be accessible, DON'T HIDE IT. Overall, it's a great and informative app.

I wish we could permanently get rid of the banner for connecting Clue to a device; I don't have one and will not be getting one, and clicking an x button 10 times for various smart watches is really irritating. other than that the app had continued to be my primary source of tracking my cycle for years. it's much more stable and informative than it used to be.

it's a good app for what it does, but it's a bit much to hide everything behind a pay wall. I used to be able to share my cycle with my husband for free, and I can't do that anymore.

A reassuring tool for teens just starting out

Girls aged 12–13 are grateful: they know when their period is coming and no longer get caught off guard at school

I do see why some people get frustrated with the ads - and I don't know if its because I'm new to the app but I haven't seen many. I do kinda like the app. I started using it a while ago (6 years after my first period) mainly to time things. Though I'm not as upset about things being locked - didn't download it for those perks. I do understand the frustration others feel. Overall, for basic tracki

as a 13 year old this app is great it is really doing the work

Growing as a women's health platform: menopause and pregnancy

Covers perimenopause, menopause, hormones, and pregnancy — called "a must-have for every woman"

I used clue plus to track perimenopause symptoms over the past year, it really helped me to pay attention and notice what my body is telling me.

Extremely helpful in tracking everything from early menstruation to peri-menopause

I have been using clue and subscribed to clue plus for a couple of years. While the period tracker and predictions are quite good, the app requirements improvement in terms of pregnancy mode. 2-3 years ago, I was able to navigate to different weeks of pregnancy to read about that. In the current version, nothing changes for a week. It doesn't even let us go to other weeks. In my personal point of

What users hate

Features that were free for years have moved behind a paywall

Analysis, cycle history, pain intensity, notes, and multi-month forecasting now require Plus — the free version is just a calendar

Way too many features locked behind a pay wall.

Might be fine but asks you a load of questions and forces you to agree to sell this data and then blocks you with a pay wall, unable to use the app at all without a subscription

ive used this app for several years, and each cycle I open it and it just sucks more and more. idk why tracking the level of pain I have is locked behind a paywall (which by the way, the popup to buy premium is SO annoying it pops up every single time I tap anything). one of the only ones that doesn't sell data so oh well I guess

Can't correct dates or accurately log period length

Only one day can be marked instead of 6–7, predictions don't adapt to irregular cycles, and date editing is locked behind a subscription

edited my review. With the most recent update it works on my phone again, I appreciate the dev team is very responsive.

Could've been better if we can edit our custom tags and categorize them. Can't open the app. It's showing a white screen with a running circle. I've updated everything. It's been like this for days. I will change my review when this is fixed. All my data of 8 years is in there...

No smartwatch or Samsung Health sync

Sleep and activity data must be entered manually — no connection to Galaxy Watch, Health Connect, Oura, or fitness apps

I wish we could permanently get rid of the banner for connecting Clue to a device; I don't have one and will not be getting one, and clicking an x button 10 times for various smart watches is really irritating. other than that the app had continued to be my primary source of tracking my cycle for years. it's much more stable and informative than it used to be.

i updated but the app its still just showing me the spinner, it wont load... update: app has been broken for 3 days now, i updated it and it's still not working, currently no new update available, i have a samsung z flip 7

it's an amazing app and it actually move in sync with your circle.

Dark patterns in subscription prompts

The close button blends into the background, "90% off" is misleading, and the real price is buried in fine print

A pop ad up does open whenever you open the app for the free version but you can just press back to close it and its not that obnoxious. the ads are only for the paid version and are usually pretty small. you can still track a LOT of symptoms as well as your period on the free version. I trust it, clue has been perfectly fine for me.

The app functionality is good, but the user experience has gotten markedly worse over the last 7 years I've used the app, due to the borderline nonstop shilling of their subscription. They also don't let you export your data which keeps you locked into their app imho. Finally, I find their privacy policy and features lacking considering we are in 2026. Same for trans inclusion, the app does not co

This period app has good functions & info BUT the types of ads and their frequency is 👎 To enter data I get an unskippable full ad page that I have to sit on & wait for it to 'fake' load then click X inconveniently placed top left. I know about the paid features and I don't need/want the paid version. I wouldn't mind the ads or having to see features everywhere I cannot use if it didn't have me w
