When it works, the headshots are genuinely good
The minority who reach a result praise the realism and quality: natural selfies, professional headshots, the face stays recognizable without a "surgical makeover". The generation engine itself isn't the weak link.

You pay before seeing a single image
A hard paywall right at launch: not one trial generation, not a single sample. People have no idea what they're paying for and reasonably leave a one-star before ever using it.

You can't even try anything, you have to buy a subscription just to open the app. Hard no.
The subscription gets you just 2 generations a week
After paying comes the real surprise: a cap of ~2 photos a week, disclosed nowhere up front. After that it's wait seven days or pay again.
2 generations a week at $9.99/week is an absolute joke, do not waste your money

Paid for a year, yet still nagged to pay more inside
Even a yearly or "lifetime" plan doesn't unlock things: after a couple of generations the app demands you buy extra credits on top. People feel cheated.
Took my money for a year and still ask for in app purchases that is supposed to be included in the Yearly subscription.
I paid for the Pro version and they still ask me to pay extra for photo processing. The limit is one photo, and then you have to wait 7 days again.

Asks you to rate the app in the first seconds
A "rate us" prompt pops up literally seconds after opening — before you've done anything. Users flat-out call it a red flag and rating manipulation.

Keeps charging even after you cancel
The most alarming pattern: charges continue after cancellation, there's no in-app way to cancel, and some are billed without ever installing it. People end up disputing with their bank.

I canceled the day I tried it and they still charged me
They auto renewed with no permission, and I had no means to turn off. I had to involve my credit card company.
Results don't look like you, or just come out ugly
Even for those who pay, the output often doesn't resemble the face: it ages you, adds wrinkles, extra arms and distortions. Some complaints aren't about money at all — they're about the AI quality itself.
it took my original photos and made me much older and uglier. disgusting.
produced pictures with 3 hands. Not good.
The images it generated of me added extra deep line around my mouth, closer set eyes, extra cleavage, and weird small mouth expression.
"Free" in the ad turns into a paywall
The ads and the "try now" wording promise a free trial, but everything runs into payment. The gap between the ad and reality is a recurring theme.

When you can't cancel, leaving is hard
Cancellation is buried or unavailable, and trying to exit serves up a special offer and loops you back to the pay screen. Walking away cleanly is nearly impossible.

The app crashes and hangs even after you pay
Technically shaky: crashes on open, an endless registration loop, an outdated build after purchase, "limit reached" right after logging in. You pay and can't even get in.

Separate alarms: the key LinkedIn headshot for professionals vanished, you can't swap your uploaded photos, and the terms claim a perpetual right to all your images. None of it builds trust.
