This App is outstanding! I've used it on the last 6 mountainbike rides in the Chiltern Hills and it's so accurate. Even in the depths of a wood riddled with bridleways and footpaths it picks out the right route within a metre of my bike.

great maps, good community and easy to use. It's my go-to for cycling and hiking.

I like that it shows what types of roads are in the route, what type of surfaces, it has offline capabilities and builds a nice map view of the rides that I take.

I purchased a lifetime licence a few years ago and have used Komoot occasionally with moderate success. Recently, I've been unable to access the app, as it tries to sell me a plan.

I bought the world map pack some time ago. Now they seem to want to transition to a subscription model and keep jamming the "subscribe monthly to get the full experience" in my face whenever I switch between any two screens.

I purchased the worldwide offline maps and it doesn't work offline.. I'm with android 16, galaxy s23 ultra, so it's not the phone the problem

The app became incredibly intrusive and annoying after it was sold to Bending Spoons. I already bought world offline maps, yet each time i use it I'm getting a popup ad nagging me to buy their subscription mode. And this happens several times over a span of just 2 minutes!

The intrusive upselling tactics are a disaster. Even after you pay for the World Pack, you will still be forced to see the "buy premium subscription" screen all the time and you can't turn it off

Nags about premium on every single startup, even if you have purchased regions

The app consumes 30% of my phone battery in 12 hours without even being used, and with live tracking disabled. Komoot, please tell your android dev team to stop holding 5 hour wakelocks when the app is not in use.

I truly believe that this app could put your life in danger. there are some critical things wrong with Komoot. the first and most pressing is the battery drain. no matter what you tick in settings, the screen will persistently stay on. it drained my watch in my phone within 3 hours.

Customizable waypoints are super useful, but the app uses an insane amount of battery during navigation, even with power optimization turned on. Unless my phone has been charged to 50% or more, it will be dead in less than an hour.

Really awkward app to use. Couldn't tell left from right, tried to direct the wrong way around French roundabouts occasionally. Directed us onto an unsafe dual carriageway/motorway. Inability to adapt to slight changes of route.

Not good, consistently gave wrong directions. Got charged for subscriptions despite it not being on my listed subscriptions.

what a useless app this is...if you want to make sure you get lost...get this app. cannot believe in this day and age the route distance is wrong, take you through private properties, close route...just get a Garmin.
