What users hate
Every update makes the app slower, not better
The single most common complaint: after updates the wallet becomes painfully slow and laggy. Components reload on every transaction, switching accounts stutters, the app freezes — even copying an address becomes a chore. Users leave for Rabby, Zerion, OKX, which are "10 times better."
The navigation is extremely slow and sluggish, to the point that even doing simple tasks like copying addresses is a problem.

Veterans of 4-5 years remember how convenient the wallet used to be. New screens (trends, MetaMask card, ads and promos) and a pile of extra UI clutter have turned a self-custody wallet into something resembling a centralized exchange. Familiar features vanished and everything got harder.

Too much bloated stuff on the UI. Also it looks like a centralized exchange's wallet rather than a self custody wallet.
metamask lately has become a platform for ads and promotions, features that we used got removed, has become hot garbage find another wallet
Funds disappear or get stuck, and there's no support
The heaviest reviews: people describe balances vanishing overnight, funds stuck in bridges and swaps, tokens that never arrive. Support is effectively absent, and the reply is "you did something." Some cases are phishing and drainers, but users blame the wallet for being helpless.
I had about 890 in usdc, next morning its gone like it never existed
Thought it was good but 57 cents never went through the bridge for swapping and its stuck. Customer support is non existent
I bought some tokens have screenshots of transactions and everything says I received them but when I check on metamask it says I have 0 so where's my tokens where's my money?????
Balances show wrong figures or disappear entirely
A distinct pain: the wallet shows inaccurate balance info — numbers jump, change, or disappear on their own. Users literally don't know how much they hold, and lose trust in the very point of a wallet.
wallet constantly shows inaccurate information. and at more than one point I'm convinced it's even lost me money. I don't know because I don't even know how much I really got. even now my balance is wrong.

Network switching is broken — you're stuck on Ethereum alone
An update removed the network dropdown, so users can't switch to BNB, CoreDAO and other chains. Only Ethereum is active, balances on other networks are invisible — and MetaMask's own help still points to the old menu that no longer exists.
with the new meta mask update I'm unable to switch between netwroks, I'm finding difficult and it's so annoying
The network pulldown has been removed so how the F do I switch network. MM support files say to use the pulldown menu. MM hasn't even updated their help files to rhe new app update.
then there is not chance to switch chains on the current wallet making impossible to see your balance on other chain mode on the current wallet only ethereum chain is active and can't be switched
Crashes, closes, and won't open after updates
The wallet crashes within a minute of opening, hangs on the loading screen, and won't let you enter your password to log in. On some phones (Redmi, Pixel) the app simply stops responding. Each update brings more crashes.

Importing a seed phrase doesn't restore old accounts
A scary scenario: you enter your seed phrase but your old accounts don't appear — a fresh empty one opens instead. People seriously ask whether the version is fake. On top of that, accidentally created extra accounts can't be deleted, even after a reinstall.
I just imported my seed phrase yet my accounts didn't appear, they opened a new one, where the heck is my old account!!
if you accidentally create an extra account there's absolutely no deleting it even if you reinstall the wallet and import, those useless accounts are still there
Can't delete Imported Account address on mobile, please fix!
False "no connection" errors with working internet
A frequent bug: the app reports "no internet" or "unstable connection" while Wi-Fi is fine and every other app works. This leaves tokens and dApp connections hanging and transactions simply failing.
the app suddenly says "no internet connection" and certain parts stop working. My Wi-Fi is completely fine and every other app on my phone works perfectly, so it's definitely a glitch within MetaMask.

Won't connect to dApps, games and airdrops
The wallet's core value is Web3 connectivity — and that's exactly what breaks: it won't connect to projects, airdrop games, third-party wallets like Safepal, or let you log into dApps via browsers. After the update, requests from web games are simply ignored.
I give one star because is only problem I get to connect to my projects
the app is running very very slow and cannot link with some airdrop such as Einstein game airdrop
