    I have to pay in perpetuity for something I thought I owned. I bought this app years ago for a decent amount of money, and used it here and there, to open it up, today, and learn that I can’t record a video without paying to do so. Wow! Every company or creator is trying to squeeze every cent out of every human being, and it’s kind of sad, and I can no longer subscribe the grifting games companies play.

    Garbage company. Bought this app forever ago and have used it many times. Jump back in after a long hiatus and suddenly Ihave to subscribe, to an app I already paid for in full, years ago. I get you have a new income dynamic but those that paid for a full app when that was your model shouldn’t be screwed over after you decide to go with a sub model.

    Why would anyone pay a subscription for 1 filter?. When I downloaded this app like a year ago, and it was a just free vhs filter. Kinda neat but not a lot of use. I used it once and just left it on my phone. Today I thought it would be cool to use this retro vhs filter with my friends, and when I went to record it asked me to pay!! $8.99 per month or $48.99 per year !?! That’s ridiculous. It’s literally one filter that you can use for free on TikTok and snap. Get this app of the App Store, this is a scam.
