Cancelling is nearly impossible — the subscription isn't even in Google Play
The single most common complaint: cancellation is hidden so well that the subscription can't be found in the app or in Google Play subscriptions, while charges keep coming. Users email support with no reply, cancel four times over, and end up reporting to their bank.
"Lifetime" access vanishes after a new phone or an update
People bought lifetime back in 2022–2023, and now logging in returns "email not found" — even with a receipt in hand, support says there's no record of the purchase. For them "lifetime" turned into "until the developer gets bored."
Pay upfront — no trial, no way to see what it actually does
The app walks you through the whole setup, takes your photo, then hits you with payment — you can't even try one video. People reasonably want to see what it can do first, and uninstall in droves before ever getting a result.
Videos hang in "generating" for hours and days — with no way to cancel
A started video can spin for 2 hours, 3 days, with some waiting 10 hours or three weeks. Worst of all, the stuck render can't be cancelled, and the app blocks any new video until the old one "finishes."
Even Pro gives just 3 videos a week, then asks for more money

Hidden pricing: a $7.99 entry turns into $19.99–20 charges every week
The real cost is never shown upfront: you pay $7.99 to "try," then a week later $19.99 or $20 is quietly taken weekly. The pricing is deliberately confusing, and users feel tricked.
Animation quality is weak: lip-sync misses, the face is a "cutout" that melts
The output is far from the ads: lips out of sync, the face moves like a flat cutout along a fixed boundary, with a new "melting" effect. Many compare it unfavorably to Grok, Manus, and D-ID.
Demands a rating and payment before you've done anything at all
The app demands a rating right after the tutorial, before the first animation — and people leave a one-star for the nerve of it. Same with payment: money is asked for before any result.
Region blocks and "inappropriate photo" errors break the whole point of paying
After payment the app declares it's unavailable in your region (USA, Florida, Illinois), or flags any clothed photo as "inappropriate" — even a dress or a swimsuit. The result: nothing and nowhere to animate.
Support stays silent or sends template apologies — refunds are unreachable
Emails go unanswered for months, tickets sit open since last year, and the promised 30-day refund is out of reach: no phone, no working contact. Even answered tickets are just automated "sorry" replies.
Templates force singing and music, while the effect you wanted (dance, kiss) is gone
People want the photo to dance or do a specific scene, but the app stubbornly makes the character sing over random music. Features like "kissing" suddenly disappear a week after someone bought the app specifically for them.
