Sleep Tracker & Sound by Remly reviews
What users love and hate, from real reviews
A sleep tracker with snore recording and sleep sounds that promises beautiful nightly analysis, but locks almost everything behind a pricey weekly subscription and keeps "losing" the recording by morning.
What users love
The sleep sounds help people drift off — the one thing even critics praise
The white-noise and relaxing-sound library gets genuine praise as soothing: it calms people down and helps them fall asleep, and most 5-star reviews are about exactly this.
I like the soothing sounds helps me fall asleep easily and peaceful ly
it's really good for sleep it has noises that help me sleep this app is amazing
I do like the sounds like the white noise, and others that helped me to relax after laying down.
The dream analysis genuinely lands — a rare standout feature people remember
The dream interpretation turns out surprisingly accurate and emotionally on-point: even people who cancelled single it out for matching what they were going through.
I was massively impressed the the dream analysis and interpretation of my dream, which was spookily accurate to what I'm going through
Extremely accurate when evaluating a dream!! Helps a lot.....
nice soothing sounds and the dream analyzer is something special
What users hate
Empty by morning: you start tracking at night and wake up to nothing recorded
The single most common complaint: people press start before bed for several nights in a row, and by morning the app is back on the start screen showing nothing was recorded.
tried the last 3 nights, never stays recording the whole night, I wake up and the app is closed, and I dont even get a report of when it is recording
never got app to work. hit the button to track sleep 2 nights on a row. it said it was tracking. when I wake up it's back to start tracking and shows no tracking details
Didn't record anything despite the fact that I started a recording when I went to bed.
The ad screams "free," but inside it immediately asks for a card for a paid trial
People come in expecting a free app and are met only with a 3-day trial that demands a card upfront — they read it as outright false advertising.
the very first thing said that it was free it's not free
I love how the ad says it's free but then as soon as you download it it's just a free 3 day trial and they want your credit card right away. False advertising.
Im not going pay for something that is free. I Uninstalled it
Almost everything behind the paywall: you can't even play your own recordings or sounds without paying
You get one recording and a couple of sounds; your own sleep data, the color noises and the rest are locked — what stings most is paying just to access your own data.
Disappointed to learn that you can't listen to your recordings. I can understand an app having certain features behind a paywall, but not your own data!
cant believe that it gave me only ONE recording to listen to and everything else i had to subscribe, and when i did it was just bunch of environment noise
you can't get any of those green noise, brown noise etc without buying.
A $7-11 weekly price for a sleep app feels absurd
Many are shocked the charge is weekly, not monthly: $7-11 a week against plenty of free or far cheaper alternatives reads as a rip-off.
Very well designed, no doubt. But when I saw that it's $9.99, not per month, but PER WEEK...!? for a sleep app? Whoa...
$10.72 per week is insane! No way am I paying that for this app.
basically everything is locked behind a subscription. it offers some good stuff that have the potential to be helpful. its just so greedy, its $14nzd a week. thats more than my gym, and almost as much as my phone bill.
Charges keep coming after you cancel and uninstall — and cancelling is nearly impossible
People cancel before the trial ends or uninstall, yet charges keep coming for weeks; the cancel button is impossible to find, support is silent, and one cancellation even killed someone's Google One subscription.
signed up for free trial. Canceled before free trial ended and I'm STILL GETTING BILLED! CAN'T FIND A WAY TO STOP THIS BILLING.
This app completely changed my entire home screen and they continue to charge you weekly even after you uninstall it after the free trial.
I cancelled the subscription in the app, but it cancelled my Google One account and not the app's subscription. What's up with that?
Charges for an app people never even used — it feels like fraud
Some users only glanced at the app or never subscribed at all, yet found charges, sometimes off a spouse's card; double charges show up and people reissue cards and go to their bank.
I have not used this site but Im being charged. You all made another charge off of my husband's card as well.
never subscribed to this but is taking money from my bank bloody scam
I just wanted to look at this page to see what it was about. but instead 3 weeks later my account is almost $60 in debt do not download this app
Sound classification is wrong: snoring gets logged as "pet," "talking" or "fart"
The app can't tell sound sources apart: snoring gets tagged as talking, sneezing or an animal, a dog's bark counts as the user snoring, and a background TV throws off the whole picture.
It called my snoring: animal noises, talking in my sleep and sneezing. Everything BUT snoring. It said my coughs were hiccups.
This app records noises that are not from you when you are sleeping. If my dog barks at a noise, it records that I am snoring.
Sometimes it would say domestic pet,or fart when it was definite snoring.
It measures noise, not sleep: numbers clash with watches and reality
The app gauges loudness rather than sleep: it shows 2-3 hours after 8-12 hours of sleep, disagrees with Garmin and Samsung Health, and mistakes a fan for being awake.
this app does not monitor sleep, it checks for the level of noise. It has no accuracy and does not adequately record events throughout the night.
No matter how much I slept (4, 8, 12 hours), it said I only got 2-3 hours of sleep.
this app data indicated 3 hours while Garmin data indicated 9+ hours.
Crashes, freezes and force-closes about 10 minutes after tracking starts
The app crashes overnight, freezes asking to close the window, and shuts itself down about 10 minutes after start; stats won't load, and tracking fails on newer phones like the S25.
won't save sleep, closes the app after 10min.
Frequently crashes overnight so I wouldn't get the sleep logs.
this app freezes and says close window, does not work after I paid a premium price, now they will not refund me.
Sounds loop in a crude 10-20 second clip that actually keeps you awake
Those very praised sounds are undermined by crude looping: short clips repeat every 10-20 seconds with no smooth transition, there's no sleep timer, and it keeps people awake.
Sounds stop and repeat, which interrupts the ability to fall asleep. Sounds need to be continuous.
you can hear the sounds looping over and over every 10 seconds and its not a smooth loop its very irritating for 6.99 a week.
which is like a repeating 20 second clip of a cat loudly washing itself and licking the mic.
The flashlight heart-rate sensor burns your finger and returns nonsense
Measuring pulse via camera and flashlight literally burns the finger, the reading is unreliable, and it absurdly reports the very "stress" its own burn caused.
when you check your heart rate it burns your finger with the flashlight.
the finger heart rate checker where you put your finger on your flashlight it burned so bad, and then it said I was stressed, OF COURSE IM STRESSED MY FINGER IS BURNING.
heart beat check wasn't accurate, picking up sounds wasn't accurate however I liked the sounds
