I can get over 8 items for a little over 20 bucks and nowdays, that is unheard of.

they lie and say u have free gifts but in order to get them you have your spend money..that's not free
Do not fall for the free gift scam it is not free gifts you have to buy the amount of gifts that you picked out for free they are not free
calendar event gave me 8 items free and up to $2000 in temu credit but after the first free item it said I had to buy $20 worth in stuff

Spinning wheels, "wins," and scarcity counters ("only 2 left") read as casino mechanics designed to make you buy. Many call it manipulative and predatory.
they use gamified casino style methods to trap you into thinking you've won something, just to make you buy stuff to unlock the "free" stuff

Botched orders: wrong item or nothing at all
A common pain: they ship the wrong item (women's shirts instead of men's, the wrong knife) or part of the order simply "disappears," and the refund has to be fought for.
I bought some stuff. men's shirt and was sent woman shirts
I only received 1 item instead of the 2 pack I ordered. They denied the refund.
I ordered 8 items but only received 1. When I contacted customer service about the 7 missing items, they simply claimed their warehouse confirmed everything was packed and refused to help.
Not as pictured: size and quality lie
Photos mislead on size (a "36-inch" bag turns out to be 10) and clothes are a cheap version of the picture, running 1–2 sizes small. "Cheap does not mean good."
90% of listings have fake photos that mislead actual size. Pic of woman standing behind suitcase giving impression bag is 36" high. Actual size is 10".
The clothes are always cheap terrible versions of what is pictured even expensive ones, just don't do it!
most are not as described, cheap does not mean good! buyer beware!
Forced minimum-cart threshold
To check out or get free shipping you must hit a $15–30 cart minimum. It frustrates people who want one small thing but are forced to pad the order.

Bombardment of notifications and ads
A flood of push notifications, emails, and intrusive ads across other platforms. People compare it to being stalked — "more harassment than my ex."

The constant nusince ads and emails you get once you buy, you can't stop them or put into spam.
Cluttered UI and motion overload
The screen is packed with animations and moving images — the payment button gets lost, some users literally get motion sickness, and pop-up "rewards" are impossible to dismiss.
The app is so cluttered and bombards you with animations. It's so cluttered that I couldn't clearly see where the payment info was and checked out with the wrong method.
even the site gave me motiin sickness and I left instead to buy!
I tried to exit a "reward" page and it proceeded to spam me with 6 different rewards every time I tried to exit.
Slow, unreliable delivery
Couriers are the weak link: parcels get lost, returned to the warehouse, or sit "arrived in country" for weeks without delivery. For many the order never came at all, even after months.
I ordered twice and did not receive my parcels both times, yet I was asked to leave a review. There was no proper response to my complaint and no refund even after 2 months.
you will have a notification that your order has arrived in the UAE but it will take more than a week before you get it.

Low product quality
A share of buyers complain about junk that breaks on day one, gadgets that don't work (watches that lie about steps and heart rate), and clothes they can't wear.
sadly you get what you pay for, as most break within a day of use, especially if plastic
the watches are far away from accurate in counting steps, heart beat etc.
if you want very low quality products... go for it.
