После обновления приложение убрало списки и заменило их картой с цифрами — большинство пользователей не могут найти привычный способ просматривать заведения.
They made the app pointless. I want to review a list of restaurants nearby and all I can see now is the map.
Instead of lists with detailed information, I get a map with numbers like 4.5 wit no descriptions. This is useless.
seems now it doesn't show results in a list. only shows places on the map

this trip advisor is selective when we write the review. Most of the reviews we see in the tripadvisor review are fake. I did give a low star, but it got rejected.
I did a bad review on a hotel that alolmkst gave me food poisoning, TripAdvisor asked it it was correct in an email and then didn't give me an option to reply or post the review.
have informed more than 5 times that a review is posted to the wrong business and still nothing has changed. not reliable this way

no longer includes local things to do. just pushes you to book over priced tours.
I still use the app and do find some of what I am looking for, but it's not as good as it used to be. Harder to find a list of guides rather than predefined tours.
Used to be far better. The promoted listings and unhelpful, default presentation of places that you need to navigate around makes it yet another example of enshitification.

It is a good app when you have enough bandwidth. Otherwise, useless. The app is a resource hog. If you find yourself in a part of the world with poor connection the app becomes useless. Pages like booking details fail to load.
Con / Reason for deleting: Cannot copy text from the app to paste elsewhere.
My trips no longer loads. No way to reach out for them to fix bug in the app. Used to be great.

Love the app but.... there's a problem with unrelenting reminders. If you get to the point where you have checked prices and dates, it will ask a dozen times if you are sure you don't want to finish the reservation.
well, one expects more rewards when actively leaving feedback, without the. rewards, you simply lose motivation to do it sustainably.
