It has been insanely helpful!! I have long COVID & have short term memory loss & ADHD. I use it to record every meeting-formal and informal so that I can go back & listen for details, search conversations, & look at the action steps otter lists for me
Awesome cross-platform features with excellent transcription quality. I especially love the AI feature. Where I can search content in each transcription or over several transcriptions periods.
great for meetings. spares the note taking time. like how it detects and writes down action items as well for one to remember after the meeting.

DOES NOT WORK. You have to log in with a work email address, google or microsoft before it even opens. I tried all three and it just goes to an error. Useless. Zero stars.
Demands a sign in with Google, Microsoft, or work email upon opening the app. No way to try features without consenting to sell my data. Uninstalled.
Why does a voice to text app need to see my life online? Nope, deleted. Far too intrusive for an app i want to use to create shopping lists

I couldn't figure out how to use it. Just trying to take notes by voice. It wouldn't let me name them, though it made its own summaries. It divided my note into twenty little ones? I have no idea why.
archiving conversations after 24 notes and forcing people to buy it is unconscionable
Inconsistently saves my real-time comments while I'm recording, so not a very trustworthy function.

This app keeps joining all of my meetings, anything with a zoom link. Even after detaching the integration with my calendar accounts, it keeps joining and I can't get it it stop. It is super annoying and super persistent.
do not install this! Once u do, otter will email everyone of your contacts or u have meetings with l telling them YOU invite them to otter, with reply to..YOUR email. and they keep sending that email EVERYTIME you have a meeting with someone.
WARNING avoid - still sending me messages couldn't transcribe meeting after I deleted app and removed access in Google.

It's a battery hog. I had it on my phone for one day. Never used it. And it drained my battery. Uninstalled it right away. Battery % has been stable since.
Android widget not available for months, Support have no idea when it will return. still as bad as ever in UK accents
