"Not the Wish it used to be": veterans mourn the cheap glory days
The single most common theme is nostalgia laced with disappointment: long-time users say it used to have the cheapest items and free shipping, but now the stock is just as generic at mid-range prices. Every comparison is against a better past.
wish used to ha be the best items for the cheapest price across the board now they stock is jus as generic but everything costs like midrange items
Wish used to be the best back in the days when it was free shipping all around and cheap items... Each time I check it again it's gotten worse. the real ones remember it at its prime.
editing my rev to 2 stars, back in the day I was hooked on this app and now it's just not the same. The prices have jumped up and the items to choose from seems limited.
"Ordered — never arrived": parcels vanish and the money with them
A huge cluster of complaints is simply that items never arrive. People wait months, sometimes years, orders show as "delivered" but never land, and it almost always ends in a fight for a refund that never comes.
I ordered an item, the item never came, they said they issued a refund but I never received any refund. It has now been months and they just give me the run around
almost half of the items ive order from the site never showed up and by the time I contacted customer service, they said I waited too long to report it and lost out on 100s of dollars worth in equipment
waiting for 5 years for a parcel,I did receive another parcel with ladies panties, so stopped purchasing from wish, shocking service
Support replies with copy-paste and AI boilerplate instead of solutions
When something goes wrong, support sends the same template over and over or offers a token 20% refund. Users explicitly call it a runaround and blame fake AI responses that ignore the actual problem.
Terrible customer service who wouldn't answer a simple question just quoted the same text over and over. Wouldn't pass my complaint on to a complaints department or supervisor.
Reached out to support and keep getting the same copy/paste response offering 20% back. You sent me the wrong item and still want me to pay for it
I had an issue with a pair of gloves I order but there customer support has sent me the same exact Ai generator response 5 times after me saying a 20% refund is unacceptable
Prices caught up to and passed Amazon, Temu, Walmart — no reason to stay
The core practical reason people leave: the same item is cheaper and faster on Temu, Shein, Amazon or Walmart. They cite hard numbers — a £189 flash drive, $80-205 pet fountains — and defect to the rivals they name by hand.

I am sorry to say I won't be buying anything cause temu has same stuff for way cheaper price.

Login is broken: "oops, something went wrong" on a loop
A whole wave of recent reviews is about being locked out. The app throws "oops something went wrong," won't accept old accounts, won't let users reset a password or create a new one. Reinstalling does nothing and people are stuck outside their own profiles.
I cannot log into the app anymore just keeps saying there is a problem please fix .

What shows up is defective, fake, or the wrong item entirely
Even when a parcel arrives, what's inside is often defective, a knock-off, or an entirely different item: the wrong knife, a cartridge for the wrong console. And returning it is nearly impossible, hence the recurring word "scam".
Ordered an item for my GBC and received an item for a NES instead.
i ordered the blue pro tech USA spring assisted knife and was sent the wrong knife. I am not very happy about it.
FILLED W SCAMMERS and customer service doesn't care. You wait months to get the wrong item (often a fake), and kiss your $ goodby.
Getting a refund is a near-impossible quest
Refunds are their own ordeal: a refund is "issued" but never hits the card; only 20% is offered for a defect; returns are refused over sizing; users are told to ship items back to China at their own cost. People lose tens to hundreds of dollars.
I bought 2 usb drives and they never shipped, they said they refunded me but the money never showed back up on my card so now I lost out on $38
They only gave me a 20% refund of a defective item... sus
was denied a refund. was told I would have to send it back to China on my own. if you dont no that is very difficult to do.
Slow shipping is the known price of paying so little
Even happy buyers almost always add one caveat: deliveries take 2-3 weeks, sometimes months. Many tolerate it for the price but forget what they even ordered; for others it's the final straw.

please make non local shipping little faster on receiving then wats current I end up forgetting what I ordered if it even arrives

Quality is a "you get what you pay for" lottery
Even loyal buyers admit quality swings seller to seller. A lot is outright cheap junk, fabric turns out to be polyester instead of cotton, things break fast. Buyers accept it as the cost of low prices, but it's a gamble.
Mostly total garbage but ocasionally have items useful for me
a lot of stuff isn't great quality, but its decent for people with a cheap budget and usually arrive at an orderly time.
cheap good quality despite that its so cheap most clothing doesnt show in pix or in details but more then once clothing I've ordered was supposed to be cotton fabric
Listings are vague: no materials, no video, no reliable sizing
A concrete product gripe: listings don't tell you what you're buying. No fabric content or care info, no video inside bags and wallets, descriptions not in English, and sizing lies — order an L, get something that doesn't fit.
You never state what the clothing is. Nor state the care of the clothing one must take to avoid damages before washing/cleaning.
