When it works, the images are impressively detailed
Those for whom it still works praise quality and detail above many rivals: people make book covers, storyboards, channel art, and call Wonder their go-to tool.

Simple text input — easy for beginners to start
The core "describe it in words, get an image" loop is intuitive and fun: people note how easy it is to use, while warning that wording has to be precise.

What users hate
The "lifetime" license is locked to one device and never transfers
The single most common complaint: people bought "lifetime" access, switched or broke their phone, and on the new one "restore purchase" says no subscription found — even though the purchase is right there in their Google Play history.

Support sends auto-replies, then just ghosts you
The same script plays out dozens of times: the user sends a receipt and proof of purchase, gets a templated reply or a request for the receipt — and then silence for months.

I sent the receipt and was left on read

Unlimited access swapped for a credit system after you've paid
People who bought "unlimited for life" suddenly find a 1000-credit cap and prompts to buy more — the exact thing they paid to avoid.
now they changed it so I have tokens and a set amount of generation. Bait and switch with no refund
They sold me an lifetime license with unlimited image generation. Now I must buy credits to use the app
I bought the app premium full price for life in 2022, and now you give me 1000 credits?
Ads with no X — you can't close them, and the image is lost
The free version makes you watch an ad per generation, but the X never appears (often the Wonder banner at the top covers it), so you have to kill the app and lose both the attempt and the prompt.
the ads don't even have an X to close them anymore. you literally cannot use the app as intended

Generation quality dropped after model updates
Long-time users agree: it used to produce unique, almost classical-looking art, now it's blurry mush; the model updates feel like a downgrade.
Before you could get Unique Images now it's just blurred smeary nonsense

after several software changes (downgrades) it's uncooperative, too modern and cheesy in output, too obviously AI
Ignores the prompt — outputs nothing like what you asked
Basic requests fail: a black background instead of a light one, can't even render simple words in the image, returns something "similar" instead of what was asked.

Censorship flags harmless words and outfits
The NSFW filter trips on completely innocent things — "mage outfit," "battlemage attire," a banana on a cat — and won't say what was wrong, making the app nearly useless.
now i cant even generate a banana on top of a cat without the app saying it's nsfw
"Battlemage Attire" for whatever reason gets flagged as "NSFW"
literally "mage outfit" got flagged for me!
Charges after cancellation and pushes weekly billing
The free trial quietly rolls into hidden weekly charges (~$4/week); people get billed multiple times in one week and keep getting charged after cancelling.
I canceled my subscription months ago, they kept trying to charge me, and it went through again

Broken anatomy — extra hands, fingers, feet
A classic generator failure: missing or extra appendages, two feet on one leg, a third hand — especially in crowd scenes and on hands.

Loyal users drop their ratings over cut features: uploading your own art as a reference, and the original detailed "Pen&Ink" style that was swapped for a worse western one.

At some point they changed "Pen&Ink" to a more western style of art and the quality is awful!
seems like they're taken features away. Please stop updating it WAS perfect before
