Long-term users keep notes, lists, and ideas in one place for years and can't imagine work or daily life without it

Overall the pay wall blocking everything has led me to unistalling the app. I've seen other reviews on here and im gonna transfer all my notes out to Samsung notes instead before I lose

Annual fees jumped several times over (from $40–80 to $150–250); the increase is framed as a 'new pricing structure,' and longtime subscribers are canceling en masse
it is way too expensive for what I use it for. Not priced for someone in retirement (not their target group) so I will soon have to let it go. This new company that took it over is clearly not service-oriented. I have tried repeatedly to contact a real person to resolve issues but have not been able to do that no matter what buttons I press. I wish them all the best in their endeavors.

worst experience i have been hearing many time about this app as my senior also suggested me for notes making to go with evernote but when i install this application its lock me out back to back i am frustrated.
I've been using this app with the free plan since 2014. I have had issues with messaging, file sharing, and collaboration since 2014. Edit to add: forced me to pay to access my own notes, can't share or collaborate and half the time doesn't work as promised. What am I paying for?

When first opening the app, it started with an unskippable ad, then was prompting me to sign up for their premium offerings and trial. I have not even made an account yet, how am I supposed to know if I want these features? after making an account, the make your first notebook guide kept repeating the same steps, so I couldn't even move forward. I decided this isn't the app for me.

Used to be the best notetaking app. But they got greedy. Subscription prices are insane just to be able to access notes everywhere. That's not an enterprise, feature. Cross-platform should just be a given for the everyday user. They're treating every user like an enterprise user with subscriptions like this.

Currently a broken mess. Consider this: Evernote has provided a ton of new AI stuff but simply forwarding emails to your Evernote account is now often rejected by their own server. Please, please, please, get the basics right and I'll keep being a paying customer; but keep stuffing this up and I'm out.

Have been a panying user for years. Just tried to increase my subscription fee by 10x. Migrating my notes out as we speak. Has also become incredibly slow as they continue to feature creep things you don't need.

The delete button and text selection misfire constantly
Selected text often isn't deleted when you hit 'delete,' and instead of highlighting text the 'copy note' screen appears; editing older content has become a chore

Was a great app. But is now giving me "View Only" most of the time when editing a note. *Update 2026, it's even WORSE! I simply went to highlight a note and now this stupid copy note edit screen pops up. I don't want to copy! Just want to highlight. I advise everyone to stay away or delete.

I have been priced out. I can't afford to spend $22 a month on a notes app i only sometimes use. i have well over 20 notebooks so downgrading to the more affordable starter subscription plan would not work for me. Pretty sad considering how long I've had it. I barely use any storage. their pricing model makes no sense unless you use it like crazy. it shouldn't cost a fraction of what i was paying.
Screen rotates while reading in bed — no way to lock it
Reading in bed is awkward: the screen rotates even with device rotation locked, and there's no toggle inside the app
