Google's free calendar for meetings, events, and reminders with cross-device sync — built for people who live in the Google ecosystem.

What users love

Rock-solid sync across all devices

Entries appear instantly on your phone, laptop, and everywhere else — everything always in one place

Works perfectly! Love the color coding and reminders. Always in sync with all my devices. Couldn't function without my Google calendar!!!

Awasome

amazing!

Reminds you well in advance — an hour, a day, a week out

Alerts for appointments and events fire early, with customizable lead times and snooze, so nothing slips through

I like that I can type something in, as an appointment, it will remind me of my upcoming appointment a couple days ahead of the time.

Works perfectly! Love the color coding and reminders. Always in sync with all my devices. Couldn't function without my Google calendar!!!

Thank you

Simple and approachable — a genuine memory aid as you age

Clean interface and low-friction entry; many users say it's a real help when memory starts to fade, including for those managing dementia

Helps when you forget the date

I would not make it to far without my Google calendar. it alerts me an hour before, a day before, a week before. you can customize it, color code it, repeat it into next year. makes my life easier. thank you google

why I have to have 2 one from device comp other from Google bout would erase from exista

Multiple personal and shared calendars in one app

Manage and switch between several calendars to keep family and work organized in one place

im trying to get Reminders to do every hours exp 5 hrs

Helps me stay organized

The app has sabotaged my alarm multiple times. Overnight updates turn coworkers' shared calendars back on when I had them unchecked. That triggers DND event mode, and my alarm is silenced.

What users hate

The icon always shows "31" instead of today's date

The home-screen badge is stuck on 31 — you can't check the date without opening the app; users constantly compare this to Samsung and Apple, where the icon updates every day

school boy

It would be very helpful if the app icon displayed the current date instead of a fixed number (such as 31). This would allow users to quickly see today's date at a glance without having to open the app and view the full calendar. A dynamic date display on the app icon would improve convenience. Thanks

doesn't show proper date

The date on the icon used to update daily, then a recent update broke it

Many users had a live date on the badge, but an update wiped the feature; on one phone with Android 12 it still works, on Android 16 it's frozen at 31

the app icon does not show the correct day of the week

Great APK lovely I like it

Really good app and easy to use.

The new icon looks like Outlook and blends in with everything else

The redesigned icon irritates users — it's washed-out, easy to mix up, and reminds them of Microsoft; some spent ten minutes hunting for the app after the update

Hate the new icons!!! Took me about 10 minutes trying to figure out where my apps went and why they changed. I really want to change them back to the way they've been for over a decade.

who has designed this new ugly icon that does not fit into the set of Google colourful icons. Now it looks like an icon of an app from a startup.

me gusta

No year view — no way to see the whole year at a glance

Only day, week, and month are available; users want the ability to zoom out to a full-year view, especially on tablets and foldables

app so very nice

ui not good

very easy to use

Too few colors to label events

About seven colors total, with blues and greens that look nearly identical; users want more customizable colors so events stand out in month view

put more optional colors, it's good but it's kinda difficult to organize your tasks if you don't have a variety of colors (you just have like 7 options btw)

it works so far, create special alert tones for us please

have managed to link my calendar on the webpage but it's not updating on the app 🙄

Month view hides event details and is awkward to navigate

Selecting a month doesn't show actual events, text gets clipped, the month label disappears when you scroll forward, and overflow days from adjacent months clutter the grid

Good but only for viewing

Helps me stay organized

I can't make my own appointments optional Where is the artificial intelligence, recurring habits support similar to reclaim.ai? Using google calendar feels so old school

Users want a clean calendar — no tasks, holidays, or birthdays by default

The screen fills up with to-do lists, holidays, and birthdays; people want settings to turn these off and default to a simple monthly grid

I can't make my own appointments optional Where is the artificial intelligence, recurring habits support similar to reclaim.ai? Using google calendar feels so old school

I usually like changes, specially Google's, they improve every time... The fact that you can't see the events in the monthly calendar or not being able to navigate between the months is not very efficient.

I wish there more colors for calendar events and more ways to personalize appearance, other than that Google Calendar is my life line!!!

The calendar auto-inserts banner images based on event title keywords

Keywords like lunch, birthday, or trip trigger decorative banners, and there's no in-app toggle to disable them

good event management

defaults to wrong account on Android

The widget was stripped down — small, no events, no transparent background

The flexible widget was removed or shrunk; users want larger sizes with task and event lists, a transparent background, and a tappable surface

Great APK lovely I like it

i like this app, helps a lot in planning on coming programs

good luck newer and more up-to date. more cosmic technically advanced

Too many taps to create or edit an event

Adding an entry requires tapping a date, then picking a type from a separate menu; editing requires opening the event, then tapping a pencil icon; time selection adds an extra "OK" confirmation

Nice 👍

Too many unnecessary steps + display date frozen at 31. You have to tap on a date to create a new calendar item, and then tap again on a separate Event/Task/Birthday Selection Menu. Also when editing an existing event you have to click the item, and then click again on the "Edit" pencil. GOOGLE ELIMINATE THE USELESS STEPS! Also the Display Date on the app icon is frozen at 31 so you don't know wha

one star until we can upload files as attachment directly, without the need to load them in drive before

Events save with a time offset and reminders fire late

With a 15-minute step, events save 15 minutes earlier than selected; entries sometimes land on the wrong date; reminders fire 1–3 minutes late

nice

it would be nicer if you didn't have to constantly switch between the monthly layout after seeing a task you set up. having a list view would also be good, simple without all the graphic displays.

মোটামুটি বলা যেতে পারে।

Minimum reminder is 10 minutes — nothing shorter is possible

Users want 3, 1, or 0-minute reminders, repeating alerts every few hours, and custom notification sounds

Migrating tasks from Google Keep broke reminders and creates duplicates

Keep tasks and reminders moved into Calendar — reminders now fire at midnight instead of the set time, and users have to mark items done in two places

حلوووو

🙂👍

Tasks have no end time and can't have a reminder

Android tasks lack a completion time (even though the web version has one), can't be given event-style reminders, can't be duplicated, and can't span multiple dates at once

this is really good updates

hey google, the Google Keep tasks and reminders have been moved to calendar as tasks, and it's the worst UI, the reminders don't trigger on time. they trigger at 12am on the day, which doesn't serve the purpose of setting a reminder at certain time. repetitive reminders keep showing up as pending despite marking them complete on the calendar app. so a User have to update status on google keep, and

good alerts

Can't mark yourself busy/free from the phone

The busy/free status is only available in a browser or on desktop, defaulting to free — so meetings get double-booked; there's also no "Today" button and no way to send an event to other people

I think the date end on 30

used tos tore zero-day exploits and can be called upon to launch them via notifications as delivery they are stored Google's side and can be anywhere in your calender (massive file really on the users front but small text file on there back end) auto synks and follows you around where ever you login that has acsess to calender. yes this is part of there intentional weaponizing of the android os.

Can't attach a file or photo directly from the device

Attaching an image or document first requires uploading it to Google Drive — there's no way to attach files straight from the phone

A good idea

one star until we can upload files as attachment directly, without the need to load them in drive before

Old records don't load — events older than a year disappear

Past appointments beyond a year are inaccessible and scrolling back through old years is painful; for medical history tracking, this is a critical gap

very poor. don't remind me on my task and bday dates. date show wrong on theme

Awesome thanks

it's be nice if there were more ways to personalize the calendar or certain inputs events for example, being able to add an image or gif to holidays like a pumpkin for Halloween or for a Halloween party event you add to the calendar

Users want local and religious calendars — Solar Hijri, Bengali, Hindu Tithi

Local calendar systems and precise religious dates aren't supported; users report Islamic dates as inaccurate

add indian Bengali calendar

please add shamsi calendar for Iranian user shamsi is best calendar 📆 thank you

Her birthday💗

Time zones conflict between phone and computer

Setting the correct zone on desktop throws off the phone, and vice versa; travelers want an offset label shown on events when time zones differ

very easy to use

it should show the current date instead 31

Can't create or edit events and tasks from a watch

The watch app is read-only — users want to add and edit tasks and events directly from their wrist

no es installa

have managed to link my calendar on the webpage but it's not updating on the app 🙄

Users want a countdown to future dates

People want to tap a future date and see how many days remain, plus countdown widgets broken down by months, weeks, and days

it would be nicer if you didn't have to constantly switch between the monthly layout after seeing a task you set up. having a list view would also be good, simple without all the graphic displays.
