This is an amazing app I have 3 plants that are from the late 70s early 80s that my mom and grandmother got. Now I know what they are and how to care for them.

This app used to be WONDERFUL for helping me diagnose my plants. Now it doesnt matter what the plant looks like itll just say "it looks healthy" im not paying for a watering calendar im paying for you to help me diagnose my plants!

says my cilantro plant looks healthy while it is almost flat on soil with leaves withered and dying lol

you said plant is healthy but obliviously it's not

Spend 5 minutes onboarding with useless animations and asking some random psychology questions. I just wanted to know why my plants dying.

this app is the most condescending thing I've ever seen. It talks down on you like you are an imbecile. It's nothing but obnoxious animated splash screens everywhere

there is a free version. I think the person in the review before me said that there wasn't. there is. its just hard to see the 'x' in the corner after you answer the first questions

Good but limited. Even with notifications enabled I am not getting alerts to water plants unless I specifically go into the app. which defeats the whole point of even having the app. I want to be reminded, not have to go check.

kinda buggy and I never get popup notifications. I have to open the app and by then I'm behind on the watering schedule.

Tendency to overwater even though I set up manual watering. Rely on water gauge. Wish it also had a light meter.

I tried the free version and added a bunch of plants. I thought the app was great but there really needs to be a way to sign in because I got a new phone and when I loaded the app up I realized I lost everything.

let's fix the intro to the download. instead of asking where your plants are "mostly", why not have a log in feature to your account? and also, why can't we choose both indoor and outdoor at the beginning? logged back in after getting new phone, everything I had built is gone. and the app doesn't even have an option for an account.

could you add saving pictures when you move to a new device?

It also doesn't have a feature to take into account newly potted seedlings that don't have established roots and need watering more often. My seedling almost died because it recommended watering every 10 days when it needs every other day rn.

This app did help alot with my venus flytraps until it had told me to use a copper based fungicide which is toxic to venus flytraps this almost killed my plant.
