Awesome note taker for meetings. Excellent transcripts and the best feature is that it knows the speakers! I'm still learning how to optimize it but after a month of using it I don't go anywhere without it.

Very versatile app with amazing accuracy and a wealth of prompt models. I use it every day in my law practice for client interviews and client phone calls.

Unbelievably good.. I record training lectures and the way it captures the transcript and writes my notes is beyond anything I could do.. I struggle to engage AND write, so using the Plaud Note Pro is like having a personal assistant sat with me..

The best thing about Plaud is that it is completely stand alone and my phone does not have to be on, or even on me, for Plaud to work. I just press the button and wait for a single vibrate and I know we are recording.

Love Plaud—it saves me time and builds a solid knowledge base from meetings.

I would be so lost without this app. I have recently joined a program in South Korea to learn about rural communities and farming, but the classes are all in Korean. Using Plaud, I'm able to record the lessons and afterwards transcribe, translate, and organise is perfectly.

Deception by Omission you need to tell people that it requires the hardware that they have to buy in order to use the app. i'd like my 3 minutes you wasted back.

this requires you to purchase a separate device. not clear enough before install

Forcing users to buy a device is the WORST business strategy. I admire the transcribing and summarizing quality, but for me I don't think a device is necessary for the functionality.

Extremely hefty subscription they do not tell you about. Without the subscription, you can only use YOUR device, the device YOU paid for, 300 minutes, or 5 hours per month.

I didn't mind buying the costly hardware but I don't like that I need to buy a subscription to use the software other than the small about of free data per month.

Terrible user interface. Most importantly, file transfer is not convenient. It is slow, even using WiFi to transfer, and you can't use the app during transfer. Not seamless at all. There is no way to export all files, just one at a time.

this app, the web app and this company is awful. they refuse to allow mass export of your recordings or transcripts so you are locked into their terrible software.

Data traferred between app & laptop is repeatedly lost.

Ask Plaud is very intrusive. It should not scan all the notes every single time I ask a question. Not only will there be private notes people don't want to be sent up to AI, but it causes responses to be weird and inaccurate at times because it pulls in parts from different notes that are unrelated.
