A subscription app for kids roughly ages 3–8 that teaches reading step by step — letters, sounds, and words — through structured lessons.

What users love

Kids actually start reading — parents see a jump within weeks

Noticeable gains in reading skill and confidence in as little as 1–3 weeks

it's not just fun but it teaches me how to read

It is a great learning app for developing brains.

been using the app for years. my 7 year old can read better than my 17 year old nephew! ❤️

One service covers both reading and math (Math Seeds)

Beyond reading, it teaches counting, time, and money — parents appreciate the breadth

It is a great learning app for developing brains.

it's so fun but do we really have to pay for kids to learn

i think that reading eggs is for beginners if your a beginner then it is very fun

Learning feels like play — kids ask to open it themselves

Egg rewards, avatars, and decorating a house motivate without coercion

this app is so much fun to do after school 🏫 and at school from Harper

It is a great learning app for developing brains.

how's your learning 🤙🛒🏡🧡❤️😬😝😔

Works for kids with special needs — autism, ADHD, dyslexia

Parents of children with special needs report strong engagement and real progress

I love reading experience eggs

Quite buggy given how expensive it is. It's constantly asking me to login with username and password. Recently it has started blanking out the screen at inappropriate times with a message saying "rotate the screen" which is pointless and doesn't go away until some arbitrary thing happens which I can't understand and has nothing to do with the screen orientation.

it's not fun

A cornerstone of home-school curricula

Home-school families build their daily lessons around the app

my kid learned nothing it dumb and I have to pay ahhhffvdggdg reading egg sucks

i think that reading eggs is for beginners if your a beginner then it is very fun

this is the worst reading app ever 🤮

Follows school curriculum, content built by teachers

Aligns with classroom syllabi and is actively used in schools

It is a great learning app for developing brains.

This app fully follows the curriculum for the UK and its so much fun for my both kids! Love it!

This is best for students

No ads, no inappropriate content — safe to leave a child unsupervised

Clean, ad-free environment with no offensive material

This is a brilliant program. It has really helped my daughter's to excel 5 and 10 years. I always recommend it to all my friends and parents I meet

Excellent program! I highly reccomended

So fun for my kids and is so educational with no cursing😊.

Pricey, but many consider it worth it — cheaper than a tutor

Less expensive than private lessons, and results show

This is really one of the best learning apps I have found. Pricing is a lot higher considering the app can be slightly buggy but when you look at the quality of learning it feels inexpensive.

horrible

What users hate

Volume spikes: lesson audio is quiet, cartoons and praise are deafening

Jarring volume swings startle kids and make instructions hard to hear

The app is great for learning to read, but the background noise is awful. It makes it hard to hear what they are actually saying. It also makes the kids feel anxious because they feel like they are running out of time. Please fix this!

update - its not my devices causing the sound issues as I have tried using it on various devices, samsung, apple, lenovo etc. also I have been looking in the library for books to read for my son who is 5. NONE of the books are readable for a 5 year old. they all have too many difficult words please fix major sound issues. for example the videos are extremely loud but then the activities are really

wonderful, awesome 👍👍 great app for developing little minds , happy mum here 🤗 and happy 6yo son too.

Freezes and loses progress — kids have to redo the same lesson

Crashes and freezes reset completed work, sending kids back to the start

My 6 year old son has been using it for a few months and really loves it. The app doesnt always run smoothly and it does crash occassionally. Main reason for the 1 star rating is because at level 129, lesson 9 (syllable crunch) there are missing syllables that make it impossible for you to pass the level. Have restarted a few times but no success. We're having to remove the app from the tablet whi

Videos are not playing, and there are multiple issues with the games. My child has earned eggs to play games, but the games do not load. Instead, the eggs disappear as they are used to play but nothing comes up on the screen or the cards for example will not flip over. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and ensured it is up to date, but several bugs persist in this version. Can you suggest

Began very well and was impressed. After a week or two the app kept freezing, restarting and being buggy. Paid for first month subscription incase the bugs were down to my L.O getting through the levels too quickly for a free trial. The problems persisted and now she loses lives and boxes fill for clicking the correct answer meaning she's repeating the same thing over and over until I force restar

Audio drops in lessons — parent ends up reading aloud for the child

Voice-over cuts out, especially in math; kids can't work independently

changed our reading game for sure. would highly recommend to any parents who value learning.

Awesome content. I have used so many apps for my kid's learning and this is the best one overall. Theres so many games and fun ways to make a kid understand addition and subtraction and skip counting. I read a lot of reviews about glitches and other technical issues. Thankfully I didnt have any of those on my phone except that it logged me out every few days. The noise didn't bother I love the men

I like reading eggs

App opens as a browser tab and makes kids log in every single time

It's a web wrapper; kids have to sign in fresh on every launch

Very helpful for my Granddaughter with learning difficulties. Her journey starts. Super helpful when I had a few difficulties trying to get started.Thank you customer service for your patience and guidance

my brother likes your game when he was little he got a trophy for winning your game!

this helped my child practice her reading and math skills too very good for your child to practice at home.

Broken on Android tablets and Chromebooks

Often won't launch on tablets or Chromebooks; reinstalling is the only fix

it keeps on taking the muney even if u delete the app.

Seriously you guys need to sound balance the dialogues cut scenes in the app, instructions are not loud enough yet cartoon bits are way too loud. App is so buggy sometimes touch gets stuck! Fix it please!

I dont like it.

Switching between child profiles and the parent section is a mess

Multiple kids can't use it smoothly — profile switching glitches and logs everyone out

it doesn't allow me to let 2 children use it at the same time

my brother likes your game when he was little he got a trophy for winning your game!

I too easy

Too many distractions: library, shop, market

The clutter scatters focus; parents want a direct path straight to the lesson

my kid qas really bord 1 star

struggling to login keeps spitting back the error login failed

This Reggie surprise adventure has helped me learn the proper etiquette to reading. The Reggie-licious action in this app has shown my the way of the eggs. Now, I have been thinking to become one with Reggie. I want to become an egg. I highly suggest installing this Reggie-ful learning eggs-perience to learn the ways of the great Reggie. Sincerely, Reggie Lover

Placement test misses the mark — too easy or too hard

Level detection is imprecise — advanced kids are bored, beginners get overwhelmed fast

struggling to login keeps spitting back the error login failed

it was the best game ever in the whole world the game is the most best I like this game•From Tim

amaze ing

Characters mock mistakes — kids get upset

Wrong answers trigger taunting animations; kids need encouragement, not mockery

it keeps on taking the muney even if u delete the app.

my kid qas really bord 1 star

awesome

Repetitive lessons bore kids who already know some reading

The format gets stale fast; great from zero, but weak for kids with any prior skills

Amazing

l love this 5 ✨😇😻💞

decent app, but horrible audio normalization. The fluff parts and sound effects are annoyingly loud and the times when you have to hear the speaker to do the activity are super quiet.

Small font in books, texts too complex for young children

No font-size option; library books contain vocabulary that's too advanced

update - its not my devices causing the sound issues as I have tried using it on various devices, samsung, apple, lenovo etc. also I have been looking in the library for books to read for my son who is 5. NONE of the books are readable for a 5 year old. they all have too many difficult words please fix major sound issues. for example the videos are extremely loud but then the activities are really

I'm not paying money

Parent section and payment details are easily accessible to the child

The 'adults only' area has no lock — a child can accidentally trigger a paid subscription

it keeps on taking the muney even if u delete the app.

It is horrible

I initially reviewed this about the inability to turn the in app sounds off and the idiotic nag message trying to make me unmute my phone for the best experience. The sounds serve zero purpose for parents other than to annoy the user. A year later and they are still there. They also hammer you with spam marketing emails, and turning that option off in the app does not stop them. The service is ok
