Scammy. This app used to let you scan plants for free and the *other* features were part of the paid subscription. This app is unusable now because it forces you to choose a subscription when you try to upload a plant photo. Totally useless now. And no- I don’t want to do a measly 3 day free trial nor pay for a subscription when the features I once enjoyed now cost a fee. Goodbye!

App is no longer free to use.. I attempted to use the app today, only to realize there was no way to exit the subscription prompt anymore! Very disappointing, I had used this app since it was named NatureID, and I used to love it. A shame that paywalls are on everything nowadays.

Only works if you pay for subscription…. This app has completely stopped supporting the free version and no forces you into an endless cycle of making you sign up for either the monthly or yearly membership. Super disappointing because I used to love using this app to identify plants or check how they’re doing. If you’re not interested in paying the $20 a year or $6 a month, then there is literally not a single feature you can use on this app. I would rather they just make you pay for it up front but they hide this fact under the guise of it being free. I would give it a 0 star rating if I could.

No Longer Free. Hit cancel hidden top right. Now it cycles over and over pop ups to buy. Hit cancel. Pops right back up deletes your photo. Hit cancel. Take photo. Pops up deletes photo. Will not let you use the app without paying a membership. The app says free plant ID.

No longer free :( NO ID POSSIBLE W/O SUBSCRIPTION. App used to be free with the option to have a premium version. Sadly it’s been updated and you have to pay for premium to use at all. I used this app for ages to ID plants in my yard and sadly that is no longer possible
