   App not loading now after recent update. Ever since the most recent update, the app has been completely unusable. It won’t load at all, crashes, or says error connecting to server. I can’t use any of the features anymore, and it was working perfectly before the update. Please don’t just respond by telling everyone to contact support. There are clearly bugs introduced by this update that need to be fixed. Please fix the app instead of giving the same generic response to every review.

   Fix your app!. The app was just updated & now when you open the app it just stays on the opening page of the Car Fox. Then the app will just close itself. Every time this app gets an update, it never works & then it takes weeks for a fix. This is beyond ridiculous.

   App stuck on loading. App is stuck on loading. I deleted it and redownloaded the app multiple times and it is still stuck on loading. I’ve tried it on my other devices and still the same issue

   App does not work. Cannot load my garage I’ve been using for the past year. Any time I try to add a vehicle or access my garage I get an error server cannot be reached.

   Crashes. I’ve been using it for years but after one of the more recent updates, I lost all the data I’ve registered over the years. Now anther problem, in the past 2 weeks, the app crashes every time I try opening it. I tap on the icon, the image with the fox appears on the screen and 10 seconds later, the app just closes. The app isn’t very good keeping track of the mileage and once every 1-2 weeks I open the app to update the mileage and to also add the maintenance, but I can’t do that anymore because I can’t open the app.

   Bs app. I added my vehicle based on the vin everything looked right except for the miles. They’re showing I had 150,320 miles, meanwhile odometer shows 104,020. I deleted my vehicle then tried again then it showed 250,320 miles……..

   Does not work. I down loaded this today and was entering information for one of our vehicles. The information was on the tires we purchased. The App keeps changing the miles I entered for when we purchased the tires. It doesn’t do a whole lot of good to have tire rotation reminder when the starting mileage us incorrect.

    CarFax App completely ignores my cars’ model!!!!. Please fix the trim level on my 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance. After an update over six months ago, the app automatically changed my Model 3 Performance to a Long Range, and won’t let me change it back!!! Please fix! 4/24/26- This issue REMAINS unaddressed! Please fix this issue ASAP, as the app no longer recognizes my cars’ model, and is therefore completely useless!

    Fatal flaw. I use to love this but somehow an external entry was added to my records that added 60,000 miles to my car I cannot fix or delete it. So now I can no longer add entries because the app won’t let me put the proper entry. Customer support is basically nonexistent! I have tried multiple times to get them to fix this. I must now look for another app and delete this app

    Great app when it wants to work. I’ve used this app countless of times and it’s been great honestly. Recently though for the past few months, I’ve spoken to customer services and anyone who could help fix this issue but the app doesn’t want to open. I click on the app and it stays on the screen with the fox. I can have great service be connected to WiFi or have bad service, the app always opened but now, it never does no matter what I’m connected to. How can I use the app if it doesn’t want to load??

    Became a useless app. Won’t allow you to add a later receipt. Junk! This is ridiculous! Can’t add an older mileage because the app is dumb. The date is two months ago but won’t allow it. The app is just like the fax! Useless. It means nothing anymore. No one cars cares! The image quality of receipts has become so low that you can’t read them. Why give us an option to save them, and compress them down so much they are un-legible. This is so frustrating because I wouldn’t have throw them away if I had known your app was not reliable. That’s okay—never again!

    Mileage removed, forced app updates and puzzles?. I am very unhappy the mileage for each service has been removed. What was the point of taking away information. I know it’s there but the app doesn’t show it. Give me back my data! I get more frustrated with this app. It just gets worse. At a busy gas station, I now have to “update” the app before I can use it. And why would I want to complete puzzles while others are waiting. This app is interesting but far from necessary, and I’m losing patience. This is one of those apps that becomes LESS useful as it is updated. I just tried to get recall info using the VIN I added to the app specifically for this purpose. It inexplicably replaces several of the numbers with ***. You can literally walk up to the windshield to get this but these clowns have “obfuscated” it. Every time it forces me to login at the gas station, I hate it just a bit more.

    Inaccurate and unhelpful. Used to be great for tracking recommended maintenance. Then it randomly added 50,000 miles to my vehicle and refuses to correct it. So now my car will forever be inaccurate on mileage and recommended maintenance.

    Cleared out all of my Vehicle history. This app was working very well for a while. I really appreciated being able to more accurately track my gas mileage, get reminders and recommended services that are more conservative than the manual, and adding maintaining accurate records without all the clutter. However, I recently had to login again to the app and it did not have my vehicle saved. I thought, “Okay, when I add it back it will pull all of my fill-up records.” NO. It cleared ALL of them, and even claimed that I’d driven 15,000 miles in one year on my 1.5 year old tires…completely incorrect. I’ve maintained my vehicle extremely well and it’s frustrating that the app I’ve trusted to keep my records failed to even do that. Do better devs, keep backups or something. Being logged out occasionally for security purposes should NOT clear all records kept.

    Delete info. Every time I put in my info on stuff done buy shops and by me with pictures this stupid app just deletes in I have emailed support about the issue you get no freaking response so unless you go to shops that use carfax this is not a app to use find one that won’t delete your info and will actually respond about issues

    App lost all my data. I’ve been using this app for the past year to track my own maintenance. The latest update logged me out and when I logged back in, all my info was missing including all my vehicles. It’s like I never had an account.

    4.1 is awfull. It’s completely ruined by this update [4.1]. Garage page looks so bad now, I’ll probably never use it again (unless they revert back to how it used to be) 😱

    Login does not work on app.. In order to log into my account through the app, I get redirected to a web popup whose buttons don’t respond. I tried clicking both “Log in” and “Sign up,” and neither responded to anything. I turned off my vpn and that still didn’t change the outcome. While I don’t mind using the website, it’s more convenient to have an app when possible. Your site shouldn’t be that buggy, especially when you’re a decently sized company. Please implement a login feature that does NOT redirect the user to the web version. It’s unconventional.

    App Features. The concept of the app is really good however there’s one feature that makes it so hard to use it to its full potential. I have older receipts of past services that I was hoping to input into the app but they it doesn’t let me change the mileage at the time of service if the most recent service has a higher mileage. This makes it really hard to accurately track services and I have to add the correct mileage to the notes section.

    Update bug fix. Since this app was updated I am no longer able to access my account. Every time I try google sends me an email asking if I recognize the device I’m signing in with and your app tells me that my session has expired.

    Updated app erased all my records. I have used this app ever since I purchased my new car about a year ago. I was using the car care app to track my mileage and all my service records. My service records are still there but ever since the app updated yesterday I cannot login on the app And no longer have access to the fuel tracker. I have sent an email to their Support team but have not yet heard back. This is very frustrating and I’m tired of using apps from Companies that just don’t care about people. Once they got us looped in they change things up and ruin our information and then sell it to other people so we get a bunch of scam calls and texts. I am very upset!!!. I do not recommend this app any longer.

    Just deleted it. I’ve used this app for years, but it’s become incredibly frustrating—especially when it comes to something as simple as updating your car’s status, like a smog check. Just deleted it. Not coming back.

    Good idea, poor execution, keeps getting worse.. I like the idea of this app. I use it to keep track of maintenance on all my family's vehicles and the fact that they automatically populate (most times) is super helpful. However, there are numerous bugs and downfalls. Oftentimes it will get the most recent service for an oil change/tire rotation/tire replacement wrong and give you the wrong service reminders. This isn't because the service wasn't reported, the app just sometimes thinks that "tires balanced" (or similar) means that the tires were replaced too and you have to go in there and correct it yourself. That seems like a silly little error to me. They also seem to keep taking away features with updates. Now in the "glovebox" the VIN is partially obscured, why? I need my VIN for things and I used to be able to go right here for it. I can't see title/ownership history past my own ownership anymore, including everything before I titled my car in a new state, even though everything before that was me, as it's 1-owner. Why are you taking away features???? That's not how updates work!!! I suppose it's to encourage car shoppers to buy an actual report and not get by with the app which shows a good chunk of the info that would be on a report, but maybe if your reports weren't FORTY DOLLARS for ONE REPORT more people would buy them. The most recent issue I'm facing is that a member of my family just titled their car in a new state, which I did with my own car a little while ago, and now the app keeps asking me "do you still own this car?" and no matter how many times i click "yes", it will continue popping up and their car is not on my app. I don't want to bite the bullet and press "no i dont own it" because I have a bunch of manually entered data for that car going years back that I don't want to lose. I kind of wish the app just worked and there weren't all these bugs in the first place! To be fair, it doesn't help that the state we changed our car titles to has reported it both times to carfax as "new owner reported" when the owner is the exact same as it was before, just at a new address/in a new state. Can't wait to contact the DMV and deal with that. Oh yeah, and it seems like only 1/3 of the time does a shop put service records in correctly. I have had records with incorrect mileage, showing work that didn't happen, not showing work that did happen, etc. It almost makes me wish I never downloaded the app, because I'm realizing that Carfax may not be all that reliable and it's annoying having to go through support to get records corrected. Carfax is a great idea but it is just so flawed. You would think they would have it figured out, being around as long as they have.
