   Dont use. I currently have about 55 USD trapped in my base wallet because the app is not allowing me to send and gives a very generic error message. I spoke with support who said that they were going to put me in an email thread and I've not received any email since that Last communication do not put your money in base Wallet. Find another app. Like trust wallet.

   Scam. Don’t use this app. I had 300 XRP. The app stopped working. I had to delete it and reinstall it. I’m very organized with all my passwords. I logged back in it was all gone

   Bad. Messy app. The in app bankrbot no longer works. There’s no more base posting. Copy trading when away. And now my portfolio PnLs disappeared. I’m going to transfer my bags to a legit wallet/app that cares about its customers and the U/E instead of high fees and pushing premature tech features.

   The bridge of USDT to USDC is sucks. I transfer Usdt to my Base app, but it didn’t get USDC. I feedback to the team to refund the amount. 5 months passed, the issue still hasn’t been resolved.

   Stupid Bugs. Dumbest trading app I have EVER used! I’ve lost $200 because my account was on hold (for no reason) and I couldn’t sell my crypto.

    Possibly the worst Crypto payment system ever created. I have no idea who decided that in the year 2026 to create the most incomprehensibly flawed, broken, and convoluted transactional system for crypto in its entire history. Forget if you're even a novice user, it almost punishes anyone who's ever used crypto in the last decade. This app should be deleted and have its ashes salted for the most cumbersome, unnecessary, superfluous, and convoluted thing I've ever seen. It's like they want to permanently make crypto transactions the most impossible, broken, flawed. Even if you have the right address, it's always trying to pressure you into just using the base network, which in most cases doesn't work right. Across all sorts of vendors, meaning that your payment never is received, and you are suddenly in some support email chain thread at best, like hell that doesn't get resolved. It's like everything that you could do to create friction and frustration. Do not use this app completely. I don't claim to Coinbase because this app shouldn't exist.

    Wants Eth, to be a wallet.. You have to pay a network fee to setup a wallet, this is the biggest scam I have ever seen. Use MetaMask, Coinbase is a complete joke. Also they sent 12k in ape coin to the contract address when I tried to mint my Otherdeed, they screwed me so hard and said “That’s not our fault” when there was a dozen other coinbase wallets that’s got screwed. Stay away at all cost if you value saving your assets. SCAM

    Erased everything, lost my money. When the app updated, all my funds got lost and my wallet address changed. The recovery key that I used still showed zero funds. Something went wrong when the update happened.

    No option to create a wallet or add one. Could not find an option to create or add wallet when I created my account. Customer support is so hard to get and you have to keep chatting with bots and agents and they won’t resolve any issues at the end.

    H1B slop. Just more garbage made by Jeets with a Claude Code subscription. I can’t even send money because the network setup dialog is broken and won’t let me confirm. Really incredible, one job the app needs to do and somehow it still fails! Well done Sanjay, Ramesh et al

    Cant transfer anything. I have a few hundred dollars in assets that i guess are just locked in the app. I always get an unable to sign transaction error.

    virus protection. I’ve been getting random, weird messages from Coinbase, and now, when I open the app, my antivirus warns me not to click anything in the app, which is concerning since I can't access my account. Coinbase says they’re aware of what’s going on, but they have nothing to remedy this Security concern.

    Terrible. This app is a mess. It hides your bitcoin assets as if they were stolen. Shows different totals almost randomly. Doesn’t update the available assets after a successful transfer consistently and then shows various errors. Just a mess.

    Does not deserve a star. Tried it for awhile. After a couple months the app forced me to update to make further trades. In updating, lost all assets I had. Which wasn’t much, about 50 bucks. No way to retrieve, no support to help. It’s a scam.

    High fees. They have no sponsored free gas on Base. They used to, but now it’s expensive to do anything on Base. And they are doing nothing about it. Estimated fees are shown super low but the final real ones are orders of magnitude higher. Beware of Base.

    Miss old version. Base is not intuitive and force its network. I was happy to update my app and get a better experience as advertised. I was even able to transfer my crypto from Coinbase using on-ramp, really easy. Then I went to make a transaction and the trouble began. First I kept getting told that my ETH was in Base so I had to upgrade my model/account which I didn’t want to do. Then I found out I could toggle off base mode which I did. I thought my issue was resolved. It wasn’t. I send my crypto only to discover after the transaction was made that it was sent on the Base network and not ETH even though I sent ETH. I later read that Base is a new layer of ETH but not all recipients can receive on this network. I had no warning no popover confirming that I was sending on Base and not layer 1 ETH. As a first time user on the new platform you would expect some type of customer support prompt to inform and then it’s on me for what happens next. All to say I lose ~$29 worth of ETH. Not gonna break me, but had this been a higher transaction it could have really impacted me. I truly love the Coinbase brand, but this experience is going to make seriously reconsider how I manage my crypto moving forward.

    Update Lost My Crypto Access. App automatically updated, logged me out, erased my biometric data, and I lost access to my $35,000 in crypto. Have talked to customer support seven times and now they’re telling me it’s basically my problem if I didn’t make a passphrase. I originally made Coinbase Wallet from and it told me passphrase wasn’t necessary due to having biometrics. I have spent over four hours with support and nobody has helped me regain access to my wallet. Would’ve been nice if you guys sent out a series of emails and text messages telling people to back up their stuff the update came out. Now you’re not accepting responsibility. I will be moving forward with legal action.

    Overly complex and confusing. UI is confusing, settings are a maze, security is disappointing. They inundate you with splash screens at the start with zero clarity about what is pushed. Then there is their "Base username" where they charge you in secrecy without telling, for an address replacing one I already had. OUTRAGEOUS. Terrible experience, app cannot be trusted, which is the worst that can happen in crypto. AVOID.

    Unusable. The app use to work, but now when I try and open it just spins forever. I deleted app and reinstalled. Imported my wallet with the recovery words and it was stuck again spinning while ‘importing wallet’. The app is unusable

    I believe they’re covering up data breaches, money laundering and fraud.. I had data breaches on my previous account on the old app, after buying nfts through the in-app web browser that had executables for smart contracts I didn’t authorize. I would regularly see large transactions in the ledger for ~$500,000.00 worth of transactions for Solana to accounts that weren’t mine. I called customer service about this at one point and they were extremely dismissive and rude and said it was my problem to deal with since it was a custodial wallet. I also reported it to the FCC (I know they’re a joke under this admin but what can you do?). Since I knew I wasn’t going to get help with it, I unlinked my main Coinbase account from the wallet. I got an email from crypto.com today asking me to confirm a sign in, I don’t have a crypto.com account so I called their customer service and they believe it may be related to a data breach they had and they asked me what apps I used. As far as I can tell my old account and my identity have likely been stolen. I didn’t lose any money since I cashed out once I realized it isn’t a safe investment but I am absolutely going to sign up for any inevitable class action that gets thrown there way. The Crypto industry sold itself as a secure way of doing business but it’s being used by criminals to launder money with next to no oversight or transparency from the people running the apps.
