   Lemon. Sinch 2.5 1 year old 5000 miles 3200 1st motor maybe 800 on next 400 on 3rd now 4 th motor at 200 miles is starting to click, was told by customer service I put to many miles on to fast and at the rate I ride motor was considered a consumable , LET THAT SINK IN…? They sell bikes am I right, the aveton app is full of 4 and 5 mile rides people post, the bike I have and from what I read, this is a problem with 500 watt AVETON motors

   Great Bike, App and Updates are a problem. Alert system doesn't work.. While I'm very happy with my Level 3, the app has been extremely problematic. The main issue is a bug that affects the notification system when the bike is tampered with. At first the bike would send alerts to the phone but the alerts would not trigger and sound. As a result, this rendered the feature useless as you had to be looking at you phone to be notified. This problem was finally fixed after months. However, the last update has not rendered to function useless once again. Not only do I no longer receive sound alerts, I no longer get alerts of any kind. This is a serious issue as the system was a selling point for me. Aventon needs to get this right, and I can't for the life of my understand why this is so hard.

   New update stinks!. The new version will not allow me to login with my Apple account. And my pairing doesn’t appear as a result

   I can no longer support this brand. They previously allowed increasing max speed, only to force remove it. The bike fights AGAINST you trying to go any faster with pedaling. I can no longer support this brand due to their decision to roll back previously offered adjustments to the bike.

   App only uses metric. The idea that you must have your bike turned on in order to view your stats in miles is shocking. Once you turn off your bike, the app reverts to KM for everything. It kind of makes the app pointless for reviewing your rides and stats.

   App not tracking rides in Lock Screen. Recently the app is no longer tracking my rides when my phone goes into Lock Screen mode. Never had this issue before and prefer to lock my phone and have live tiles on so my battery doesn’t die while riding my bike. Please fix this issue.

   Changed speed. I downloaded the app recently for my bike and when I tried to change my max speed from its original 33mph limit. It instead locked me at 28mph and my bike no longer goes as fast.

    Initial config failure. Initial configuration where you register and add serial number failed and now no way to add that manually.

    Worse than the first version. Will not stay connected with the bike it looks good when you begin the ride and a few feet in and it disconnects. Very disappointing. Maybe it’s because I have an earlier model bike but the version before this worked so good. And this version now just frustrates me so I’m going to use map my ride instead. ☹️

    iPhone battery killer. Please fix the power the app uses. Recent update kills my battery from 100% in about an hour. Brand new phone.

    Not staying connected. I have had my adventure bike for 2 1/2 years. Several times if not most of the time the rides don’t fully record. Most recently in the last couple of weeks, the ride keeps disconnecting over and over regardless of how many times I restart the ride. It doesn’t pick up from where it left off. You start back at zero. I’m not sure if something in the app changed recently, but it is not good. Hopefully the developers can fix this. If it is a known issue and I need to make an adjustment please let me know. I am on an Apple phone and haven’t changed any of my settings recently.

    28 mph is STILL A LIE. And no Aventon, the Soltera two will NOT still assist you in attaining a speed of 28mph. That is yet another lie! The second my peddling speed hits 20 mph the electric motor IMMEDIATELY STOPS HELPING AT ALL. You can instantly feel this change, AND the bikes display screen, which clearly shows how much effort the electric motor is putting in, also IMMEDIATELY reflects this drop to ZERO ASSISTANCE. Stop lying!!!!

    No elock?! App is 3-years late. Even cheap e-bike and scooter apps have elock as a standard feature. It’s a very basic feature that costs nothing to program. Yet Aventon is too cheap to do it. Shocking.

    What happened to Ride Tune?. Only part of the app I’ve ever used was the page where you can configure exactly how much ‘help’ the different levels have - which is absolutely needed as Aventon’s default Eco settings are what I would consider Turbo. Between the required login and now the removal of Ride Tune, the app is worthless to me, and the value of the bike as a whole is diminished.

    Won’t scan QR code. Love the bike, I downloaded the app and tried to scan the QR code on the frame and it will not scan.

    App ok customer service poor. I read a lot of reviews on aventon’s customer service and it is that bad. Sent an email for an issue and was told by a bot that response time is currently 5 days, not good but now into week 4 with no reply

    Unable to get the screen to come up. I am unable to connect my phone to the Bike, which is the Pace 500 version three I cannot get the screen to come up on the bike that says anything about pairing. This app is terrible and it’s a shame too because the event and Bike is really nice.

    Rude service. Lady made accusations that just because i didn't report issue with my bike earlier that i was faking it, i don't know if i will ever purchase anything from them again. The day i got the bike the brakes squeal and don't stop right, this company is kind of a sketchy company ,wouldn't recommend if they keep acting this way. Not my fault they cant make a bike properly. The bike has decided to freaking launch me into traffic the error message went away and the motor would not stop i was at a very dangerous intersection……..

    Avoid at all costs. Aventon e bikes are hot garbage, and unfortunately the person downloading this app will not realize it until they have already purchased the bike.. I HAVE SPENT NEARLY $3000 on 2 E BIKES BY AVENTON THAT DO NOT WORK!!! Buy trek, Lectric, ANYTHING! Just avoid Aventon… app was decent but the company is terrible so soon it followed suit.

    Crashes every time mid-ride. When I first started using the app it worked for a while and then I guess it got updated and it never works at all now for recording rides and crashes every time the middle of a one hour ride

    Do use while riding. 301 miles bike great app no good accept to increase speed. 3 times I used app it turned my bike off when far from home. Had to ride back with no assistance. Third time was able to turn on bike again but have learned not to use app anymore. Do not recommend using app while riding

    Aventon why????. My app updated and limited my bike to 28 mph instead of the previous 32 mph max what a complete diss appointment Also hav had the bike for 7 months zoom breaks are in complete failure now with normal city commute also a failure… not happy at all

    Can’t Sign Up - App just spins and must be forced quit. I just ordered my bike today and downloaded the app to sign up. Unfortunately, after submitting my info the app just sits and spins like it’s thinking. I have to force quit the app.
