   Subscription BS. Every time you enroll a kid in the app you have to select roadside assistance. Then it hits you for $5/mo.

   WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME. Me (16) and my dad got rejected from the DMV today because a box that we were supposed to tick off was not checked (we were getting a learners permit) After that horrific DMV experience we call aceable saying our expirience and we get redirected to a random guy from India. That’s fine, but the thing is, HE WAS THE WORST GUY WE COULD’VE TALKED TO. He told us information we already knew and told us to go back after we had JUST BEEN REJECTED, saying “we had the right information” and also said we had to pay 10 bucks, and RESTART THE COURSE IVE SPENT 6 MONTHS ON. We had to call some other company because of how unhelpful aceable was, they were genuinely worse than the DMV, that has got to be an achievement no other company has claimed. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!!

   Aceable student. This app was working great I was halfway thru my course then it stopped working out of the sudden it froze in one of the course and it dosent let me continue this is upsetting because you pay for the class for you not to be able to continue

   Not Worth an Arm, Leg, or Even a Left Hand Side Air Bag. The app is frustratingly buggy, logging in constantly fails, and at times it completely locks you out (for months). It’s difficult to use between phone and computer, making the course unnecessarily stressful and non-versatile, whatever you start logged in on STAY logged in on or risk being locked out. Customer service is unhelpful and rigid, offering no real solutions when trying to fix your course issues, and seeming more interested in collecting money than assisting users, wanting you to buy an entirely new course if time runs out, even to extenuating circumstances. I cannot recommend this app. Especially don’t buy it unless you have a perfect track record of free time and 0 family emergencies because if you don’t complete the course, you basically get robbed! 0% moneyback guarantee.

   I can not order my PTDE program guide after 1 1/5 moths. After paying 115 dollars and needing to buy a PTDE form to get started with my permit there ordering page is down so I can not work on get my permit unit I get that form

    The system is very bad.. Even though I attended class every day for 9 days, my progress is only 73%. On two of those days, the system kicked me out of the class after the first 10 minutes because a question appeared asking for my name, and I selected the wrong answer. For the past 3 days, it first allowed me to attend for 3 hours, then only for 2 hours. Now the allowed time has expired. Moreover, I haven’t received any response at all.

    Don’t download. Was a good app until I realized that they’ve been charging me 5 dollars a month every month without my consent. I got my permit with this app in march of 2023 when I was in highschool and they still charge me even though I haven’t even opened the app in over 2 years, also they make you request to cancel you CANT cancel anytime you want

    Doesn’t teach you what you need to learn. The app has a stupid robot that makes jokes half the time, which makes everything take way longer than it should. It also doesn’t teach you about 4-way stops or DUIs before taking the test to get your permit, which are very important to know if you’re going to get even close to passing. I’ve wasted so much time on this app and failed my test because it didn’t teach me what I actually needed to know. Thanks Aceable.

    DO NOT USE. Use other online application options or best case go in person. Worst possible app you can use. At the end you are not prepared or knowledgeable. Sure you might get your license but at the cost of your safety. Would never recommend.

    it said 3.5hrs of the course per each day, i’m on my 8th day and still had 4hrs left. The course was great overall, very instructive. They explained each scenario comprehensively.But i’m in a hurry to grab my license. Don’t do this course if you’re in a hurry to grab your license, do in person or find another course.

    Allstate charges can’t cancel on mobile. I apparently chose the option with the free trial for the Allstate insurance. That’s fine. What’s not fine is that you can’t cancel it on the website if you’re on mobile. The website is stuck with a pop-up that is cut off and only allows you to click a blue box that keeps the subscription. I’ve tried on both Firefox and Chrome as well as different phones. This needs to be fixed.

    Terrible. Won’t let me log into my account with my correct email and password for it apparently being wrong. Then try to create new account with same password and email it said was wrong and it says account already exists. Had problems from the start creating an account and buying the teachers taught guide. Do not recommend using this app for your kid.

    Unauthorized Charges Beware!. I signed up with Aceable for their driver’s education program, but to my shock and disappointment, they enrolled me in Allstate Roadside Assistance without my knowledge or consent. I never approved or opted into this service, yet they charged my credit card on file for it. This is a clear breach of trust and feels like a deceptive business practice. No legitimate company should be adding services and billing customers without explicit authorization. I expected transparency, not hidden charges. Shame on Aceable for allowing this to happen. I’ve contacted customer support to dispute the charge, but this experience has left me deeply frustrated and questioning their integrity. If you’re considering using Aceable, check your billing statements carefully you may be paying for services you never agreed to.

    DMV. Do not get this app I bought the 70 dollar plan and on April 4 I finished the whole course and it’s been well over a month and I’m still haven’t received nothing, I have sent out two emails to them to get a refund and they haven’t responded to them and I want my money back because it’s been a month 20 days that I haven’t received nothing. I don’t want them to try and mail it to me because it takes to long.

    No course contents. I just paid for the account, created login info, but when got in all there was just course introduction parts, there’s absolutely NO course contents to study. However there are practice quizzes. So am I being cheated on? It’s not like it advertised on the website. Or perhaps I am experiencing technical issues???

    Horrible for Mobile. I took their course to get my permit and completed the whole thing, including the needed in the 50 question test you need for the DMV to actually receive your permit. Never once after the app said I completed the entire course did it say that was just a practice test and there is another test I needed to take. Apparently you can’t take the test on mobile so they don’t tell you you need it. Now after waiting hours for my appointment I have to wait another month for my next one because now I need to go home and take the real test. Horrible planning on their behalf and my permit will be affected.

    Broken Questions. The questions sometimes will change the answer order after you submit and mark them incorrect. I have the screenshots. Eg. The correct answer will be A. I select A and hit the submit arrow. The answer comes back marked incorrect, showing that I picked answer A, but now the correct answer has been swapped into B. Answer A is now whatever ludicrously incorrect thing was in B before you submitted. Reply to dev response: You should work on your reading comprehension, because that's NOT what my review says. Questions with CORRECT answers inout are marked INCORRECT after your app changes the answer order after submission.

    Horrible Preparation Tool. Used this apps practice tests for weeks to get ready for my upcoming permit test. There were questions on the real test that weren’t anywhere on the numerous practice tests I had taken. If you’re a teen looking to study for your upcoming permit test, just read the DMV Handbook. It will have all the information you need with images and clear instructions.

    Non-inclusive. This app has been running for way too long to not have even the more recognizable states like NEW YORK available to practice, and they should specify that most states aren’t included somewhere here so we don’t download this app just to be disappointed.
