   Not what it used to be. Don’t know what happy to this app, but it’s impossible to listen to. It won’t hold where you stopped so you can go forward the next time you open it like it used to. Sometimes it just stops after one chapter. Sometimes the voice changes. Not useful to me anymore.

   No longer a good app!. I used to really appreciate Bible gateway! I will never ever use them again because their ads are ridiculous unless you want to pay!

   REMOVE TPT. Not interested in an app, that promotes (by allowing it on your platform) the misuse of scripture and condones the plagiarism blanked in the text of The Passion “Translation”. Shame on you all for your continued silence. That silence has been heard loud and clear! Deleting my account, deleting the app and not looking back!

   Disappointed. This was my go to bible on my phone and with the new update it won’t even open.

   Why is there a subscription?. God gave us the word of God and salvation for free. Why are humans charging for using and learning the word of God? I am just trying to read and learn about His Word and suddenly i get an ad. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW DISTRACTING THIS IS WHILE YOU ARE SEARCHING A VERSE OR TRYING TO READ AND UNDERSTAND GOD’S WORD. ITS UNBELIEVABLE HOW CORRUPTED THE HUMAN IS. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO DO SUBSCRIPTIONS AND MICRO-TRANSACTIONS, AND GET MONEY FROM PEOPLE, YOU SHOULD GET A PROGRAM BENEFIT FROM THE GOVERNMENT WHERE THEY CAN SPONSOR YOU OR WHOEVER OWNS THIS. THERE SHOULD BE OPTIONS FOR DONATIONS. DID JESUS CHRIST CHARGE THE HUMANS FOR ETERNAL LIFE? HE DIDN’T AND HE DID IT FOR FREE BECAUSE HE LOVES uUS. IF I KNEW HOW TO MAKE APPS I DEFINITELY DO IT FOR FREE SO EVERYONE CAN KNOW AND READ THE WORD! NOT CHARGING PEOPLE AND ADDING ADS MAKING IT FRUSTRATING FOR THE READER.    Not so much for the app itself as the website ad filtering. This morning, I opened the website to find a scripture in another translation. Multiple ads popped up containing photos of a nearly naked woman for a lingerie company. There are ways to filter ads. You either don’t care enough to be intentional about that, or you’re not well enough informed. I highly doubt the latter consider how well known and big this website / platform is. I’m not offended by seeing the female form, but I’m disappointed at the thought that this could be something a brother in Christ, a young child, or someone else struggling may see. Please do a better job of filtering what companies come through on your the websites ads, or don’t have pop up ads at all.

   Horrible. For years I’ve used this app and now I can’t get it to open on any of my Apple devices. What’s going on with it?

    No. No. No. This app has lost all value.. Whatever the update in the summer of 2022, this app has become worthless. Constantly dropping out, unable to stay open, losing track of scripture. I’ve complained and complained, but no one is listening. Prior to the recent update, I loved the app. Have notes for the past 10 years that I will lose - that’s just how bad the app has become. UPDATE 3/2024 It’s unbelievable that the update that ruined this app can’t be reversed. I’ve been in touch with admin (Kyle), but the issues have morphed into other issues. As I look back, it’s been over 5 years since problems came with some ‘update’. 5 YEARS!! How in the world can anything be so bad that after 5 years it’s worse than it ever was? I’m still trying to use the app, as there is no alternative to it. Besides, I have notes that go back to 2012, and I can still access them while reading the scripture in another app. UPDATE 6/1/26 14 Years of taking careful sermon and study notes, they are completely 100% gone. I tried reaching out for administrative help 2 months ago - no reply. So I have deleted the program from all my devices. I will never recover from the loss of so much information, shared with my children and grandchildren as they struggled with Christianity vs the world. Documented prayers and discussions, all gone.

    Changed app and it’s terrible.. Can no longer view Bible with this app. Completely unintuitive. Bad design.

    Completely Disfunctional. New format is terrible. Totally unable to navigate the site, lost the use of parallel comparisons, unable to easily change translations…need I go on. I have used the website for years but absolutely hate what you did for use on a device.

    I really dislike this update. Can you all Please change the app back. Sometimes simple is better and in this case it is !! The audio doesn’t work the same any more and the search is weird. If you change the version to AMP , you can’t listen to the audio Bible at the same time . When you scroll to a new chapter , the audio turns off . I hate the update and according to the comments a lot of other users do as well. Please change it Back !!!!!!!!!! Get your money back from who ever did the new design for you all

    Worst update (and format change) in App history. The recent update and new format has ruined the functionality of a good app. This, combined with the fact that it is riddled with ads, makes the app about as useful and enjoyable as trying to eat a bowl of ice cream with a toothpick. Just deleted my account and uninstalled the app.

    Suicidal update. The new format has completely destroyed any semblance of a functional app. A complex maze which one cannot find anything. What was the use of changing the layout? And then removing once free features in order to lock behind a paywall is completely erasing any desire for using this app. Did they forget what Jesus told the Jewish moneylenders in the temple?

    What happened?. This major redesign is truly disappointing. While early versions of the app were without question the best of all Bible apps, it went downwards over the years. I lost all my notes, with this latest release have lost all my highlights several hundred. On top of that, this app has lost its best feature the reading view. Different font and just plain text.

    They’ve Changed to much!. I have been using this app for years and years! But it’s changed so much in the last year or two that I can no longer use it for my verse for the day. It’s very difficult to navigate and will not switch to different verses easily. It wants to stay on the same verses and if you copy to paste, it will take all your previous clipboard copies and paste them too! Not user-friendly, looking for another app… not to mention, they added commercials that are a pain, you have to wait to exit out of each one of them. Not good!

    Do Not Like. I loved the app, have used it faithfully for several years. I chose a different reading plan every year and used the commentaries and maps often. This year I started the plan “The Beginning”. When the upgrade went in, my reading plan was lost, I cannot find resources and the app doesn’t even retain my audio listening place. I’ve very disappointed and have emailed my frustrations many times with no satisfaction. I’m looking for a new app.

    Search Filters!!!. Bring back the search filters!!! At least the New and Old Testament filters. That is the literally the only reason why I have this app. Now I may just delete it and use the Bible app.

    Huge Ads. I understand you need to make money but having a huge ad on your home screen that takes up about a third of the screen is not a good move.

    Deleted. I am another who enjoyed this app for 4 years. I do not like the drastic change. It is not easy to navigate like the old version. I have, sadly deleted.
