   They trick you into a subscription. I cancelled in the middle of the day my trial was to be made into a subscription. They had already billed me! I am furious.

   I tried to cancel same day I started. I tried cancelling my subscription to this app the same day I got it because it’s basic games not really teaching and that’s not what I was looking for. First they tried charging me $59.98 and then $39.98 when I emailed them and it was said that it was cancelled. This app is a RIP OFF!

   Frustrating lack of ability to private message app developers. I did not get motification that my trial was nearly up, first notice I got was the charge to my account, which was on a different card than the one I entered details for so I’m really confused and frustrated. The accountant drew the almost $40 from was one I strictly use for utilities and rent and I am now short o. My payment pls which will mean automatic disconnection of my water, which is not okay at all, with me being a single mom of three I really can’t afford mishaps like this one. So I promptly looked for a way to contact the developers and ask for refund please, but th section for help with the app does not allow for direct contact with them, only provides what is essentially a faq page, no contact inf. If there was I wouldn’t e forced to write this negative review, because I do like the app itself it is just out of my budget and was an unexpected draw on an account it shouldn’t have been connected to in any way!

   Charged before end of trial. I wanted to try this app. I figured I had 7 days I used it a few days decided it was not all that and decided to cancel it. They however had already charged my credit card before the end of trial and now it takes forever to get my money back!!

    Don’t download. Repetitive words and they won’t send you a notification to cancel if you do a free trial they’ll charge you and won’t refund you. App is not worth the money . Free trial not worth it. They just want to get paid.

    I don’t want this app. I tried to request a refund via Apple support (they denied it)and I don’t see how to do so through the app. I am pretty sure I did not get a reminder to cancel my free trial and now I’ve been charged for an app I am not going to use and deleted off my phone before the trial was over.

    A Sham. This app pulls you in believing it’s a freebie, but there’s a cost which is not disclosed until the end of their spiel. Don’t waste your time with this app because there are other options to building your vocabulary.

    Awful. WordPal sounds like a friendly little sidekick, but in practice it’s more like a parrot with a thesaurus and no idea what it’s talking about. The app’s approach to teaching new words- dumping a bare list of synonyms on you without first explaining what the word actually means, is baffling. It’s like being handed a map with no legend and being told, “Good luck, adventurer.” Learning doesn’t start with guessing; it starts with understanding, and WordPal skips that step entirely. Even worse, once you stumble through the meaning on your own, you’re rewarded with… the same thing again. And again. And again. The repetition isn’t reinforcing; it’s numbing. There’s little sense of progression, no meaningful expansion of material, just recycled content dressed up as practice. For a tool that claims to build vocabulary, WordPal wastes an impressive amount of time saying almost nothing new. If words are supposed to open doors, this app mostly just rattles the same locked handle and calls it growth.

    Too easy. I selected expert and still found it too easy. It also kept repeating words I already correctly identified as if the app doesn’t have enough difficult words to choose from.

    No thanks. The app requested an approval for a 7 day free trial and I x’d out of the panel. It said thanks for signing up for a free trial. Wait what?! No. I closed the app and reopened and it asked me to accept a cheaper rate. Then I could not find my profile or account or anything that would put me in touch with them without giving them my email. Don’t do it. Find a free source for vocabulary building. And yall better not charge me anything, nada!
