  1. ★★★★other

    Dissatisfied. This app sucks

  2. ★★★★missing features and integrations

No bad habit tracking and No Apple Watch support.. I’m dissatisfied with the app. I purchased only to find out that it does not include bad habit tracking, only requires you to use work around. The app also does not have an Apple Watch app. Please integrate these and I will update my review.

  3. ★★★★missing features and integrations

No notifications. This app doesn't have notifications. So there's no way to get notified when to log a habit. I don't understand how this isn't a feature.

  4. ★★★★missing features and integrations

Very confusing. Way too much going on for something as simple as tracking “habits” the app is eye appealing, but anyone who wants to use it should not go through so much trouble trying to understand it. I still haven’t figured it out and I will be deleting after this review.

  5. ★★★★one-time purchase vs subscription

$2 a month. Too pricy for me, twice the cost of same subscription on android.

  6. ★★★★★one-time purchase vs subscription

Subscription. Must pay to track more than 4

  7. ★★★★★missing features and integrations

Almost perfect - Few updates needed. I first downloaded HabitKit in the ending of March 2025. I bought the lifetime premium version. When I first downloaded the app, it didn't have an option for putting your own emojis for habits, which was really frustrating. I'm very happy that they finally put an emoji update. I was tired of using a dog bone for my seafood habit. My issue with the new update is that you can't change the skin color of the emojis. It's also disappointing that you can't choose a set of Crayola like colors for your habits including brown, instead of the preset pastel colors that is given. No true red or solid purples just a pastel palette for everything... I also think that the counter for 1, 5, 10 , 15 shouldn't be there. I think that instead the only option should be to set your own number of "Pages read" for each habit. It would look much better for the eyes that way. Or at least give the option to turn it off and only have your own preset number. I also think that the HabitKit wrapped should be worded better and upgraded. Besides those things, this is a decent app for habit tracking. I do also believe having a bad habit tracker section or page would be great, and helpful for separation of good and bad habits. Plus not being able to sync to iCloud is hella wack. I can only give 2 stars because I know it could be better.

  8. ★★★★★missing features and integrations

Could be SO MUCH BETTER. I know the app isn't abandoned, but it feels abandoned. No cloud sync or cloudkit. No Mac app. No bad habit mode that automatically checks off days. No custom icon support (icon library very limited). No custom colors. It just feels abandoned. With a couple weekends of work the developer could be making double what they are making now with a few tweaks. C'mon!

  9. ★★★★★no sync across devices

Needs sync. Seems good, but with no cloud sync, it’s not very useful to me.

  10. ★★★★★missing features and integrations

Great UI, zero integrations. HabitKit is a bit misleading, as you’d think ‘kit’ would imply some possible integrations. I would love to tap an NFC tag and log a habit.

  11. ★★★★★no sync across devices

Amazingly Simple but Effective. However, desperately needs an account and sync function because habits do not sync across devices.

  12. ★★★★★missing features and integrations

Good idea. Should make a Mac app and give unlimited habits for free. Other paywalled stuff is fine but leaves functionality for free users

  13. ★★★★★simple, thoughtful design

Instant behavior mod. Literally making me drink more water and workout more and do more healthy things because of how rewarding the colors and boxes are! I’m obsessed! I only just downloaded it, and I never write reviews for things, but this just deserved it. Also LOVE GitHub and coding and I can totally relate to the people who developed this app! Probably gonna purchase for life.

  14. ★★★★★missing features and integrations

Streak is not a true streak. The streak is not a true streak, as it doesn’t reflect the number of consecutive days you’ve maintained the habit without interruption. It’s simply the total sum of all the days you’ve completed the habit, without counting whether they were continuous or not.

  15. ★★★★★one-time purchase vs subscription

This app isn’t “the key”. I went into this thinking that this would be the app of all apps, that it would solve all my habits issues, it doesn’t. I spent something like $30 to get it on my homepage for a year(stupid, right?), and it does what it’s supposed to, but not much more

  16. ★★★★★missing features and integrations

Nice but limited app. I like this app, overall nice concept and interface but not all of my goals are a binary yes/no outcome. Would be nice to track goals that are performance based, where I could enter an number and the chart will reflect performance relative to the goal figure, above target would be more saturated below target lower color saturation (ie audit 10 customers per day, input is actual # audited could be > or < goal)

  17. ★★★★★missing features and integrations

Great for Daily Habits. I really like the app, but I didn’t realize until subscribing to pro and adding in lots of habits that it is only set up for daily habits. Being able to schedule habit frequency of twice a week, or schedule for certain days, is a significant element in most habit apps, and it’s really important to me. I don’t want to do 100 habits daily. The categories are great… more like tags. Good that you can have multiple, so you can tag as “health” but also tag as “AM Routine” in order to habit stack.

  18. ★★★★★home screen widgets

Fantastic app, bad update. The app still works as advertised and is wonderful, but now the widgets on my Home Screen change colors with the time of day and seemingly that can’t be changed. The theme in app can be changed but my widgets now stick out like a sore thumb against my background for half the day. Can we revert to the old update?

  19. ★★★★missing features and integrations

Need Apple watch widgets. Please add option to check things off from apple watch.

  20. ★★★★one-time purchase vs subscription

Absolutely Love!. I love this app for tracking my habits! I’ve tried other apps and none of them were as good as this one. I like that I can choose a dark background and because of all the bright colors, it looks beautiful. I have the PRO version and o definitely think it’s worth the money, and it’s not expensive at all. I can track as many habits as I want to, and I can archive them when I want to stop tracking them (but it doesn’t delete them so I can “unarchive”them if I want to start tracking that habit again. I would like to suggest a couple of things that I think could make it better…first, I’d love to be able to set an alarm for my habits to remind me to do some of them. I’d also like to have a bigger color selection to choose from. The colors it has are beautiful and vibrant but I’d just like to add some more shades (because I track a lot of habits). I love the icons too, and the fact that I can reorder my habits at any time. All in all, it’s a fantastic app and I use it everyday! I’d definitely recommend for EVERYONE to get the pro version, and start tracking your habits! I’ve gotten a lot more consistent since I started using this app!

  21. ★★★★missing features and integrations

Pretty good. I wish it had the ability to toggle which habits have a longer-term view individually. Some habits don’t need to be done every day, and those I’d prefer a longer-term view (like monthly) but I’d get confused if I was looking at my daily habits through a monthly view.

  22. ★★★★missing features and integrations

,). в статистике за год процент выполнения считается с начала привычки. а хотелось бы чтобы весь год считался

  23. ★★★★simple, thoughtful design

Simple and great. I really like the simplicity of the setup and use interface.

  24. ★★★★no sync across devices

best I've tried, but no sync across devices. Intuitive and good customization. All of my goals are x number of times per week -- not daily nor tied to a specific day of the week. The numeric streak count for weekly goals is strange, so I don't use it. But at least the graphical boxes can show me if I'm where I want to be or not. But I really wish that the app would sync across devices!! That is the one feature that I'm sorely missing.

  25. ★★★★one-time purchase vs subscription

Good. It’s a good app! I have the pro version and as much as I enjoy it, I do not feel that the pro version should cost as much as it does. The app does not have enough features to justify the $13 pro. $5 or $10 would be more acceptable. Also, there is a fixed amount of colors that you can make your habits that you’re tracking, and of the 21 available colors, 4 of them are just different shades of grey. I really wish there was access to a color wheel or something so you can select more colors. The blues and greens that are available are way too similar. I, and I’m sure many others, need a lot of visual variety when tracking habits like this. And when you’re tracking over 10 habits, it gets difficult to visually distinguish between 4 shades of grey and 6 shades of mildly different blueish green

  26. ★★★★no sync across devices

Great but lacks cloud syncing. Really great app but lacks cloud syncing which seems crazy for an app entering 2026 and is the main reason I am hesitant to pay for the premium subscription. I also don’t understand how the app counts streaks for “x times per week” habits. I’m on a 12 week streak for a habit I started 8 weeks ago.

  27. ★★★★home screen widgets

Nice App but Lacking. I really like this app, it reminds me of GitHub but I wish the widgets allowed me to see more then one habit at a time, or gave me a overview.

  28. ★★★★missing features and integrations

One of the best habit tracking apps - but NEEDS iOS Reminders integration and maybe APIs exposed ?. This is by far the most visually appealing app. I was actually going to develop my own app which was similar to this, where it had the altair heatmap chart. But this goes beyond my initial idea and also has step counts/tiered counting. Moreover, the ease of completing a task with a tap, setting of reminders, color coding and the availability to switch between three different views is exactly what I needed. This is way better than todoist, it is simple and intuitive. Most other apps have a lot of clutter and have too many details and clunky interfaces. One important feature that is missing though is its integration with Calendar and Reminders. Not just that, PLEASE expose APIs to interact with the data, this would have a limited use case, but still could be very useful. For example, one could ingest their daily step count and automatically mark a habit. Another example is that say if I want to block a particular app unless I do X, it could allow it to do so. Lets say that I have a habit like “no scrolling videos in the morning for 2 hours”, I should be able to enforce this and mark the habit only when certain conditions outside the app are met - I know this is a little outside the scope of this app and probably would fit into another “habit enforcer” app that could integrate with this, but in any case this requires REST APIs to be exposed. I would love to partner with the dev and work on this idea.

  29. ★★★★home screen widgets

Widgets. Why no widgets? I downloaded this app because I wanted to make a habit for coding and track my progress even on the home screen. My favorite part about apps are the widgets, and I don’t know why you have to pay just to use widgets. I really like this app, but isn’t the no widgets without subscription thing a bit overkill?

  30. ★★★★no sync across devices

Great app, needs syncing.. Really great, functional app with beautiful widgets. Does its job in an easy to use, visually pleasing way on my phone. Once it gets an iPad app and iCloud syncing, which the dev says is on the roadmap, it’ll be a 5-star app!
