Beware. App states 3 day trial then charge. It charged instantly on day 1.

wildly overpriced for such insanely limited features. i was so disappointed and almost dejected by how unhelpful this app is. you download and open the it and immediately it’s telling you to give them money for a monthly subscription. if you pay, only then can you even look at it or use it. the daily mood tracker’s only selections are just varying intensities of happy and sad. literally your only selections for heightened moods are “psychotic mania, mania, exuberance, happiness, neutral” and the only ones for low moods are “psychotic depression, depression, mild depression, sadness, neutral”, and then after that you can check off “sleep disturbance, loss of appetite, irritability, exercise, medication, talk therapy”. this app is so frustratingly basic it honestly gives the impression that whoever made this just open mayo clinic and skimmed the page for bipolar. bipolar it isn’t just happy/sad/ irritable/psychotic like this app has narrowed it down to!! what about hypomania? what about unspecified bipolar? what about mixed episodes and mixed states? what about even just bare minimum of letting you track how much sleep you get at night?? and they seriously expect you to pay $40 for this.

Payment required. How are you going to make the app free to download and then require payment before being able to use the app. It’s a such a disappointment to think I found a helpful app to help be proactive with my mental health only to be shut out at the door. I understand having a premium version, but it’s very misleading and soul crushing to download an app for free when none of the features can be accessed for free.

Extend the free trial!. Hi everyone. I like the app functionality but the free trial period is not long enough. I am a father of two little boys ages 8 and 5. I have bipolar disorder and tracking my mood is vital. If I’m not vigilant in managing the symptoms I could kill myself or others. Bipolar is a serious brain chemical condition. The “owners” of this app need to desperately extend the trial period before making those with bipolar pay $40 since this app could help save lives and the jobs of those who use it. The $40 is not affordable for tens of thousands of people with bipolar disorder. To the owners: PLEASE EXTEND THE TRIAL PERIOD! Your work on this is a great thing for humanity. Please make it free or extend the trial period if you must charge us so more people can use it. I want to share the app with my wife so she can monitor my condition as well. But I need to check it out before spending $40 USD. Thank you, Jeff

Three day trial is a scam. For someone with bipolar, such a short trial and automatic purchase is predatory.

Not free. I was excited to get this app until I found out that it’s nearly $40 a month just to track my mood.

Premium access for review. Don’t like having to write a review on an app I know nothing about, just for premium access.

Sad Face. Not alot to offer for the price. Not able to customize Moods. Not helpful at all using another app

It’s ok. It could be better, their should be more personality traits to choose from.

Way too basic. This app is not worth paying absolutely anything for. The moods are way too basic. It only gives you a choice between happiness and depression or variations on the spectrum of the two. But with bipolar, there are so many different moods and symptoms. For example, today I feel very energetic and a little bit irritated but I don’t feel any bursts of happiness. I am sleepless but my high energy level does not mean I’m super happy, and it doesn’t mean I feel bad either but it’s still a sign that I could be heading towards a hypomanic state. There definitely needs to be a variety of symptoms that are rated as opposed to only a general mood, because the whole point of bipolar is that you don’t realize if you’re starting to get hypo manic or manic or not. Isn’t that the point of this app to track your symptoms and get a better idea? The app does ask you if you took your meds or not but it should ask you if you took your meds on schedule. Because it’s hard to tell on your own if they’re a big changes when you don’t take your meds on time and that’s some thing I think many of us would like to track. The last thing about this app that makes it worth absolutely nothing is the fact that you can’t track how many hour you slept. I can say that I have a sleep disturbance, but it still matters exactly how many hours. I could write that in the notes section but I would like a chart to grasp that as well. I’ll be deleting the app and seeing if I can find a better one.

Review. You want me to write a review to unlock but I can not give a review until it is unlocked.

Mood tracking as a form of psychoeducation. This application serves as a valuable tool for enhancing self-awareness, an element shown in psychological research to support the treatment of bipolar disorder. I have found this to correlate with my studies in an abnormal psychology course I am currently enrolled in. Through features grounded specifically in the practice of psychoeducation, the app enables users to monitor their mood fluctuations, recognize early warning signs of mania or depression, and identify potential triggers. By developing greater insight about their behavioral and emotional patterns, users can take proactive steps to manage stressors and maintain stability between mood episodes. This increased self-knowledge has been associated with improved social and occupational functioning, as well as a reduced risk of relapse when used alongside professional treatment, and it has also been shown to be helpful in monitoring the severity of manic episodes and avoiding potential triggers. Overall, the application offers a constructive adjunct to therapy, by promoting user engagement in their own symptom management and reinforcing the principles of psychoeducation. But unfortunately, due to the monetary limitations within this application, improved accessibility would be necessary to improve this application’s functionality.

Functional But Limited. Full version is wildly overpriced and blocks you from accessing your own data. The incessant bothering of the user to write a review is extremely annoying, too.

For therapy. I used this app to keep track of my mania for therapy and it works pretty well if I remember to log my moods for the week

No dark mode. Seems cool, but needs dark mode

Feedback. The only thing I would like to see differently is being able to make a note as to what may have affected my mood. I’m not sure if that’s an option if you pay for the app.
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
Needs a wider range of moods.. This app is nice and does a pretty good job at logging and tracking my moods. The charts are easy to read and kind of pretty to look at. One major problem though is the small range of possible moods. It jumps from exuberance to mania, when I really feel there should be another level in between the two. I also think that the free extra trackers should be slightly different. I think a free tracker for anxiety, stims, and psychotic symptoms would be great.

I had came back to say that was sorry.. I was lacking A Peaceful Quality of Meekness.

useful app. The idea of this app is awesome and something that could really help me track what’s going on. however, i think the daily moods need to be able to be personalized like the activities are. neutral, happiness, exuberant, mania, psychotic mania just isn’t how my scale is. everyone’s spectrum is different so that would be helpful!!

Review. I really do like this app however I do wish they offered more emotions because sometimes my sadness isn’t sad but it’s more irritation.

I love this app. I really like how easy it is! Customizable and simple. Only thing, I wish I could share my progress with my partner and parents in real time. It would help with my health!
