  1. ★★★★ads disrupt the experience

Tochi Diary 📔. My bestie, Diane, & I don’t like 👍🏼 this health care app cause it has too many ads and u have 2 pay 💰 2 get a new 🆕 animal 🦔 And it’s not entertaining and/or interesting 🤔 The best self-care is the Finch self-care widget app cause that’s what fun 🤩 educational, entertaining, and interesting 🤔 And that app deserves 2 be recognized and it also has an Editor’s Choice award 🥇 unlike 👎🏼 app!! This app is terrible 😣!!!!

  2. ★★★★ads disrupt the experience

very frustrating. there are so many ads i find this app to be unusable. i tried to delete it after the first day and it refuses to let me delete my account. i click “delete account” and watch the buffering circle spin for minutes and minutes with no result, so i have to force close the app. i JUST made this account - it should not be this difficult to delete. saw an ad for this on youtube but it’s not worth your time and money if it’s not going to work. will not be recommending to anyone

  3. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Waste of money. Premium subscription is supposed to open all features it does not, highly disappointed and feel tricked

  4. ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

I LOVE this app, but I'm running on an older version. Terrified to update. I don't like the new UI at all. I much prefer the 'Mood' 'reflection' 'stats' 'journals' 'profile' bar at the bottom compared to the tacky hideous bar shown at the top of the screenshots now. Is there a way to toggle on the old UI if I update? I was thinking about becoming a premium membership but I won't if it's like that and hasn't been updated to be a nice medium. I also loved the floppy laying down pink hedgehog 😭 Super skeptical over the new designs. Hell if all my emotions I've made transfer over and I don't loose my account id update and go premium with no complaints if there was a pink hedgehog in cottagecore clothes or something red.

Excellent App Terrible Support. Tochi Diary is my favorite journaling app. It's features are so helpful. I especially appreciate the mood tracker and the stress tracker, which allows me to track not just what's stressed me out but also how it manifested in my body and small victories I've experienced. HOWEVER, I purchased the premium version of this app to get rid of ads, and suddenly in the last month or so, I started seeing advertisements again after tracking my stress!! I have left feedback on the app twice, and I reached out to Tochi Diary via email for support. I NEVER HEARD BACK, and I am still seeing ads despite paying for this product. In other words, I am not receving what I paid for. It is extremely disappointing, and I would be willing to change my review IF TOCHI DIARY CONTACTS ME AND FIXES THIS GLITCH!

  6. ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Just why?. The app was good before the update where you have to pay for the feature that literally brought so many to the app, the mood bubbles, you can’t have custom ones anymore for some unknown reason?

  7. ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Tochi diary. Terrible app u have to pay for mental health

  8. ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Please Fix Journal Entries. I’ve been using Tochi for 2 years now daily to log and process my day and track my emotions and I love it. But there was an update where you can no longer chose an emotion for you journal entry unless you have premium. But you can’t save a journal entry unless you pick at least one emotion, so now I can’t even use this app for its intended function anymore and it really makes me sad. Please fix this! I would love to keep using the app, but sadly I may have to move on since I can’t journal in it anymore

  9. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

It’s all on the cloud?. Why does everything have to be loaded to a server somewhere? Why can’t we just have it locally on our device?

  10. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Eh. I like the app a lot, but lately I have had issues. I tried to fix them myself, and then I emailed about them, but my email has gone ignored. I have put money into this app, please answer my emails thanks.

Not enough options. This app is adorable and super comforting when I felt something really strong it was nice to vent. But after the free premium trial it only gives you five options for your emotions. I probably would be fine with this if I hadn’t already made twelve other ones that just sit there laughing at me cause I can’t use them. I also can’t even look at my stats which is why I sort of got this app in the first place, so I could track my mental health.. I love this app but there just aren’t enough options.

Could use some adjustments. I think this app is the best thing really. It’s perfect for people with synesthesia like me, and it’s adorable. For me personally, it brings happiness to look at because of the colors and the cute illustration. Though I love this app, I do think it’s a bit unorganized and hard to navigate. The general tracking for overall stats is hard to navigate more specifically, as well as the color customization for emotions. Like I said, this app is perfect for people with synesthesia, but as someone with a wide range of the condition (especially when it comes to color-to-emotion/memory-processing), I’d like free customization of colors for emotions! If anything put features like the colors on the hedgehog in the premium subscription instead, things that aren’t connected to the tracking of emotions. Aside from those things, I think it was a great idea and unintentionally suited for people like me, which I think is awesome. <3

I love it!. I love it but the cats cost money or you can watch an ad I’m pretty sure to get the 100 but I love the app and it’s really cute on the other side

Almost Perfect. Being only my 2nd full day using this app, I have to say I really like it and can see myself using it long term! I really like the visuals with orb and cute characters, and the soft colors and fonts are nice to look at too! It almost feels like a combination of journaling (noting your moods and having space to write) and posting on a social app (being able to add tags with fun emoticons you can customize). I find myself having a good time adding to the mood orbs and especially the tags, but i have some hopes for the tags menu. Improvments I hope to see would be: - More Edit-ablity, itd be nice to have the possibility of editting your name, the groups for tags, and the tags. I make spelling mistakes sometimes! - More emoticons/ pictures for the tags, i dont find myself using any of the diet or exercise pictures, but if there was more animals and nature related ones I'd use them! All that being said, I've already recommended this app to 2 of my friends 😂 Very well done, thank you for making something cool 😊

Great idea but... This is an amazing, adorable app. The only thing about it was there was so many ads to buy premium It was hard to enjoy the function of the app. I had an good experience overall, but I would love to have less advertisements in the future.

Very cool. Tochi was really helpful and cute! Imaginining a porcupine laying down on a floating ball is so cute! Other than being really helpful, there was a bug\ glitch where it spammed my notifs an out saying it’s time to reflect and heal and it wouldn’t stop until I deleted it. Other than the bug, I would highly reccomend.

Love it! Just one issue. I just downloaded this, and it’s already one of my favorite mood tracking apps. I do genuinely love everything about it However, I think stats being a premium feature is a bit much. Most mood tracking apps use stats as a basic feature, and theme-related things as premium features, which I find reasonable, because the purpose of mood tracking apps is to track your mood over a long period of time. I feel there’s no point in journaling if you can’t see how it has changed over time. Of course, I understand the need for the developers to make money. You guys need to earn a living. But instead of making an important feature cost money, why not add more UNimportant features, such as, say, more theme-related stuff (maybe a font option?) and make THAT cost money, so you can open up more opportunities for people to make use of the mental health features without having to pay? Of course, I love the app how it is and how free most of it already is. You guys did an amazing job. It’s just that one feature that kind of bothers me. Thank you for valuing mental health!

Use this app daily and love it…but. I use this app every night to decompress and sort through my emotions and it’s really helpful. One thing I do have to suggest is having a way to get rid of the diet entry. As someone who has struggled with eating disorders and calorie counting before I can be triggering to see. I’m not saying completely take it off the app but have the option for the user to decide if that’s a good entry option to have for them!

Accessibility issues and other feedback. I would love to give 5 stars but can’t. There are major accessibility issues for blind users. I use voiceover for the iPhone and this app doesn’t work with it really at all. I also think there should be crisis support added to the app like crisis helplines or a safety plan tool

Most creative mood tracker. I’ve tried so many mood app trackers and usually just end up not finding them as useful and forgotten. What sets this app apart and why I love it so much is how moods and reflections become a story and how they are organized in life chapters, such a cool concept! It truly feels like my moods become in itself beautiful memories to cherish and look back on. The app is also helpful in understanding what emotions I’m going through which other apps I feel lack. Also it’s oh so very cute! Lifetime subscriber here, thank you again for developing an app I didn’t know I needed!

  23. ★★★★★the app helps achieve the intended result

My review. I like the app it really has helped me track and make minor adjustments to ease my stress.

  24. ★★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Wonderful!!. Adorable and wonderful way to track emotions. Reminders are not always on time, but the app is super helpful!

  25. ★★★★★the app helps achieve the intended result

Just what I needed. This is a great journal app, with some adorable features that help keep track of self care. The free version is awesome already, but I recommend supporting the creators as the paid version is a license and reasonably priced! Plus it adds great features for mental health tracking and mindfulness, plus some cute stickers and decorations. It’s truly helped me on my journey!

  26. ★★★★★the free version provides real value

Awesome app! So cute!. Tochi Diary is a great app. I love how you can use mood orbs to express feelings. The journaling is great! I use the free version, and it is awesome. I can’t imagine how great the paid version is. Tochi diary is such a well developed app and idea. I will continue using Tochi as a diary and pick me up. Thanks again for making this nice app! The creators couldn’t have done a better job of making this app. So cute! ❤️❤️❤️

  27. ★★★★★the app helps achieve the intended result
