  1. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Very confusing. As someone who doesn’t even know any Spanish but I want to become fluent seeing random words on screen then seeing “yo” or “cuarto” outta no where with no English explanation or context.

  2. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Stop charge. No way to delete, and make sure I’m not charged. Write a Review button worked but contact button didn’t. Don’t want to be charged for this.

  3. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Buyer be aware. Bought one year subscription but wants me to subscribe again. Won’t let me restore my subscription

  4. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Seriously?. Why are the majority of the verbs and their definitions under the paywall? Do you really want people to learn or are you all just trying to pay rent? There’s plenty of free apps you can use that will give you the definitions and conjugations without forcing a paywall in my face. Don’t waste your time with this app unless you have money.

  5. ★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data

Wrong. A lot of the conjugations are incorrect

  6. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Paywall. I bought this app a while back before there was a subscription service implemented ! Now everything is behind a paywall - I want a refund !

  7. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Mistake on my part. This seems to me to be a good tool for people who already know Spanish. As a non Spanish speaking person I’m completely lost on this app. Very few instructions. And the lessons are in Spanish, for example “pretérito imperfecto”. What is that? Why not put that in English and Spanish? Confused and disappointed

  8. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Garbage app no better then a Thesaurus. You open the app and then.... nothing immediately a word in front of you with no instructions as to what you are supposed to do. No real lesson or pronunciation test to gauge your understanding or retention of anything. How are you even suppose to learn? Just read a bunch of words and pray you remember them and how to use and when? Might as well download a translation app for all the good this app does which is nothing. UNINSTALLED!!!!! Edit in response to developer: it is not a conjugation trainer, it is a glorified Thesaurus. Where is the training in your app? It’s just lists of words. I made no mention of it being a translation app so that makes no sense in your response to me. I stand by my review. There is no need for me to sugar coat the glaring imperfections, and that it is not at all as described. Like I said, where is the training portion of the app?

  9. ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Please Help!. What is your email to contact? I am having trouble, and when I hit the “contact us” it takes me to my email, but it does not input any email address.

  10. ★★★★★a needed feature is missing

Really Great.. Almost. I REALLY wish there was a back button. I tap thinking it will go backward and it just moves onto the next word!! And I can’t go backward- PLEASE GIVE US A BACKBUTTON

  11. ★★★★★search fails to find what is needed

Be different!!!!!. I appreciate that the app provides conjugations with verb tenses, just like all the other apps out there. However, I noticed a significant gap in allllllll of these apps: the absence of the actual English translations alongside the conjugated verbs. Including translations would make it much easier to understand and memorize the tense conjugations. For instance, in the future tense section, it would be beneficial to see phrases like "I will speak" or "you will speak" directly paired with the corresponding conjugations. This simple addition would greatly enhance the learning experience. Currently the user has to memorize what each tense means in order to know what the word in each tense category means. Please make this easier for us!!! No other apps offer this feature, so I encourage you to differentiate your app by implementing it. It could significantly improve usability and effectiveness for users. Thank you for considering this suggestion! And when you make this insanely simple change…. I will change my rating to 5 stars because you will have a feature that I cannot find in any other apps

  12. ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Not Very Helpful if you’re brand new to Spanish. I wish the app provided examples of the conjugations used in a sentence. If you’re new to learning Spanish or more generally bad with grammar you’re not very likely to have any idea what Preterite/Imperfect/Past Progressive and what not mean with the context of a sentence. I like the app but won’t be using it until I gain more of an understanding of grammar structure and expand my vocabulary in Spanish.

I would really appreciate landscape mode on iPad.. I saw another review expressing the same concern and your response to address it. However, the app still doesn’t support landscape mode for me.

  14. ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Obvious omission. It would greatly speed things up if i could search for a word instead of annoying scrolling

  15. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

No translation. I did not know the English translation of the very first verb. Will move on.

  16. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Good but could be better. I learn languages best by repetition; I wish I could repeat practice verbs that I miss.

  17. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

No reflexive verbs. This app does not have reflexive verbs, which are important in Spanish conversation

  18. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

    Prof. Great

  19. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Good app with a couple of missing details. Great for practicing different verb tenses and conjugation patters. The app would be five stars if it included reflexive verbs and required prepositions with the verbs.

  20. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Too many missing verbs. I presently use this app. It’s OK, but even with the pro version, too many common verbs are missing. SpanishDictionary.com is much better, and I’m talking about the free version.

  21. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Somewhat helpful but lacking. I appreciate being able to see the tenses and test yourself on them, but I wish they described what each tense is, rather than just named it. If I don’t know what an “imperfect” verb is, now I have to look it up along with all the others and memorize them before I can really get the most out of this app.

  22. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

im just confused. i imagine this is a good app but i really have no idea what im supposed to be looking at. youre showing me 3 different words and not really explaining the connection to it. i dont know what im learning. no help either. instantly confused and uninstalled.

  23. ★★★★★a needed feature is missing

Great, but not on iPad. Still looking forward to that update. I’d totally use it, but I’ve a keyboard on my iPad and this app has no landscape mode. Please add landscape when you can. Thanks.

  24. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Recommendation for makers of this app. For people trying to learn. Spanish, ONE important change I would do is write the translation in English at the bottom or top somewhere. For example “present” tense. “Yo Hablo” Somewhere at the bottom the translation needs to be seen “I eat” . This is VERY helpful visual in memorizing verbs. This needs to be done with all tenses. Why make an app and leave the translation out ??????? Makes no sense.

  25. ★★★★★no native language support means entire markets are cut off

Missing one key element that would make it phenomenal. This review is based on just a couple minutes with the app, but that’s all I need to see its immediate glaring flaw: it desperately needs example sentences. I’m not a grammarian, so while I have a good intuitive grasp on grammar in my native language, I don’t necessarily know what “present perfect subjunctive” *means*. Thus, the material is not going to stick very well and isn’t going to be very useful to me if I’m not getting hints on when I would actually use X tense. Of course, I could probably watch a couple Youtube videos to refresh myself on the names for the different tenses, but there’s so many here that I’m inevitably going to struggle to remember all of them, and it introduces an unnecessary 2nd translation layer (i.e. academic jargon to colloquial intuition). The solution is really simple and would be highly effective: provide example sentences on every flashcard. That would transform this app from a moderately useful tool to an indispensable necessity.

Where is the audio for infinitives?. I’m just starting to learn Spanish with a Pimsleur app, but I need additional sources so that I can see how the verbs are conjugated. The frustrating thing about this app is that there doesn’t seem to be an audio recording for the infinitive form. The word is at the top, but no audio track. And the infinitive is where Pimsleur begins when teaching a new verb.

Add More. Beautiful app! Except you should add some nouns!

  28. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Nice app, unusable on iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard. Need Landscape mode support; otherwise on a big iPad it's too much of a hassle to use in portrait mode, especially when using the Magic Keyboard

  29. ★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Almost perfect. I really like everything about it, but wish it did two more things. One would be to offer sentences or phrases. The other would be to allow me to create a personal list of verbs that I wanted to go over. Overall, still great!

  30. ★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

lov it!. love this app! very useful and clean to use. my only issue is that i tend to get the same conjugation for some verbs (ie, i always get past tense "tu" for decidir) when i'm studying the most coming verbs and i want to get quizzed on other conjugations. i am assuming this is an uncommon bug and if it were solved i'd would pay for the app immediately as i can see myself using it all the time!
