   Does not include gender of nouns in audio. It is pointless to use this app if you want to passively learn German via audio. Why? For some reason, the developer has decided to exclude the gender of nouns in the audio.

   Good idea. Bad execution.. Only a few words and it’s missing so much basic words that are needed. Some phrases are not used in real life... numbers incomplete, etc.

   Always says I’m wrong!. I never used this app, and I probably wont ever again, because no matter how accurately I say a word, it says I’m wrong 100% of the time. It’s easy for anyone to say “ja” or “nein”, but this app ALWAYS says I’m saying it wrong – I am not!

   Hands free?. I wanted to be able to listen to German lessons at work. I work in an office and it is pretty simple to do my job and still be able to listen to music or German lessons. The so-called hands free part of this app last about five minutes then you have to get back on your phone and enter in the next lesson. I’ve already got a fairly good understanding of German. Not fluent by any means but I found the lessons even after I paid for the full app to be silly easy. Not at all impressed.

   Useless. Extremely limited vocabulary. Many “groups” to study with only about four words per group, and then the same words are used in multiple groups.

   ..??. Yeah this is terrible, there's no way to know what to do with this app. Glad I can listen to someone say really basic German words over and over again though. You're supposed to be able to record and listen to yourself, there's the little wheel at the bottom which tells you all the cool things you SHOULD be able to use, like the accent inspector, and then.... still all you can do is listen to basic German words? Useless.

    Some recommendations. The app is okay but the price is insane!! Other than that here are recommendations for the developers: 1) Nouns should be shown with their article. For example, it should say “der Apfel” instead of “Apfel” and then a little “m” underneath it. That small change would help people memorize the article so much better and articles are everything in German. 2) Non-nouns should be shown uncapitalized. It makes it more clear that it is not a noun and is a adjective/adverb/noun/whatever and will help people more quickly process it. 3) The bottom bar that you move to show your familiarity with a certain vocab word is hard to access with newer phones, as it thinks you are trying to close the app. Make it bigger and/or move it somewhere else. Also don’t make the bar so exact; three notches of not familar, somewhat familiar, and mastered would suffice. 4. Create a more efficient mode of learning the vocab. Make one where you don’t have to do one word at a time, like a list of vocab words or something. Show a word in German that you have to type in English. Put mini-quizzes like matching words. 5. Make it free, you’ve earned enough money by now and have certainly payed off all the costs of making the app. Universalize education. Feel free to steal my ideas I want this app to finally be worth the money I paid!!

    Hmmm. It's not exactly what i thought it was but, of that was the only thing there was i would use it. Down on the bottom, it give you a word andYou have to try to guess how to like spell it. So... yeah.

    Good for total beginners ONLY. This is probably very helpful for total beginners who have zero vocabulary. But it is totally useless for anyone beyond beginner stage. I thought I could learn more complicated words and phrases. But this app barely shows anything beyond basic basic basic words and phrases. I'm barely intermediate and can barely find anything new in this expensive app, which is also VERY limited with vocabulary and phrases.

    What to do?. Downloaded the App today and deleted it today. I was using it and was enjoying it, but when I needed to get out of it, it continued to play over and over the first 10 words. There is no way to shut it down when finished doing the lessons. What am I doing wrong? There is no main menu to go to and select to quit. What do you do? And really no instruction on what to do for the entire program.

    Instructions?!. The app sounds like it should be good - too bad I have no idea how to use it, and they've followed the no-instruction, ambiguous button model of app building.

    Loved it but Could do so much better. . Most of its categories are locked.but it looks like it would be better if most of them Wasn’t locked. And the practice speaking was as good, recognizing and responsive as Babbel. And there should be a button to add more words when ur done with the ones for The day instead of going back to change the number of words for the day

    Missing Important words. This app is a good start for people who are just starting. I like the way of the layout which makes it easy to manage, and find things. But what I noticed is that there are some basic words missing, for example aufstehen (to wake up), anmachen (turn on). Just basic words like that. Also it is very important to know the pronoun of the words in German, der, die, das (which in English means “the”). Those are crucial to learn the language. I would really like to give this app a 5⭐️ review, but it’s missing too much in my opinion.

    Conversation. Since the vocabulary is the material for the language, the conversation feature using those words should be expanded. More advanced words and sentences with daily applications are missing. Too much redundancy and get bored.

    Herr David. Doing the flash cards has gotten me so far. I have also been doing other basic German Language programs. Some aspects have become frustrating. There are inconsistencies in some words, and especially phrases with other programs. I am a very beginner so am not sure if this is German in general, or if the flash cards contain mistakes. It makes me apprehensive in memorizing some of the flash cards. Please also update and add to the content.

    Pretty good. Probably the best feature is the app automatically keeping track of how well you know a word while at the same time giving you the option to manually overwrite this. This is extremely useful for those words you already know because you can immediately exclude them, and for words you are having difficulty with, you can manually adjust the “temperature” of the word so that you can still practice it often. My biggest complaint is that the gender of a noun is not SAID, only SHOWN. This is somewhat annoying if you want to know the gender of a noun while practicing just with headphones while you’re not physically looking at the app. It would also be nice to say the plural of the noun which the app does not do. Another minor complaint is that the app forces you to set a goal of learning at least 3 words a day. Normally this is good except in cases where maybe you are busy all day and can’t use the app. Then the next day the app forces you to quickly learn new words because it thinks you are behind. It would be useful if this “goal” feature could be removed because forcing you to learn many new words very quickly doesn’t work well Overall however it’s a great app

    IT WORKS. Ok, I'm not fluent but the app is working. I'm able to speak small phrase and understand those same phrase. I actually recognized a few phrase while talking and watching movies with German language.

    Pretty ok. I’ve learned at-least 15 words in only an hour, I’m a slow learner. It’s actually surprisingly good!
