   Why must everything be behind such an extensive paywall?. I was so excited to start learning Georgian, but was incredibly disappointed to find out I can’t even access lesson 2 without paying $30 a month. I would much rather have ads than be forced to pay such a large sum every month.

   Trash app. I got this app because it is one of the few that have the native Philippines language but it doesn’t pronounce it so how to pronounce to words correctly is never going to happen. Then I canceled it and it still billed me. Now I can’t update any of my other apps because I refuse to pay the 30 for this absolutely useless app.

   Taking my money. I was offered a free trial and they lied and are still trying to take the money from my bank account almost everyday. I’ve tried reaching out but no response.

   Charged even though not subcribed. I downloaded the app to explore, and was without consent signed up for a subscription and charged for two months until I noticed and then further denied my refund request. Lingo team later contacted me on 8/14 and hence not responded.

   Deaf. I’m deaf and I can’t hear the sound when it’s speaking to ask me the question. You need to do something about it because I really want to learn how to write the words in different languages. Thank you

   Hard to cancel. It’s $30 a month and I missed the fine print that you have to cancel 48 hours before you’re billed so here I am on May 30 trying not to get charged for June on June 1 and there’s nothing I can do. Don’t want to pay for June but I’m forced to. The app is fine it’s fun but it’s not worth $30/month!

   I give 0 stars if I could. It already had English flash cards after I made my account… It never let me choose a language to learn. In the settings it says “Your language “ but idk if that means my native language or the language I’m trying to learn. I changed it to Nepali cuz I’m trying to learn that and then the entire app was in Nepali except the flash cards were still English??? Makes no sense.

   PREDATORY & OVERPRICED. Useful app but a monthly subscription of $29.99? Are you joking? In what world is this worth it? I’d happily subscribe for $5/month, but their price is pathetic. They’re trying to prey on users who subscribe for the free trial and forget to cancel before the trial ends.

   Lots of errors. I like the concept but I’m studying Somali, and the vocabulary has a lot of typos and inconsistencies. For instance, I see the picture of a sweater, and am supposed to learn “dharka qaar hore laga xirto” which means “some clothes that already been used” not the word for sweater. Mind you this is on level 1.1 for the absolute beginners. There is an error reporting button where you can say what it should be instead, it says thank you. But You don’t see a case opened for your request. Whether it gets read, approved or denied. No e-mail receipt. Nothing.

    False Information. In the App Store description, it shows that Lao is an option for a language. Downloaded the app and it’s not there.

    Don’t Recommend for Sinhala. I tried using this app to supplement my Sinhala learning but I stopped almost immediately when I heard the app pronouncing the words wrong. Luckily I already knew what the Sinhala words for fruits were or I would’ve thought it was correct. Really disappointing from a language app to hear wrong pronunciation.

    Don’t waste your time.. I downloaded the app to learn Albanian and all it did was change the interface to Albanian. I think this is an app for people to learn English, as selecting a language to learn is not possible.

    No Sound !. I was excited to use this app. The series & phrases all look great. When learning a language, I’d like to hear proper pronunciation. Problem is .. THIS APP HAS NO SOUND !!! Would not recommend. I tried dealing with the settings but there’s not even an option to fix the sound.

    Can not cancel my subscription. Downloaded the free trial, and now I can’t find any way to cancel. There is no number, no account management button, and only an info email. The online chat says it is offline every time I ask to cancel. Don’t download this app!

    Not every language available. I downloaded the app because the description said it offered Lao as a teachable language. However, when I opened the app and went to select a language, Lao was not an option!

    Do Not Recommend! This app may work for some people but not me. There is no verbal only interaction. If you are going to pass any of the material and move on in the app you MUST learn to read and write the language. ALSO signed up for the free trial to test it out and they make it incredibly difficult to find a way to cancel the trial before you have to pay for the first month. Still have not found a way to cancel with them either online or in the app. So seems like a scam for money as well and am getting the bank involved.

    Why can’t it be free. I can find any language learning no Nepali apps that are good, and if they are, they cost money. I’m trying to learn young but I’m not trying to ask my parents just to get some premium in a learning language app. Please just make it free. You would probably get better reviews

    Audio feature not available on iPhone. I installed LinGO play on my iPhone to learn Spanish. I do not see the Audio feature

    No instructions or sound saying the word. It was confusing in the beginning because I knew the answers but it was not explained how to play the trivia game there should be instructions given on the way to submit your answer once I got it though it was easy I was upset & frustrated when I knew the answer but did not understand the proper way to submit it

    Tests telling me I’m wrong?. Trying to use another app outside of Duolingo and at first pass, this app enrages me. I specifically had issues with the true/false part.. it was saying I was wrong when I wasn’t, multiple times. How am I supposed to learn more advanced words if you’re telling me I’m incorrect on the most basic words? They don’t even have a support section on the app for me to report it. I don’t know how they charge so much for something so flawed.
