Ads are loud, jarring, frequent, and defeat the app’s purpose. The app itself seemed decent. Limited functionality with the free version, but hey - that’s the ‘premium’ side of ‘freemium’ apps, right? Then I finished my first breathing exercise. I was relaxed! And then an ad started _shouting _ in my ear. What on earth were you thinking? I get that you all still need to make $ off of us cheapskates (though after one session is a bit quick). But with audible, LOUD ads just after helping us release some stress? I can’t fathom how you got your rating, unless you’ve changed your UI a ton in recent years

Pornographic ads. Tiny pictures at the bottom were pornographic

Greed. How much is enough? I paid the required fee to get rid of the ads just yesterday. Today I used the app only to be forced to give a tip! Is that going to happen every time I use this app. If I been notified before purchase I would not have purchased but continued either the ads. Fair and open disclosure should be the practice of doing business of all. Shame on you!!!!!

App doesn’t open. The app hasn’t worked for some time now. Doesn’t open, gets stuck on loading screen. Closing app, removing app doesn’t work. It’s a real shame

Used to be good. The app used to work ok but now the interval beats are irregular, inconsistent, and actually unusable. I have reported the bug twice already and it never gets fixed. Too bad I paid the premium fee.

NEVER SPAM ME WITH A POP UP.. NEVER EVER SPAM ME WITH AN IN APP POP UP ASKING ME FOR A REVIEW. HERE YOU GO. ONE STAR.

Ads. Closing out of literally anything gives me instant ads half the time. I could get an ad trying to open the interval to breathe, and 10s later when I try opening the settings get another one. And I’m not paying for your “ad block”, if anything less people should donate when you’re basically forcing it onto people. 👋

Breaths too fast. Ads are anoying. I find much better relaxation with the Oura ring. I've only done this breathe app one day but I find it irritating and a struggle to conform to the inhalation and the exhalation timing and pattern. I feel like I'm running a sprint to conform to the patterns they are way too fast for my natural breathing . the bell is extremely annoying. The ads are awful. And I am not going to pay 2.99 to remove ads after I pay for a feedback program at my healthcare provider. not certain anything to be done to make this app work for me.

How do you start a session. When I get to box breath it comes up but I can find nothing to push to get a session started! I hate this.

Unless. App doesn’t open after payment, cannot use it.
- ★★★★★ads disrupt the experience
Too many ads. Too many ads
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
It is all about the ads - pay or go away. I am going away - I can count - don’t need an app for that.

Filled with advertisements. Horrible app.. The actual app has potential, but it was three consecutive advertisements when I went to use the app this morning. At 6 AM when I’m segue into the day, I don’t need this. Yes, you can pay X number of dollars to have a subscription. However, I have my own breathing exercises and.dharanas. This would be a waste of time and money.

Not a Wothwhile App. This app is useless to date. I can’t get to anything due to the ads, and I can’t stop the ads.

Notifications gave me more anxiety then the app cured.. All of the notifications that you send out are ridiculously frequent and they gave me more anxiety than your app cured. DELETED

How do you start this stupid app?!. That says it all

Nice app. My other breathing app did not have a box breathing option. Not sure why it wants a tip after every use

Loaded for 10 minutes and never got to the real thing :( sad. I downloaded the app to practice holding my breath, and saw it was taking a little while to load. OK it’s one of these apps I thought that maybe you just takes like a minute or less but NO!!!! this loaded for 10 to 15 minutes and nothing happened the first time I tried and loaded for five minutes then it started I didn’t really want to do the already made cycle and I wanted to make my own so I clicked “back” and my screen froze I exited the app and try it again it loaded for eight minutes then I tried closing it again and retrying this app will never load👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿😞😞😕😕😤😤😤😤😫😫

Paid 1.99 but still get ads. Even though I paid the fee I still get ads

Stops working between breathing cycles. Downloaded few days ago worked well for few days and now stops while breathing exercises is going on. And starts commercials

Too much advertisement. Within a few seconds of using the app, and barely even able to try it out, I’m bombarded with advertisements. I get that the developer needs to make money, but why do ads need to appear every single time I use the control center or go back to make custom changes to intervals before I’ve had the chance to test it? It’s like the developer isn’t even trying to make the app pleasant enough that I would actually pay for it. Instead it’s so unpleasant I deleted it within a minute.

Ads Galore. This app is absolute trash. You’ll need the breathing exercises just to cope with all the ads. 30 secs after opening it and I already wasted 24 of those secs sitting through 2 ads. Straight garbage.

App stops when alert pop up, and ads everywhere. The app stops when alert pop up, and ads are everywhere. I’m mainly upset about the stoping when any alert pops up XP

Tip jar. Really turns me off to this app. I have a feeling if I allowed myself to be extorted for more money once, to make it “go away” it would just reappear in the future. I’m looking for something else right now.

Pay THEN Tip Jar, Really?. iBreath is a nice app, though far from unique. What set it apart was a clean interface, which in the free version was marred only by ads. So I enjoyed the app enough to pay $2.99 to be lifetime ad-free. BUT once you’ve paid, then you’re subject to incessant appeals to contribute to a TIP JAR. My advice: stay away from iBreath. Nice little breathing app, bit there are plenty of free breathing apps to choose from. Getting you to pay to be ad-free and then pounding you each time with a tip jar is a bait and switch. Not good business.

The Starbucks Experience. App does what it is supposed to and so many others do just like it. But after the persistent request to buy an add free version, I give in and do so since it “helps the developer.” Then immediately you are asked to “tip” the developer and this is now the persistent request for more money. If you ever wanted the experience of being pestered by a homeless person in the form of a mindfulness app then this is it.
- ★★★★★ads disrupt the experience
Would be five stars, but…. I really enjoyed the app and decided to pay the $1.99 to remove ads only to realize after every breathing exercise you do they put this “tip jar” button at the bottom of the screen. For me that goes from relaxation to I’m going to be hounded for money after doing something to relax.

Watch app doesn’t work. I like the phone app, but the watch app doesn’t work. It freezes every time in the midst of the session.

Lacking a live count. Users need to focus too much on counting the intervals. A simple second counter to follow the patterns would be so helpful. I find my self focusing on counting than on my actual breathing.
