   Recently battery busted this app. I’ve been tracking this for a few weeks. Sometime recently I noticed my phone getting hotter than usual. I closed all the apps and checked again. It was SC. In this test I just did on a new iPhone 17 pro with AirPod pros and no other apps open in 2 hours of background listening and 1 minute on screen it took 40% of my battery. This is recent as in the last months it’s been like this but totally unsustainable. I’ve been using in the same way for a long time and this is just outrageous. People who stream music while they are out and doing stuff, how do you expect them to just deal with SC taking them for all the battery they have. 40% in two hours without any other phone use, screen off is insane.

   20+ years and all can’t get anything right.. Worst app 2008-2026. Doesn’t even launch anymore and hasn’t for the last 2 years(I HAVE A IPHONE 13PRO.) Made my own cloud library using my own network on stuff I ACTUALLY OWN.

   Ads are unstoppable without payment. SoundCloud always used to have ads. But it was okay when it was once in a while but skippable. If you configure that formula to make ads happen frequently and make them unskippable ? Well… why even bother having the app. Testing the frequency of ads compared to YouTube without premium and found out it’s more useful. Can’t imagine how great YouTube premium if I actually paid for it. SoundCloud is officially gone.

    Worse app ever. Been using SoundCloud for the longest time had no problems with it, but for the past week, I have not been able to load SoundCloud for God knows what reason and it’s still is not working. I can’t even get to the app to report the problem.

    Insane pricing for artists. I have to pay $200 for them To host a few mp3s and don’t even get SoundCloud go with that? What a joke. They just have a monopoly which forces DJs to pay them because it’s the only game in town. And God help you if you have multiple imprints or brands, you have to pay for each of them. Costs more than actual producing

    Too many bugs now. I'm writing this with a heavy heart, and honestly, a lot of exhaustion. I've been a SoundCloud user for about 5 years. Music means a lot to me, and SoundCloud has been a big part of my daily life. So when half of my library suddenly stopped working, it wasn't just a minor inconvenience — it genuinely affected my days. Music is something I turn to to feel better, and losing access to it hurt more than I expected. But what made everything so much worse was reaching out for help. I spent a long time going back and forth with your AI assistant, trying every single step it suggested — multiple times — and getting nowhere. When I finally asked for a human, I thought things would get better. They didn't. The first response I got from a human agent was the exact same troubleshooting steps I had already gone through with the AI — steps that were fully documented in the ticket thread that was right there to read. It felt like nobody even looked at what I went through. So I replied again. I included everything — detailed information about my device, my account, what I had tried, a screenshot with the app version and troubleshooting ID you asked for. I poured a lot of effort into that message because I genuinely wanted this fixed. And the next response asked me for the exact information I had already provided. I don't know how to explain how demoralizing that felt. It's like screaming into a void. I'm tired. Not just of the bug — but of feeling like my time and my words don't matter to anyone reading these tickets. It has now been a lot of time since my last message with no response at all. I've made the decision to cancel my subscription. Not out of anger, but out of sadness. What's the point of paying for something I can't use? What's the point of a subscription when most of my songs won't load? And what's the point of reaching out for help when the support process itself makes everything harder? I really did want this to work out. I hope you make things better for the next person.
