Pro. Needing a pro membership to use what should be basic features is terrible.

Japanese keyboard erases my word when I attempt to move to the next. Whenever I attempt to hit space or the word predict, it is erased

Paid version. I upgraded the version to “pro” and it’s still showing that I have the “free” version. It did take the money out- I’ve exited out of the app completely and still not working. Just got scammed out of $4.33 pretty disappointed.

No support for apple pencil pro. Cannot switch to eraser with double tap or open any menus with squeeze

Waste of time. I used it for a week and while it was nice for a while, I paid for the membership and then the next day it asked me to pay for another membership. So it robbed me of my money and it has no record I ever bought it. Don’t waste your time, I switched to Goodnotes 6.

Don’t use it’s not free. They let you use all features but then out of nowhere make you pay and block image uploaded. I have to make a review just to get it allowed again

Deleted. They started charging the handwriting input method which had a very good advantage over the other apps..

Help. I can’t get help

Terrible. The app works terribly in comparison to Notability and Goodnotes 6. Hand writing imput makes it difficult to write and organize all of your notes. 1 out of 10 cause it works on my old IPad. Don’t recommend

Not great for repetitive use. Hard to continually copy entire note, as you are forced to re-select entire note every time the content needs transferring.

Very interesting app but limited in export options.. Hello, what a useful app you have created. However it is limited in the amount of export options you provide. Do you have any plans to increase your export options to include RTF and TXT? That would be very useful. Thank you.

Needs work to shine. I want to love this app so bad, it has an amazing input method for Japanese / Chinese / Korean learners but the limitations are severely crippling. PDF exports aren't editable, and even in-app you can't edit the size nor color of handwriting after inputted! Otherwise I could accept the limitations and use it along a different app. Additionally: search only works for regular text, there’s no PDF import, very few fonts, no shape conversion, and the single drawing pen (separate from handwriting pens) has limited thickness and colors. Pages only scroll vertically with no option to flip horizontally; and while it does have folders that show up as little tabs at the top, you still have to go back and forth to jump between notes if you're using them as pages. However it does ONE thing that I haven't seen others accomplish so well (not even Nebo); treating your handwritten text as...a seamless part of the text block. With some bonus features that are particularly handy for language learners, such as: adding sound recordings (with custom playback speed) as discreet buttons next to the text; voice-to-text (also useful for checking if your pronunciation is understandable); and OCR from photos (EN/CN/HK/TW/JP/KR only). Handwritten notes coexist marvelously along text, as if you were just using a different font. You can use your keyboard to navigate and copy/paste the handwriting across different lines or sections of the text, and strikethrough/underline as if you were using a normal text editor. The UI/Ux is abysmally planned as a whole, but there are shortcuts for adding spaces, line breaks and erasing characters when you're in handwriting mode, and pencil scribble gestures also work on them after inputted. It gives you two options for handwritten input (besides the pencil scribble input of course); and 3 different brushes: a ball pen; a pressure sensitive pen; and a sadly very buggy calligraphy brush that replicates sumi-e (particularly cool for practicing your kanji handwriting). Rather than writing on lines directly, the default option is by writing them on a little draggable box at the bottom of the screen; it offers horizontal, vertical and diagonal guidelines. A game changer for anyone writing in Kanji / Hanzi / Hangeul, making it much easier to achieve consistent calligraphy. It uses a configurable delay (between 1 and 7 - with 7 being about 3s) to convert the drawn character into the selected line of the text. You write BIG at the bottom of the screen and what you write shows up as-is (except smaller) wherever your text cursor is placed. The cool part is that if you write with the pencil anywhere outside the box, that text is converted by apple's scribble, so you can seamlessly mix the two types of input (font text and your own calligraphy) without having to press any buttons to switch between the two modes; and if you have a keyboard attached, you can just type and handwrite seamlessly as well. This app might be the fastest I've tried when it comes to combining handwriting and typed text without having to constantly realign text blocks or fiddle with buttons. For people who write in latin script, however, handwriting letter by letter can feel weird, and even the milliseconds it takes for it to convert might get annoying. It also tries to center characters between lines rather than having the letters sit on top of them (kinda useful for logographic languages) but even if you write at the exact same spot, it some times misaligns letters by making them superscript. Not great unless you're going for the "ransom note" kind of visual. The other method hides the guide box and makes the entire page your input ground. This makes it easier to just write entire words in one go (although each word will behave as one character in the text). With this mode you'll also have to press the keyboard button if you want to convert scribbles to font, but also does allow you to make letters that are slightly bigger than if using the original input box. Unfortunately you can't really make anything too huge, and with only 7 brush weights, making big thick letters is not the easiest endeavor; even with fonts the max font size is 40px. This is certainly not the app for data organization, doodlers or anyone big on sprucing up their notes. Though drawings with the drawing pen are editable afterwards by just dragging their vector points around, and you can lock images so you don't accidentally edit or move them around your page. The app also features a built in calendar for diary style view, animated emojis, tick-able checkboxes for making to-do lists in notes and password support. However the price point ($13) might be an issue for what little it offers when compared to the competitors who pack a lot more feature for less.

Not Apple Pencil friendly. Would like to see Apple Pencil friendly. Graffiti 2 is very spotty and jumpy and doesn’t work well. Also would like to see it not erase if you change from one setting to another. And finally would like to see the eraser work for both. Needs some work. I wish I would have tried it out more before I purchased it.

It changed. I have always used this app to take notes and use my iPad pen to write down notes. Just recently, it will no longer let me write down notes I am only allowed to type, unless I get the “Subscription” which is ridiculous.

My review on the app. My review is not that good because I can barely do things without paying when it should just be free!

Not so good. Forcing me to say 5 stars so I can get a feature

Not what I thought. It closest let you write with your apple pencil if that's what you are looking for because that is what I was looking for!!!

Good app, Eh experience. I take notes as a nursing student in college, but I recently lost an important note while working on an assignment for one of my classes. Although I enjoy using the app, I find that there are some limitations on its features, although it does offer a range of free options. I'm feeling a bit stressed because those notes were significant, but it's okay—I can use another resource.

Review. It’s alright, you have to purchase premium to be able to do basic things on here so I don’t like that. But the free stuff is good.

Woah 😮. This really helped me take notes for classes and in organizing my personal writing. The quality is amazing, but not as good as I imagined.

Can’t use offline. I have a iPad mini 4 and I bought the 3 month subscription. It will not let me do anything offline. I really love the write to text feature. I just wish it would let me use offline
