   app so buggy and frustrating. this app was great, but lately it takes forever to load different days and it bugs out. if i forget to log a day before and i go back to fix, it’s impossible. latest update, signal etc. trying a different app.

   Do not sign up for a free trial!!!!. I signed up for a free trial and it wouldn’t give me an option to cancel. The only thing I could talk to was a bot and it was no help at all. Literally just going back and forth and they sent me a “link” to cancel and that link sent me to a page that couldn’t be found. After so many failed attempts of trying to explain what happened of course they charged me, but only after taking my money, they finally give me an option to cancel and an email to actually reach out to a person to resolve the issue. THE FREE TRIAL IS A SCAM!!!!!

   Barcode Scanning Premium. No apps are free anymore. Constant ads for premium. Constantly taking features away from the free version. I’ll pay someone else for an app before i give you my money for a feature that has ALWAYS been free.

   Can't do anything without subscribing. It's so intrusive and there really is no use in this all unless you subscribe. I'm just going to start writing my stuff down. So sick of these companies and their subscriptions for basic things that should be free.

   New update bad. I loved the app before and paid for lifetime and used this for years not but miss the OG version. New update is messy and hard to find anything and sucks. Very disappointing they change the app after you pay,, I won’t be using it anymore now

   The app does not count correctly.. I have been using this app for years and recently i found out that it is not counting my macros properly!

   Keeps getting worse. Ads every single time you do something. You cannot get your total macros for the day unless you pay. The updates make it worse and worse for non paying users every time

    More and more greedy. They keep taking away features that used to be free. First for me it was the custom calorie goal, and now you can’t even scan a barcode for free, a feature I have used for years. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

    Avoid! Horribly inaccurate and no customer service. It started out ok, but then suddenly I started getting insights and info grossly inaccurate. “Keep drinking juice, days you meet your goals you drank juice.” I NEVER drank or recording juice. It said I wasn’t meeting my protein goals, why? Because they had two displays recording different amounts of protein. One would show about a third of my consumption, one seemed in accurate. EVERY day they push with pop ups several times a day to join lifetime. I tried to report the multiple inaccurate tracking for protein and and the insights that made no sense and didn’t reflect my actual eating patterns. They only have AI. I now have to go through my bank to get a refund. Snake oil salesman

    Original RULER Header was motivation. When Lose It changed the header from the very motivational ruler going across the screen to a circle that goes around and around, all my motivation was lost.

    Cannot log current day. I started yesterday and logged in everything successfully. Today I went to log in today’s information and kept getting add to yesterday’s meals. Could not get today’s information logged. What was worse is going to help page and seeing they are “transitioning “ to new system. So no help there. Looks promising if it worked.

    Promotions and ads. Stop shoving GLP-1s down my throat!!! There are so many ads and offers constantly popping up any time I open the app.

    Seriously deficient database. What in the world happened to the data base?! I hope you fix this….now when you search for foods, especially grocery store brands and restaurant foods they is practically nothing available. This app was so amazing before.

    Don’t use!. It automatically signed me up for the free trail. I thought I cancelled it from happening and deleted the app. Then I got a $20 charge. I feel like $20 was stolen from me. I wouldn’t not recommend this app

    Barcode no longer free (and now macros is gone too). This app was much easier to use when the barcode scanner worked but now it’s a premium feature. Most of the items i use take multiple tries to lookup because it’s under a different name. Not sure how much longer i’ll use this since this setback. (Update: 2026) They put more options that were once free behind a paywall. Never downloading this app again.

    Cringe Sellout. This had so many free features for non premium users, scanning nutrition lables, micro and macro breakdowns, it was comfortable to use the UI was pleasant to look at. Slowly overtime, they’ve been restricting features for unpaid users for the final straw was this new version.. being unable to see your macros, coupled with the ugly, bland, and newly simplified ui made the switch to a different tracking app so much easier. Idk what happened to this app over the years, but whatever i use cronometer now ✌️

    Subscription scam. I canceled my subscription and was surprised that they tried charging my card again , and they was no way in the website to figure out how to remove my card . And the links they provided didn’t even work. Be very careful before you add your personal information

    Less and less usable. This app used to be the absolute best until they started to put just about everything behind a paywall. And now, there are so many ads that it’s practically becoming unusable. It’s so demotivating to have to watch an ad after every single thing you add or update. As someone who previously paid for it, I can tell you the content isn’t amazing it was the ability to find a great, relatively accurate database and scan barcodes for easy adding. The ads were bad, but not to the level it is now. So sad to see what was such an amazing app get so greedy.

    Barcode scanner needs subscription. A basic feature like a barcode scanner is locked behind a paywall. Don't waste your time going through the complicated setup. They just want your money.

    Used to be great. I used this app years ago and it was absolutely fantastic while still free. Now, however, it’s nearly unusable. It constantly asks you to subscribe and then runs ads full screen over and over.

    Terrible.. Begins with what feels like 40 questions, which I wish was an exaggeration, and then after all of that, it asks you to pay $80(right now it apparently has a 50% off deal.) Everything I need it behind some upgrade. UI is rough. Terrible.

    Used to be good. I started using this free app again after a few months. Used to love it but now it’s terrible. There is literally an orange block that covers most of the features I used. Looks like I’d have to pay for it if I want to use it again. I understand paying for extra features. But now looks like you have to pay for everything. I deleted. Too bad, it used to be good.
