Amazing!. This app is so easy to use. It’s accurate and it makes keeping track of what you eat fun! I’ve tried others and nothing compares to this one. Plus it’s free! I love this app. Never have done a review on an app until this one.
- ★★★★★crashes and login problems
Can’t make an account. It’s not letting me sign up. I’ll put in all my info. But no clear button anywhere to go further.

Amino: AI Calorie Tracker. Accuracy is way off when analyzing food!

No gift card. I have built up a lot of points and there is no where that it shows me any gift cards that I can redeem. This was a waste of my time.

Trash. I’ve waited for months to write this review, but they still haven’t fixed the problem. It doesn’t keep track of anything. The app worked great and somebody messed with it and screwed it all up. Don’t waste your time downloading it. It will just frustrate you because it does not keep track of your of your steps properly, ( all my other Pedometer apps say the same, while this registers less steps every time, sometimes a thousands off!!) and when it does register 10,000 steps (while all the other apps say you have really walked 15,000 steps plus) 10,000 steps it doesn’t reward you any points Complete trash app!!

Not happy. I did what I was told to do. I contacted support for the log in. I cannot log in a when I was able to log in none of my amino rewards have been transferred from the original amino app… bad app, scamming us out of our data while their pockets fill. $10 says this review will get a auto generated comment that I should reach out to support.. yea what support, none

How can I transfer my old point from the old app?. Other than that this is a great app.

Poor transition. So far no way provided to get old version points transferred. No credit for steps under 10k. Would not recommend this app.

Big step backwards. Had the previous app. Was forced to migrate to the new app, and after a week, I’ve decided to stop using it altogether. The new app will not give you partial credit for your 10,000 steps like the old one did. And even if you take 10,000 steps to get full credit, you must open the app, wait for it to recognize the step count, and wait longer to receive the points. Didn’t take 10K steps? You get nothing. Took 10K steps and didn’t open your app at the end of the day? You get nothing. Took 10K steps, saw it in the app, it didn’t wait until your balance updated? You get nothing (exactly what happened to me on Sept 21). Also, the new app requires hundreds of thousands of points to get any gift cards or useful value, which may take many months to earn, unless you stream yoga videos everyday. There is no more leaderboard or community-focused features that made the old app fun. Lastly, if you were using the old app, you have to go through a very convoluted process to get your old tokens (which seem to be dropping in value steadily). Just another generic “fitness” app, which is a shame.

Lost all my tokens that quick. Why they do this? Been working with this app for months… wow. Didn’t know it was coming.

New app has 0 amino balance. Used amino move for quite some time and now moved over to the new app and my balance is 0

Help. My app quit working after several weeks. I like the app but need help to open and save my data
- ★★★★★crashes and login problems
This app. when i first got this app it was good for the first 3 weeks it then kept logging me into a different account and not let me log into mine.
- ★★★★★crashes and login problems
Terrible app. I thought this app was great for the first 2 weeks! Then one day I couldn’t snap pic or type my meal facts. Tried the next day but of course it wouldn’t allow me to go back. I had to start breaking down my meals b/c it would calculate an entire bag of granola or entire carton of milk instead of just one serving! So annoying!!

new app needs work. no credit for the steps you take if you don’t exceed 10k. no credit for several videos watched. hopefully credit from old app will be ported over soon, but kinda weird that they didn’t figure out that (fairly critical) migration before launching the new app. i’m optimistic it will improve, but yeesh.

Glitch. It glitches out sometimes and won’t open or scan barcodes
- ★★★★★accuracy and ease of photo calorie tracking
useful, but a couple flaws. sometimes you’ll have it scan a nutrition label with all macros and micros perfectly laid out and it’ll hallucinate numbers anyway. also, when you manually update the values, it does not recalculate the health score
- ★★★★★accuracy and ease of photo calorie tracking
Inaccurate. While I enjoy this apps ease of use and the fact that it’s free except for watching an ad or two on my extra hungry days. I do have to say it inaccurately estimates the amounts of food in the photos you take. I carefully measure my portions and every time I have to correct the app on these amounts. The other complaint I have is it’s inaccurate on my daily steps. Otherwise it’s a decent free option for keeping track of your food intake.

Completely unusable for blind user. REVIEW: As a blind person who relies on VoiceOver on iPhone, this app is not accessible at all . Many buttons and controls are unlabeled or unannounced, navigation is chaotic, and I simply cannot complete basic tasks without sighted help. This isn’t a minor inconvenience it makes the app unusable for screen reader users. VoiceOver support is not about toggling a setting it means all elements must be labelled and operable, and YOU must test that with real assistive tech. Right now, Amino fails basic screen reader navigation and control accessibility. There is absolutely no reason in 2026 for a social app to leave blind people out. Other apps manage this there’s no excuse. If you want to call this an “inclusive community app,” you need to make it actually usable with VoiceOver . Not “half-baked compatibility,” not “kind of works in places.” Full accessibility compliance means blind users can perform all core functions without assistance. Fix this. Respect accessibility. We deserve access not an afterthought. Why this hits harder • It calls out usability, not just preference.

Too many ads, deletes or doesn’t accept meals.. This app is amazing despite several glaring flaws. You can only take a few photos per day without being bombarded by so many ads. Furthermore, I’ve found on several occasions that a meal I previously took a photo of and registered in the app gets deleted. This is very annoying.

$$??. I like the app so far. I would like it more if I could just pay and not have to watch adds.
- ★★★★★accuracy and ease of photo calorie tracking
Nice app. Once you get used to the app it is very user friendly
- ★★★★★points, rewards and migration from the old amino app
Nice but. It works pretty accurately. I love the AI feedback and availability. I do not like the limit on entries and having to earn points to add more. That is a real dealbreaker for me. I would rather pay a bit for the app than deal with that.

Great app to track calories. This is a nice app. Seems fairly accurate and tells you if the meal is balanced or what could be better, gives a breakdown of proteins, carbs and free! Impressive. Thanks very excited! Love it. This is the first time I’ve ever written a review, but so pleased I decided too!
