Worst period tracker I’ve used. I’ve literally never written an app review before but the frustration of using this app has pushed me to finally do so. The app is terrible at predicting when your period actually starts unlike other period trackers I’ve used. It always ends up tricking me into thinking that my period is late which has given me a lot of anxiety over the past few years that I’ve used it. Speaking of, I don’t think they’ve updated the look or functionality in the whole time I’ve used it. Editing the timing of your period is frustrating and clunky. Shouldn’t it just know that you’ve started your cycle when you enter the corresponding bleeding emoji? I can see how some people might use it to track unnatural flow or spotting but I guess it’s just not for me. I also think the system of using emojis is kind of dumb and childish. Hopefully they update it at some point but for now, I’ll be looking for another period trackers that’s more convenient to use.

Used to work great. The app used to work great, but over the last few months the tracking feature has been inaccurate and difficult to adjust. I’m strongly considering switching to a different period tracker. Another thing, the developers of the app suggest that folks who leave negative reviews here use the “contact support” button on the account page but when I tried to do that the button straight up didn’t work.

Used to be amazing. I have been using this app for years and it was amazing but I started realizing that any time i went to log a period it would ask me “is this your first day?” even if I was already on day 3. It annoyed me a bit but what really made me delete the app was the fact that I got a new phone and when I went to launch the app it would open but have a blue screen with a spinning circle. I thought if I deleted it and reinstalled it would fix it. It did… Until I realized it erased all of my past data and there’s no log back in feature. I guess I’m going to have to find a new app :/

Used to work. The app worked great until about a month or two ago. Now, everyday shows up red like I’m on my menstruating everyday. This is obviously not helpful for tracking purposes. I submitted a help ticket to the developers and they assured me the glitch would be fixed. No change. If you need a reliable track app don’t use this one.

Used to be good, now absolutely buggin. My predictions and my past logs are all messed up and wrong after a fairly recent update. Theres no way to fix it or reset it or anything. Guess I'll just track it in my planner 🤷♀️

I’m confused. I used this app for many many years and it was great, lots of features and reasonably accurate predictions. Around 2020ish they did a big overhaul and removed most features and deleted user data. I was upset to have lost so many years of tracking but figured as long as I can put dots on the calendar to record my periods it’s still worth using. Multiple updates since then have deleted my data again. I don’t understand why updates delete user data and why they can’t fix it. Lately when I try to edit my periods nothing happens. I edit, press the save button, and the dots I made disappear. Sometimes I can find my period dates by clicking each day to see “cycle day” but now it will just delete the cycle when I close the app. No matter how many times I edit my period it just deletes my information and logs my period on whatever days it wants. I’ve turned off period prediction but it still does this. All I want is an app that lets me put red dots on a calendar. I don’t understand why they can’t make this app functional.

What happened???. This app used to be amazing! I haven’t been on in a couple days and this morning I opened it and the app’s a mess! Constant banner notifications at the top of the screen, days marked ‘none’ suddenly all highlighted red when before only period days were highlighted red. It’s impossible to tell which days were period days without opening the menu for each individual day. It keeps bouncing around menus I didn’t even tell it to open! What is going on???
- ★★★★★reminders and cycle predictions misfire
All Red Now. After recent update it keeps giving me like 9 notifications over and over when I open the app. But most importantly, literally all my tracked days became red. So it’s pointless now that I can’t go back know when I got my period last… I’ve only had the app for 2.5 months.

Lost all data. Lost all data on new update…it used to be a good app
- ★★★★★app loses data after updates
All data deleted. I wish that there was a warning that all of my data would be deleted after I updated to the most recent version. The app is no longer useful to me as I no longer have access to the three years’ worth of vital information related to my period. I will be deleting the app.

Not Spot On. I thought this was a safer alternative to tracking my period through Apple. But it tells me my period should be earlier than it actually is, a week or more earlier. Gives me a heart attack I’m pregnant!Very disappointing since this app is built by Planned Parenthood.

So disappointed. All my data from months and months of me logging my period is GONE!!! There is no way to log into your account I have to start all over so will no longer use this app!

Very cool. We love losing all our data after an update, we definitely weren't actively using that information for important medical information. I didn't swap devices or delete the app ever, so surely it wouldn't just all vanish into the void like the FAQs implied, if not outright stated. Also, can we get a toggle for the period prediction circles and the annoying opening popup? The predictions are never accurate for me, the affirmations are irritating coming from randos, and theyre both just visual clutter in an app I use to put dots and emojis on a calendar. The "irregular" option worked great, so I suppose thats why it got removed.

Used to be SPOT ON. As many others have said, this app was great BEFORE the update. It was actually spot on every time. I had 3 years of data and knew exactly when my period was starting. Now, it predicts my period wrong and much earlier than it starts. I’m only using this app now to log my period, but other than that it’s spot-less. If the developers could retrieve the data I would be very happy but as of now I actually hate this app. I’ll never forget how devastated I was when all the data was lost.

Waste. opened one day and all my data is gone

Mostly frustrating... I like that it has the option to add that birth control was started or stopped but…. I seriously need an option for writing notes…. It seems like the main function of the app is to track if you add birth control or remove it…. There’s more to female health than birth control…. Super super frustrating that there aren’t options for personalization of what you want to keep track of. Instead it’s pushing you to go to the planned parenthood website or again…get on birth control…. If all that wasn’t enough…. The notifications of “Have you gotten your period yet?” On your screen….not a good mix if you are a bit sensitive and hormonal…. Deleted the app pretty quick after downloading it….

terrible since update. It was great before the update, now, as others have said, it’s nearly useless. First, I lost three years of data. Now I have seven months of data showing my cycle, but every single month it predicts a cycle that is way shorter than mine has ever been. I have to manually reset my cycle length every. month. I trust PP and want to use this app, but its main feature cycle prediction is completely broken.

All Data Lost. I’ve been using this app for a couple years to try to figure out some health issues with my obgyn by tracking my cycle. The app kept crashing recently so I updated it. All of my data I had tracked was lost and customer service said it cannot be recovered since they don’t have an option to have an account to save it to. Pick a different app.

BC feature is great but... This app is struggling to log my birth control. It gives a prediction of when my period will come but then when I try to log my period over my prediction, my period doesn’t get logged on the app. I’m deleting it.

App not working. First time trying this app, every time I try to open it, clicking "start tracking" on the first screen leads to a completely blank, white page that won't change to anything no matter how much time I give it.

Deleted 10 years of data. I had transferred all my period data from apps like Flo and Clue to this platform because of Roe V. Wades overturning. I recently checked to see when my period is and I found the app having my restart and “tell them about me and my cycle”. I was never made aware of ANY changes and am extremely disappointed. DONT USE.

Avg Cycle is Wrong. This was my favorite app. Very easy to use and always reliable period predictions. Recently I noticed I was missing my periods and something was off with calendar. App says that my avg cycle is 22 days which is wrong, my cycle is 27 days. I recalculated based on past few months. I keep changing this in the app. I manually change to 27 days. After few days app resets my avg cycle back to 22 days. Very annoying. I cannot contact support from the app since that button is not working.

Update just erased all my data. DO NOT UPDATE THIS APP!!! I’ve been using this app ever since Clue got weird, and found it to be basic but perfectly serviceable. Then I updated it and poof, EVERYTHING got erased. When I opened it again, it asked me all the intro questions, including when the last time my period was - dude, THAT IS WHAT I WAS USING THIS APP FOR. I hope they fix this, but I’ll be looking elsewhere.
- ★★★★★app loses data after updates
Data gone. Updated the app not long ago and my data I tracked in the last year is completely gone. Don’t update the app if you want to keep the dates and info you’ve tracked for a long time.
- ★★★★★app loses data after updates
DO NOT UPDATE. I updated and all of my data is gone, I’ve had the app for years and all my data disappeared when I got the latest update I’m so upset
- ★★★★★app loses data after updates
DO NOT UPDATE IF YOU HAVE DATA TO KEEP. the update removed all of my data and gave me no option to sign in or get it back. I might as well find a new app for tracking my period after using Spot On for years because the whole point was to be able to have that history factored in. all of my information is gone with no warning.
- ★★★★★app freezes on loading or wont launch
What happened?. This used to be my favorite tracking app and after all the updates, the app won’t even open. Such a shame.
- ★★★★★app loses data after updates
recently updated the app and all data was lost. i didn't realize this had happened, so i can't even get my data from the cloud because automatic backups have occurred since the update. this is irresponsible app maintenance.
- ★★★★★app freezes on loading or wont launch
Won’t even open. Doesn’t even load or open up anymore. This was my favorite app what a shame
- ★★★★★app loses data after updates
New update erases data. Latest app update erases all user data. I emailed the technical support team and they know the update erases your data, but they put nothing in place to save your data nor does it warn you to back it up before updating.
