Misleading “Free”. Giving a free 7 day trial for a 12 week running plan shouldn’t be listed as “in app purchases”. Once trial is expired an ad screen blocks you from further use until you either pay more monthly than for Netflix, or $40 for lifetime. App itself is good, but be honest upfront that this is a $40 app.
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
Charged me for trial. I was offered a free trial for the app but after entering the trial I was charged $20 for my subscription the next day. I love this app and I would be happy to change my review when this is resolved

Nothing without pacing advisement. Training means nothing if you don’t have advise about pace. This may as well be a zone 2 trainer
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Controls primitive. In this day and age, controls on apps are everything. I paid for this version, so it’s not because it’s free. It kept skipping segments of the workout and I couldn’t figure out why. Then I realized there’s a pause are the bottom with arrows on either side. If the arrow gets activated (which apparently doesn’t take much because even with gloves on (and no touch components in the fingertips for touchscreens) it somehow manages to skip segments of the workout. Oddly it’s never gone backward and repeated a segment. I can’t think of a reason why you’d want that function to begin with. So I went to add manual information, which Google says you can but I can’t find how. This app is too simplistic, and no failsafes.

Unless they give me back my lifetime subscription from before. I’m giving this 1 star. I already paid before. Also There used to be a free version and they take all your information and the survey is long on purpose to make you feel like you have to subscribe at the end. It’s a good app on its own, no need to be manipulative. Just make the survey voluntary and add a decline button. In its current state I can’t use this app and just use timers on my own.
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
Charged for free trial. Went to try it out for a week on the free trial that is offered but was charged $13 before even trying it.

App resets constantly. The first 4 times I used the app it worked flawlessly. The last 3 times I used it the app would reset back to the beginning of the session 3 to 10 times during my run. I refuse to use the app as a new runner as using it was way more frustrating than the run/walk itself and only added frustration and took the fun out of it. Until I find something better I will not use The app and figure it out on my own. And for what it is worth for the developer I was using the app on an iPhone 16 Pro running IoS 18.7.1.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Buyer beware. This app said it was 40 bucks for a lifetime membership, why did I just get charged for 70? I’m disappointed and disputing the charge. Highly disappointed

Price increase. $70 for lifetime access? It was recently $40 and before then, much cheaper. They keep raising the price significantly without adding any new features. These Devs are delusional or too greedy.
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
USELESS. The only function this app offers that you can’t get a million other places for free is that it automatically tells you through your headphones when to run and when to walk. Unfortunately, it can’t even do that. When the run intervals exceed 8 minutes, 9 times out of 10 the app will glitch and not tell you to walk. Which is the worst then when you’re pushing yourself. Save your money.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Can’t use without paying. You cannot use this app without paying. It lets you do all the the set up. Then before you can use the 1st workout, you must pay
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Scam. Advertised as a free app and after going through the whole setup find out you have to pay $40 to use it.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Pricing not accurate. It says 40$ for forever access but they also charge you per month to be able to use it.
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Zero support. The app is great until you need support. My runs have been failing to sync to my history from my watch to my phone. I’ve reached out to support in the 2 limited ways they offer, and zero response for almost a week.
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
Cash Grab. This app will not let you lose it unless you do the free trial or pay $40 for a subscription. Very misleading on there end, as it’s advertised as a free app. Terrible.👎👎👎
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Deceptive Marketing Practices, Do Not Download. This app advertises itself as a free app, but you have to pay 40$ to use it or opt for a free trial that auto converts to a paid option when you open it for the first time. Shame!
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Why are you charging different fees?. My boyfriend just got a lifetime membership for $5.99 for lifetime access and when I downloaded the app it says $39.99 for lifetime access???

Doesn’t individually optimize. Not actually a smart running program that looks at HR and pace. It’s clear based on my HR and pace that I need to do many repeats of short runs with short walks in between, but instead it keeps giving me long runs with long walks in between.

Help. What is the difference between the one-time $39.99 and the $19.99 every three months? I can’t find the answer and I need to know.
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
APP freezes and unlocks. If your creating a running app, you cannot have it crash, freeze, change playlists, unlock itself while running because that defeats the purpose. This app has been nothing but a headache.

$40 Get real. Charging $40 for an app is criminal.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Don’t make people fill out a bunch of information then put up a paywall. Put up the paywall immediately and don’t waste my time. Deleted!
- ★★★★★data, history or progress disappears
Fine for 5k but not so much beyond. Good app to get up to 35 minutes straight running, but once you get there it drops back down to 12 and 15 minute intervals. By the time I was back up to running 25 minute intervals, my aerobic capacity had decreased and I was no longer accustomed to running for that long in a stretch. Really disappointed that my progress was lost in a couple weeks. You’d be better to ditch the app after getting to 35 minutes and increasing on your own.

Stupid. Made me pay money

Bait and switch. Downloaded the app, filled out the information. Alright so far, then the app tells me I need to pay $40 to use their app. It's like they spit on my face. Pathetic. It's a bait and switch. Don't waste even a second of your time to this app.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Cost is more than advertised. So which is it? $39.99 for lifetime access? Or $29.99 every 3 months? Nope—you lost me with the deceptive pricing. Going to use the free apps instead.

10K. I've been using 10K runner for 10 weeks It's not reliable or consistent. It went from having me run 5 minutes twice with breaks to 30 minutes non stop in 2 weeks The body doesn't work like that. My heart rate was through the roof and I couldn't breathe or run When I have optimized feedback it gave me a list of excersizes to get in better shape Y'all I work out 4 days a week and ride my bike 15 miles three times a week, it's not me. It makes too big of jumps I wish I could rate it lower
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Not worth it. Way too expensive for what it is. I paid $5 for the C25K and that was way more useful than this app is. Totally not worth the $40 cost
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
$40 for a training program app?!. This app is not worth $40. I can just do some googling and find another training program for free. $40?! Absolutely ridiculous.

Was OK… but now it isn’t. If you read the reviews, you see everyone loves IT. But, that was 6 years ago and it is STILL the same app… except for the price. What was once a few $$ has increased their price for the app 275% in 6 months with no end in sight. Yep, you read that right. 10K runner has drunk the greed wine. Do yourself a favor and check out one of the other amazing (and free) running apps. Including: Nike Run Club (this app has all the features and seems to be interesting in keeping the technology updated…) Runna (Described as your personal running coach, if you are serious about your running and want to increase your speed and endurance, this is the best running app one the market.) Garmin Connect (If you have one of these watches, try the app. It is loaded with lots of great stuff, including plans and the ability to drill down into the data of your run… gathered through your watch… Imagine that 10K Runner, an app that actually works with your watch instead of being just a glorified TIMER for $20 every three months or a $40 purchase.) Lots of options to choose NOT to reward an app developer for their outright sucky greed and business “decisions”. Take your overhyped MBA and put it in your old stinky running shoes. You made a bad decision.
