Ripped off. Downloaded this app to check it out and they started charging me for it. Didn’t realize that just downloading it to check it out meant you agree to pay $15.93 per month. Never used it, forgot about it and now I see they’ve charged me for 3 months. $50 stolen.

Ew. At first, I loved this app. It gave helpful information to assist in quitting drinking, puts you in a support group with other people that use the app and has a tracker for calories saved/$ saved/drinks had. An irritating aspect is that the tracker is not a “running total” of these items. I would like to see the tracked items saved to date instead of the tracker resetting back to zero each week. But I could live with that. Now when I post in the online group, none of the posts are saved! It’s quite frustrating when you’re asking for help/feedback from someone just to go back into the app and see the post didn’t even register in the system. I’m emailing this company to ask for my yearly subscription money back, don’t waste your time trying this one.

Charged me without approval. My card was charged for a full year during the trial period. They will not get back to me. I’ve tried contacting them several times.

iPhone Issues. App functionality does not work well with the new iPhones. You can’t select the profile or group links at the top of the screen.

Cash. It lets u waist A half hour setting up then charges $20 a month or $99 a year. No free trial. Don’t waist time unless u plan to spend

Claims to have a free version but it’s a lie. Never able to access the free version, only sticks on the “try DH premium” and won’t let you skip, say no, pass it or anything. I probably would have tried the premium once I got a feel for the app but this was either a deliberate bug to force people to pay right away or bad programming - either way not interested anymore.

Monthly fees, buyers beware. This app wouldn’t let me change the date for my “sober days.” I started a little bit ago and decided I’d like an app to track. Once again, they charge a fee monthly, every 6 months etc for like $20 a month. No thanks.
- ★★★★★a long quiz, then a surprise subscription
Not free. If this app creater really cared it wouldn’t charge so much to help people. I wasted an hour filling everything out only to find out I can’t afford the app. Useless

Subscription. I signed up for a 1 month subscription but was charged for a 6 month. There is no go on how to contact someone for support about this. Otherwise this is a good app and I’d give it many more stars. If someone can give me contact info for me to remedy this I would gladly change my review. Otherwise I tell others to be careful about subscribing.

USELESS. So, unless you’re looking for a sober-ish hookup, there’s not a whole lot going for you on this app, unfortunately… there are better options out there!!
- ★★★★★unauthorized charges and no way to cancel
How to delete accounts?. App will blind side memberships after you sign up for a week. And can’t even delete the account. I better not get charged!

Just a bunch of fatties crying about how it’s not their fault. Why aren’t fatties labeled as a type of cryptid
- ★★★★★a long quiz, then a surprise subscription
NOT FREE. They make you go through 30 minutes of questions and then at the very LAST step - they make you chose an subscription plan.

Bait and switch 👎. The bait and switch of this app is terrible. It should be stated up front when you download this app that this is a paid platform.
- ★★★★★group chat, from warm support to dead or bot like groups
Way more than I want. I just want an app to track how much I’m drinking so I can bring down my triglycerides. I don’t want to put in a “group” and get texts all day from total strangers who are struggling with alcoholism. I also don’t appreciate being nagged to “go premium” whenever I try to use the app.

App Bug. App gone totally bonkers. Unable to get into groups just wants me to upcharge to plus. It isn’t a bad idea but I haven’t decided and I’m even sure that would cure the app. I was able to get into groups before. Oh, and tracker doesn’t work. This app has so much potential but doesn’t function.

Bad app. I canceled this app and have just noticed 3 months of charges. Very unhappy and requesting immediate refund.

So i need to pay more money to be sober?. Pretty sure if u guys cared about the issue at hand you could get by with in app purchases and not in app subscriptions. Here i thought i found a handy tool to help me but no i need to subscribe for the same amount i spend on alcohol a week
- ★★★★★the sobriety streak tracker resets and cannot be edited
Doesn’t allow you to personalize. Tracking feature inaccurate. Reset sober days to day 1 without me resetting it and would not let me edit.

Not a good app. The theory behind this app is solid. Take a drink tracker and pair it with social support from like minded individuals. The execution is so bad it’s almost sad. I actually have had success on the alcohol front, but deleted the app anyway because it was pricey and not a good app.

Asks you gazillion questions, then tells you it’s not FREE. Wasted about 15 mins answering questions to find out that it’s paid. Other companies use similar strategies, but for the first time I saw that many questions, close to 50. Afterwards they tell you, first week is free, 9,99 after. There are other apps to help you quit that don’t charge money.

Doesn’t track properly. This is a very crude app. All it does is track the days you do or don’t drink and the number of drinks. It can not track more than 10 days sober, which is useless for lighter drinkers.
- ★★★★★group chat, from warm support to dead or bot like groups
Need to allow responses on each comment. This is a super excellent concept, however, you should allow replies to each individual comment. It is too overwhelming and not personable.

$15 A MONTH??. I’m sorry but if you want ppl to use your app you need to make it more affordable. It’s all automated and you can’t even message individuals or small groups? Uhhh no I’ll use the many free other programs available. Even $5 a month I would pay but there is NO WAY I’m paying $15 a month for this. You don’t even get human interaction from what I can see. I obviously have not combed through the entire app yet as I am not willing to pay this amount for an app- but even the questions they had me fill out in the beginning are all autofill responses and you can’t even get specific about your own problems, only the responses your allowed to give. Most of the answers didn’t even fit what I’m trying to do with changing my drinking. People who are coming to these apps are seriously struggling. There’s no way it takes that much money to run an automated system that just spits out answers and logs how long you’ve been sober.

Subscription fee required😒. If it were clear in the literature that a sub fee is required to use the app I could’ve saved myself 10 mins of stepping through the download & setup.
- ★★★★★a flood of chat notifications
Completely annoying and unusable unless you pay an exorbitant subscription fee.. Honestly. For starters it won’t let you track any sober days or on-track days from before the date you download the app, and all of the promises it makes cost $15 a month. If you *don’t* pay the fee you can expect to be inundated with 50+ notifications a day that CAN’T BE REMOVED FROM THE APP OR YOUR BADGES until you pay the monthly subscription to view them. This app is a real example of a-hole design. I’ll be switching back to Less ASAP.
- ★★★★★group chat, from warm support to dead or bot like groups
Disappointed. Started off good. Good though provoking questions, good studies etc. Then it puts with a group, which is great! I wanted to be in one with a friend who joined with me but no dice. Week after I join the group I am in is dead...nobody talking or even responding. No way to talk to a moderator or manager. Auto renew? If I am on this app in 6 months I am cured or I need Betty Ford.
- ★★★★★a long quiz, then a surprise subscription
Waste of time. They make you jump through a lot of hoops before they tell you they want to charge you.
- ★★★★★a long quiz, then a surprise subscription
👇. Would be cool if you didn’t have to pay for any feature.. being an alcoholic is hard, I’m not paying for something that may or may not work
- ★★★★★a long quiz, then a surprise subscription
Beware. Expensive paid subscription not mentioned until you fill in all your reasons for wanting to quit drinking, give your name, and get excited for help. Way to prey on people’s desperation to escape addiction.
