Was a great resource until the paywall. I have the hardcover book and used this app when traveling. Unfortunately when I got a new phone I realized they are now charging. It’s a shame that this tool is now being withheld from people who could benefit from it. Fortunately there are other truly free resources for those looking for recovery.

Too much God.. I’m so happy this is not approved by AA. It’s too negative and drags one down and then tries to convince you that only God can pull you up. It must be written by scorn women who are negative and angry all of the time

Religious App, Deleted immediately. The reviews I read for this app did not mention this was a religious app. I downloaded it and read the first few pages and immediately had to delete it because the last thing I need or want is an app that is supposed to help with drinking less to immediately trigger me with religious propaganda.

New version is TERRIBLE. Every time they update this app they throw it completely out of wack. You cannot change the font size to make it smaller anymore and it just feels so different. 5 stars if they fix this issue but every time they put out an update this happens

One sided Christian view. Unfortunately, I spent money on an app that talks about “God” in the Christian sense. I would have been more accepting of this app had it not always mentioned God as “He.” Not to mention, the daily readings mention God 95% of the time. They just don’t give it a rest. It’s unfortunate and I wish I could get my money back.

Not affiliated with AA, extremely christian reflections. I would encourage anyone to explore other apps. The reflections seem highly subjective. I am tolerant and accepting of others beliefs, but to scorn actual modern theory and scientific knowledge is troublesome. Especially when most of us are trying to live a more truthful life. And struggle with a concept of a power greater than ourselves. Below is an actual “reflection” from the daily reflections: “Some people find it hard to believe in a Power greater than themselves. But not to believe in such a Power forces us to atheism. It has been said that atheism is blind faith in the strange proposition that this universe originated in a cipher and aimlessly rushes nowhere. That’s practically impossible to believe.” How is this helpful?

Be aware. Once purchased I started getting daily unauthorized emails. Opted out several times. Not happy about the privacy invasion and dishonesty. I thought it was an honest program

Too Christian. I think it a great ap, however, I would prefer it to convey more interfaith messages. I love one Vedic quote contained within.

God. This book does a lot of shaming towards people who don’t believe in God in my opinion

Goog. Good for topics

Not reliable. I had this app set-up to appear/pop-up on my phone as a notificacion at the same time every day. It worked for for maybe 3 months...then didn’t for about 2 years. And then all of the sudden, started working again.

Was great- now won’t work on iOS 11. Come on guys, update your app. 9 months you’ve known iOS 11 has been on its way

Great way to start the day. A great way to start every day inspiring uplifting and always the truth‼️

Perfect for most. Sponsor had me purchase app and as an atheist with a higher power of the nature variety I found the daily meditations relatable and inspirational...until a rather harsh message slamming atheism came up. What a way to alienate us atheists who are part of the program. 3 stars.

UI. User interface could be better

My 24 hrs a day. I use this every day. My program depends on my 24 hour reading. I am sober today because I have books like this to share as well as to use. I was out of the country and was able to obtain readings to keep my sobriety on a ship that was loaded with booze, met fellow alcoholics and shared my experience strength and hope. So thank you.

Painter Bill. I am so happy to start my day with the 24 hours a day meditation, thought and prayer. It gets me focused and thank you for having it on the app.

👍. Love it wish it was free. I love that I can send the message in text message to others

Great content, functionality so-so. I love being able to have the meditations here readily available at all times. My one complaint about the app is that if you move it to the background and then come back to it, it goes through the whole startup process again which is a small inconvenience but still a little annoying.

Experience, Strength & Hope. What a blessing to have this pop up every morning and get my head on straight before another wonderful day of sobriety Douglas T.

I really like this app. I have only been using the app for a week or so, but I am enjoying it immensely. It is the first part of my morning reading, prayer and meditation, and it sets the tone for the rest of my day. I highly recommend it to anyone who is trying stay sober.
- ★★★★★phone replaces the paper book, always accessible
Great daily thoughts- same as the $8 one I think. I used the hard copy for years then was thrilled to find this app & a few relevant others to recovering. We don’t have to have an addiction to use them and make each day a bit better. Try it, it’s free! God bless

Hope & Strength. This devotions have carried me through decades of sobriety, in more recent years, I’ve learned they were taken from ‘God Calling’ a devotional book that I have been reading for decades as well. Only God could have coordinated that unbeknownst to me.
