   I recommend you look for a different translator app. I am one hour to trying this app and I wish I could return it. The speech recognition is awful, and the voices on text to speech are a joke. I don’t know how this has any more than one star review, especially with the English speaking voice sounding like it’s come out of the 1980s.

   HORRIBLE APP. It translates but there’s a white box over the translation. Can’t read it. No help AT ALL when I was in Spain, France & Italy. I want my money back!!

   Completely useless. Nobody should get this app. You are paying for a really bad alternative to the free Google Translate app. The software is slow and buggy. The camera feature is unusable.    Doesn’t work. I couldn’t get it to work translating signs at all. I tried it the first few days and it wouldn’t work and my travel companion used their app. Of course my free trial ran out during my vacation. I never successfully used it but I got dinged the annual subscription. My fault for not canceling during my vacation. Managing apps wasn’t my priority but it would have been great if it worked.

   INTERNET ALWAYS LOST WITH THIS APP. Whoever or whatever you’re trying to translate will have to wait because this app always says that there’s no connection available

   Scam with no way to cancel. Don't fall for it. Free trial turns into a weekly $10.99 fee I can't figure out how to cancel. Does not show up in subscriptions on iPhone.

   Does not work as advertised. A waste of money, save yours and just use Google Translate. The majority of time, the camera feature doesn’t work. When it does work it gives literal translations. Tried to use in the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria.

    Scam. Number 1: The app won’t work because it constantly tells you that it can’t connect to the internet. Apparently you can stream music, scroll facebook, etc but this app can’t work because it “can’t connect to the internet”. Number 2: The small print is that this app actually costs $11/week and automatically renews without your approval. Save yourself the heads and try something different.

    Horrible translator. I used the 7 week option for my trip in Japan. It was just horrible. First of all it did not let me use it on my phone without a wifi even though I had full 4 bars with data at 40MB speed . Is this designed to only work with wifi ? Just dumb When i tried using it with wifi when available , it tool a long tome to respond , like 30-45 seconds which is painfully long when asking a stranger for help at the hotel or in the street. It looks like their latest version using AI is just horrible with mostly one star ratings. All the high ratings are for their old software and not this. Just sort the reviews to see newest first and almost all are one star.

    False Advertising. In the ad, they show their camera auto-translates text. In real life, you have to press a button and sometimes it works. That’s dramatically simpler technology, and a completely different customer experience

    Feels Like a Paid Version of Google Translate. This app feels like a joke. Google Translate provides better translation quality, a smoother experience, and it’s free. From my experience, this app feels like it is just using Google Translate in the background without adding any real value. I would not recommend paying for it.

    Not real time. I was looking for real time conversation translation. This is NOT. It won’t start translating till you stop listening, and in conversation mode can’t handle even a paragraph. Useless

    Doesn’t work - at least in the Baltics. Took pictures of a menu and the only word it translated was coca-cola lol. Tried multiple pics of different menus and it translated none of it. Don’t waste your time and money.

    App doesnt work offline. The app is so laggy, so hard to connect to the internet, and was not able to access the offline feature at all! There is also no instructions on how to use it offline. What a waste of money. Made my trip to Japan a lot more inconvenient while using it. Had to switch back to Google Translate.

    Slow and unresponsive. Horrible app, waste of time and money. Doesn’t work unless you are connected to WiFi and is slow and you have to repeat over and over again.

    Mischarged and broken. It said it charges $3.72 for a month, but then I was charged $45. The app works sometimes, but the camera icon is faded like 3 out of 4 times, and it doesn’t work when I click on it. It lied about how much I will be charged, and it doesn’t work properly.

    Misleading Ad. The translator works well. But the ad shows a “super power” that does not seem to exist. In the FB ad the app will live-translate a sign or notice as you move the camera over it. The app does NOT do this. You have to take a picture, just as with every other translator. A waste of time for me since this feature was the only reason I downloaded the app.

    Worthless. Took on vacation, half the time it didn’t work and the other half it would not translate. Spent the whole vacation with a worthless apps. Even paid for it and still didn’t work.

    This product is worthless - do not buy!!!. This was a good product before the upgrade, now it’s worthless. The camera function doesn’t open, & translation is incredibly slow. The company of course blamed me, & will not refund my balance after cancellation. Apple has a free translator that works better than this worthless app.

    Old app worked better!. I have an iPhone 17, & I’ve been using this app for months. The new upgrade is junk. It’s slow & unresponsive. Translations take 2-3 times longer than before. The app needs to be completely closed & reopened 3-4 times before the camera function works. Whoever approaches version for release should be fired!
