$7.99 to see all the features. You’ll need to pay for a subscription to try all of the features. Only two options were prominently made available to me in the App when I opened it, one month at $7.99 or one year. There was no free trial period for me, I was immediately charged $7.99, even after immediately ending the subscription within an hour of signing up. Unfortunately, after an hour of checking out the app, it won’t work for me. The shady subscription service is enough to keep me from using this service. But hey, the company did get $8. Maybe that’s their business plan.

Not intuitiv and Problems adding personal events. Imagine you wanna add a personal appointment without having a specific location. Well, that’s impossible with this app. You can’t create personal events or blockers. It is also not capable of having two manually added stays at the same location on two different dates per stay. And it is not intuitive at all. This app doesn’t work for my itineraries and it was just another waste of time.

Won’t fwd emails!. Glitchy. Customer service unable to solve problems. If you can’t forward emails, the main draw is gone!

Use Tripit instead. Super manual. Unhelpful. Just use tripit it lets you email your plans and it makes your itinerary for you.
- ★★★★★ads disrupt the experience
Ads. Free version is full of annoying popups to buy full version…. Deleted

Incredibly poor implementation. The biggest “feature” of being able to automate booking confirmation from your email to saved trips requires you to individually forward the emails to the app. Which doesn’t parse the emails half of the time and makes you enter all the information manually. Completely useless.

Waste of money. I was excited to try this app to organize my trip but what a disappointment! The email forwarding doesn’t work. It creates a new trip with each email you send and then you have to merge the two trips. You also can’t just notes to a day in your itinerary (e.g. wandering around a certain area with notes where to go). The app forces you to use their rigid search filter. I wished this app was better.

Needs Trip Duplication. Wish I could duplicate current and past trips so I that I don't have to manually put the same things in the new one, same if a friend is using tripsy on their trip and they want to see where I've been. On my trips I like to make notes and save locations I either plan to visit or that I find interesting so that if I have time when I'm there I can check the app for what's closest, their hours and things to know.

AS A Cruising APP?. Extremely unsure friendly app for setting up a cruise. I want my wasted 1 hour back.

Worst experience in an app ever!. We are moving from Tennessee to Las Vegas Nv. I am trying to plan how many stops along Interstate 40 and where to stay along the way. This app. Is not showing me how to do anything other than showing a start date and end date for my total trip. I am cancelling this app. Now!

Upgrade or not very useful. Everything has the pro label on it, so it’s not very useful unless you’re going to upgrade

Don’t bother to share feedback. If you send feedback to improve app you are wasting your time …. They don’t care even though it’s a simple request
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
Stop sending promotional notifications. I have no choice but to uninstall because I see no option of turning off promotions in settings

The new interface is very unfriendly. I used this app for 3 trips last year and I loved it for good organization of itinerary details and the ease of use. I came back to put my next trip in the plan, and found the app’s UC has been completely overhauled. The new interface requires multiple clicks to get to the information that were just a tap away in the old version. Hope makers take note of that and improve on the current one.

Basically unusable now with shared trips. With the new sharing features, the app merges flights incorrectly and deletes reservations you have carefully entered. If two people on a shared trip have flights on different days, but they are the same flight number, the app deletes one and can only have one instance. For example, on a current trip I am planning with my partner, I am flying on a Tuesday and my partner on a Friday on the same flight number between the two city pairs. We are both returning on the same flight on the following Monday. We have two separate reservations with different record locator numbers. I forwarded my reservation email to Tripsy first and it correctly entered the Tuesday and Monday flights for me. Then my partner forwarded his reservation email to enter his Friday and Monday flight. Tripsy added his Friday flight, but deleted my Tuesday flight and moved the saved email I had forwarded to the Friday flight. I forwarded my email again, and so now Tripsy recreated my Tuesday flight, but deleted his Friday flight. It moved all the attached emails from Friday to the Tuesday flight, so there were now three emails attached to the Tuesday flight. It’s just insane that Tripsy can’t handle people on a shared trip taking different flights. It’s become useless to us because everything has to be managed manually. It’s really too bad, because I like the basic concept of the app, but it’s just too flaky to rely on.

Synchronizing. The sync is not accurate. For example there are missing countries visited that are not in the summary. When its an attachment itinerary, it usually comes back unable to recognize. Not worth the year subscription i paid for.

Beautiful app severely lacking POI data. Update 29-April-2026: I appreciate the response from the dev and the tip about the share sheet — wish that was more visible during/after onboarding instead of the numerous banners pushing for the Pro subscription. (Might also be an Apple issue as the share sheet never seems to surface relevant apps for me or my friends…) Also glad to hear that you guys are actively working on improving search and POI information. If/when I give it another shot, I’ll be sure to reach out to support to provide feedback. Rating won’t change for now, but looking forward to the future of this app. OG Review 26-Apr-2026: I was hoping this could be my replacement for Wanderlog, with a native-first interface, but that kinda fell short. I was really liked the design, though some of the pop-ups were annoyingly timed/placed causing me to back out of the view I wanted or to enter a view I didn’t want to; honestly, a minor nit. My major issue that’s keeping me from using this seriously: lack of POI information — at least for my upcoming trip to Japan. If, like me, you’re coming from Wanderlog, this app feels anemic for POI data. Outside of really big/well-known landmarks and attractions, I felt like there was a 50/50 chance Tripsy would know what I was trying to add to my itinerary. If it doesn’t know what you’re trying to add, manually adding places kinda sucks big time since it was super out of the way (bottom of the list) with no way (or no clear way) to just quickly add an address and move on to the next POI. I’ll probably check out this app again for my next trip since it still looks promising, but at its current state, it’s got more nice-to-haves and glam than actual brawn and brains.

Notifications. I purchased the app so I could get notified of updates and still notifications are inconsistent to nonexistent. Will be canceling.

Doesn’t hit its mark. It’s just not a smooth ux and many basic features seem to be behind paywall. I was hoping this would be my trip case replacement, but it’s not

Challenges with logging trip. I initially likes this product buy increasingly having issues importing my flights and itinerary into the app. I don’t know what has changed. It is not as simple as it was.

Lots of potential. Managing flights and other events in order is a little confusing at first. The biggest problem is that our flight number appended to the Tripsy itinerary said the flight was delayed by 15 minutes when it was not

Great to plan your trip - terrible airline updates. Tripsy does a good job managing my travel, yes there is potential for improvements but in general it works. BUT where it terribly fails are the airline updates… delay notifications are 2-3h behind if even at all sent… defeats the purpose.

No actualiza los viajes. Uso varias aplicaciones y esta no actualiza los vuelos los marca como que vas a realizarlos pero no lo computa

Couldn’t add a cruise?. Tried a free trial since losing TripCase. This is no replacement sadly… couldn’t find to add cruise when adding to a big trip. Might be ok for just business travel, but not great for leisure. I’ll keep trying to find that replacement.

A Few Rough Edges. It is EXCEPTIONALLY difficult to get Tripsy to accept names of hotels in France as well as French attractions for which one has an address and a reservation is required. Tripsy seemed obsessed about my current location as I tried to plan a trip to France. It constantly tried to find things near me that were spelled vaguely like the names of French hotels, cities and castles, museums, etc.. This was so frustrating that I gave up, after many tens of hours, on using Tripsy! Occasionally, Tripsy would, instead, obsess about the immediate vicinity of an overnight stay location, in France, when my next stop, the next morning, would be an attraction a few hours away. Very frustrating. So far, Tripsy seems only useful for planning very local trips where all stops are nearby each other. In other words, a frustrating waste of time. Maybe I just don’t know how to use it.

Good idea, OK UX, but sadly repetitive and tedious.. Instead of manually adding activities, a superior user experience would be to add calendar syncs that reads in from gcal or ical.

Not good for frequent travelers. I was excited to see this app in an online review, since I’ve been using TripIt and Kayak for years without seeing either app add much functionality. However, just experimenting with Tripsy by entering my last trip identified several glaring errors that is causing me to delete my account and run screaming back to my tried and true travel planner apps. First, Tripsy is unable to understand overlapping lodgings. If you happen to take a day trip while still checked into your primary hotel, you can add it to the itinerary but only the first hotel shows up as active at the top of each day’s activities. Second, and this is the most critical, Tripsy does not have the ability to add flights correctly. Flight itineraries need information like flight number, airline, reservation/booking code, and seat number. This is all handled ok, but what about ticket number, customer service phone number? What about seat numbers for other passengers on the same reservation? You can add a “traveler”, but you have to send them an email invite. Got infants? Tripsy says no. The inability for this app to record basic flight info means it’s a no go. I’m not even going to waste my time with a car rental or hotel event. Here’s a question…with a Pro subscription, you can sync Tripsy with TripIt. But why would that be even needed if Tripsy actually delivered what it promises?
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Lacking Flight data. Doesn’t populate gate or terminal data, delays, or baggage claim. Even on premium. Thought it was as just a single flight. But it’s reoccurring.
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
Needs to compete. Tripsy needs the ability to do things like also autofill the day with plans. AI is an actual good use for travel planning and assistance. Also competitors offer 1yr for $40 vs $60 for tripsy which has far fewer features. I do commend and appreciate the responsive and native app vs competitors who seem to be using React Native or something similar.

Cross Platform Needed. Great application! I love the app overall! The worse part? I can’t use it because my family uses android and iPhones. I wish there was a way to have a web version at least if not an android version. Other than that I love the app and hope to someday use it to its full potential.
