   ZERO. this app doesn’t give enough user info for creating a trip- started out easy and then “add footprints”- added photos from 10 cities in 5 countries it showed title photo and current- nothing in between because it gave no info on “add footprints “

   There maybe many great things. The app seems fairly decent with lots of features and functionality. However, the one thing that is absolutely an abomination, is the ability to enter places you’ve already been. Oh my God, this would take a lifetime using the globe, zooming into the exact location and then hitting add, then go to the next one. If I didn’t want to add anything from the past, it would probably be just fine, but lost me at that function

   Facebook login worked on iPhone, but not iPad! What the heck!?. I tried to log into this with Facebook on iPhone and to worked, but not on iPad. WTH?! What did I do wrong? It just says it failed. Guess I’ll have to find an alternative. 😡👎🏻🤬

   Difficult to figure out. Tried to set up a trip for friends and family to follow. All that happened is that they set up accounts in the app, can’t see anything I’ve posted, and just get e-mails from find penguins trying to get them to use the app. I had high hopes, and am very disappointed

   Really crappy app. We have been on a trip this week and 3/16 people can see our posts. I know we did everything correctly but still they don’t get notifications. So… this seems to work as a chronicle of our trip FOR OURSELVES, even though we aren’t on Private. Forget it!! Very unsatisfactory

   Photos? How?. I don’t find this app intuitive at all. I just want to know how to add a photo (I use an iPhone) and can’t find out how ANYWHERE.

    dark mode awful. under dark mode. cannot see anything. If you don't plan on support it quickly, just add some key in info.plist to using light mode.

    Can't use it. This sounds like a great app. I don't know if it actually is because it crashed after I entered my first footprint and now it crashes as soon as it opens every time I try. Deleting and reinstalling didn't help. I guess I'm off to find a travel journal app that actually works.

    iPhone Burn. Uses to much memory and battery power. Heats up iPhones while processing Footprint. Figure out a way to create footprints and upload pictures and videos using less processing on cell phone.

    Not that easy for me to use.. It’s a great idea. I found it hard to navigate the options and got confused with my sharing privacy options. Nobody could see my posts & it was frustrating to me. I love the idea it was difficult.

    Subscription model a drag. I’ve tried many travel journaling apps, FP has a nice interface and is easy to use. Don’t mind paying for an app of this quality, but the subscription model for premium is a real drag. If I want to pay a monthly fee, I’d go with DO. There are other similar apps with one time fees. I’ll go with one of them. Too bad, this is a nice app and I like the logo.

    No photo book for USA. The app creates great photo books derived from the user's posts, but they are only available to European users.

    Easy to Use, But Blah Output. The app was pretty easy to use, but when it comes to sharing a video, there 2 big negatives: no control of music used and no slideshow of photos. The semi-flyover map showing where you went is pretty cool, but I really would have liked for it to zoom in on the footprints, and show off the photos I meticulously spent time choosing and uploading, and I would very much like to choose the music myself. One other technical point: when we upload the photos, it gives us a chance to use the photo and location from the photos, but if we discover that we unintentionally added a photo, and remove that photo, it doesn’t offer to adjust based on the remaining photos. So, you end up with a footprint out of chronological order, and in the wrong location. The only way to fix it is to manually adjust the footprint timestamp.

    I really like this app, but it has its downfalls. Sometimes when you have a post that has uploaded, and for some reason, it is still sitting in the drafts if you delete the draft post will disappear. It is super Duper frustrating!

    It failed !. Maybe I didn’t do something right but I sent the given link to family and friends to follow me during the trip. They all reported that they weren’t able to connect. However, I did like from my side of things, the ease to load up pictures and report on the trip. Please enlighten me on what went wrong 😑.

    Not exactly intuitive.. Footprints should ALWAYS be presented in chronological order unless the user prefers otherwise.

    Really wish this was a better app when used on a Mac. A fan and user of FindPenguins on my phone and ipad, I really hope for a native Mac version which will be stable and less buggy. Trying to use this version on a Mac is fraught with incompatiabilities. My two main complaints: 1. As soon as you try to reorder photos, the app partially crashes with a thumbnail on the screen of the photo you tried to move until you force-quit the app. 2. The spelling and grammer check constantly rewrites perfectly correct and normal words, or cuts you off in the middle of typing. Its horrid. If you try to turn off Spelling and Grammer correction in the menu, for some inexplicable reason it will return within just a few minutes on its on, and will continue screwing with your text. The app is so annoying that using the browser version is often better, but also fails in that it can't read from the photo library. Overall a dissapointing offering and much less usable than the mobile versions.

    Long time user. I have used this app for 5 years. I first used the free app but upgraded so I could add more photos to an entry. The things I love about the app - I can look back on trips and remember where we stayed or an activity we did. I like that I can share my travels with only those who I want to see them. I like that I can make a travel book easily after a trip. Things I didn’t like I find it can be glitchy. It has closed the app on me when I load photos. Something it just goes black when I am typing. Usually it saves what I’ve been working on by not always. I’ll give it 5 stars when the app doesn’t have the glitches.
