Former user... I’ve had this app for years, don’t remember if I paid something for it or not, but now it’s got a bag screen to upgrade. It worked fine before and I don’t feel I need to pay monthly or annually for something that had no subscription cost before. Deleted and looking for a better alternative

Just Deleted. I had been using Walkmeter for years but just deleted it. Today ads started popping up of pornographic objectifications of parts of women’s bodies. Your app is disgusting.

APP QUITS or MALFUNCTIONS - NO SUPPORT.. Leaving a 1 star review bc the developers really aren’t serious about customer queries. THE SUPPORT EMAIL ADDRESS IS A RUSE - not a valid address. Also, instructions are not complete. Last, why wouldn’t there be notifications for updates? A shame bc when it works it’s great. When it doesn’t a mess- example: even on a familiar oft-traveled 1.5 hr walk route, stats read .21 miles (map quits) @37mph. WTH.

Scam ads beware!. The app shows scam ads saying the iPhone is infected with a virus and a countdown clock to hurry up and respond. This is a repeated problem with this app. In the past another ad said something about corrupted memory or memory all used up.

Ad overload. Full screen ad when you open with tiny “continue” banner, ads when you run app, frequent upgrade prompts, all adding up to an unpleasant user experience. Better and less obnoxious options out there.

Awful Since “Updates”. Pop up ads to do anything now, which I suppose I can live with, but when the ads have a fake start button that looks just like the one used on the app, so they are baiting people into clicking an ad that they do not want to click, that is a problem. It is shady. Plenty of other apps out there I am deleting this one and getting a different one.

Forced ads. App was great until Oct, 2035 when ads were forced and access to app denied until personal info given and/or additional features accepted. Closed app before I could determine add’l cost, if any. Immediately cancelled subscription, which unfortunately auto renewed last month.

Free version doesn't track biking?. I would like to use this app to track bike rides while using my iPad but cannot find the cycling tracker. It only offers hike and walk tracking.

Aggressive ads popping up all over. Be prepared to be assaulted with ads that you have to click around, hitting a very small spot to close, then still watching the ad pop open your browser. All while your trying to get in a relaxed mode and get started on your walk.

Paid app has ADVERTISING that interferes with its use. Want to track your walk? Can’t do it with this app because you get an advert popping up making you wait before you can walk. So disappointing Brain dead executives looking for a quick buck ruined an otherwise great product.

Issues with App. Just finished walking. Just had hips replaced over 6 months ago. The app told me I managed 2.4 miles. I was really proud of myself. Then I found out I had actually only walked 1.2 miles. Very disappointing, will be deleting this app.

Too many adds. I use to really love this app until the adds could not be swiped off I would forever try to figure out how to go back to the main page trying to get the add off ! They were so difficult to get rid off finally I deleted the app good riddence !

Lost all confidence. The company behind this app is choosing to let politics interfere with making an otherwise good app. There are good choices from other companies that will ultimately will prevail because they properly focus their attention. Sorry to see this.

App no longer records any stats. Use to be a good app, but is no longer keeping track of mileage or any they stats, jus records time, but that’s worthless because every phone has a stopwatch… please fix this issue

Worst ad misuse I’ve ever seen. The most intrusive and obnoxious ad system I’ve ever seen in an app. UI is purposely convoluted in order to display more ads. Requires too many click throughs to achieve simple functions. I can’t express enough how much I hate this app.

What happened?. Something changed in the latest versions and the app is now extremely inaccurate in time, distance and track.

Stopped working. I’ve used this app for over a decade but now it doesn’t work. I’ve deleted and reloaded it and made sure ios and app are updated. It’s just completely off. What is 3 miles is now logged as almost 6. Maybe I’ve started running a don’t realize.
