Awful Update. This update is horrendous. All of my saved menstrual cycle information is wrong. When I try and edit it to correct I’m never able to. I hit SAVE and it just spins forever and never updates my information. Absolutely HATE this update! Deleting from my phone. If I could give it ZERO stars I would!

Frustrated. I’m very frustrated with this app! It worked great for a few months, but now won’t sync my Fitbit to the app! It tells me an error has occurred, but won’t tell me what it is or how to fix it! I never had this problem with the Fitbit app! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bring back full historical charts. Used to be able to see all your weight data in one chart now it gives you only 1 year max at a time. At least allow this to be customized with a moving average so you can see historical trend in one chart like the Fitbit app did. This is an easy fix. Do it please!

Bring back old Fitbit app. Bring back the old Fitbit app. Just want something super simple that syncs with my Fitbit. I don’t need all the extra stuff Google wants to force. Simpler is better. Why not just have both available?

Frustrating. This is the most frustrating app I’ve ever had. AI does not answer the questions/ concerns. There is no live human option. So far impossible to solve the problem which is the coach has disappeared. Keeps sending me to Fitbit who says it is a Google problem
- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
Terrible. This new Fitbit tracking app sucks, it looks like it was made for 10 yr olds and it is giving incorrect data for sleep and steps. I tried re-syncing and resetting, nothing worked.

I want the hourly step count. Why did you get rid of the hourly 250 step completion?

Worst ever. Derrico

Goodbye Fitbit. My clock has the wrong time and can’t fix it without syncing. I am not getting a Google/gmail account just for this. Do not trust Google having even more data than they are already have. I guess the watch is going in the drawer until I can delete all the info.
- ★★★★★data, history or progress disappears
Data regularly disappears. Once again, this garbage app just lost all my data. I opened the app it started to sync. I wanted to see what my sleep tracking was and there’s no graph. There’s no nothing just you slept for this amount of time. It was on there and then it just disappeared. Truly a worthless app.

Awful. Hard to find anything or see stats from previous days. This update is not user friendly and is completely unnecessary
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Nothing is working. It says i have premium but after pairing my fitbit air i still only have 2 tabs available at at the bottom, sleep and fitness are missing. On top of that coach isnt there either.
- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
Crazy tracking. This new app gives totally wrong results. I did a big hike yesterday and a short one today ( with no Fitbit) and the tracker recorded only 12,000 steps yesterday and somehow 34,000 steps today while the Health app only recorded 19,000 steps! Is this “AI”? A few weeks later, this app is still vastly inaccurate. I’m on a hiking trip with my group and when everybody’s trackers show 25000 steps, this app shows 15000!!! My Apple health app agrees with the other trackers! And in the weekly summary it doesn’t even show the steps for the last two days. 👎👎👎

Latest version iPhone app still not showing steps. For at least 2 weeks the app has been syncing and shows battery life but no steps. The Fitbit One device shows steps

horrible app. this app is impossible to navigate. there’s way too much junk. and it’s incredibly difficult to find your data. i miss the old fitbit app. it was way cleaner and more user friendly. will probably switch to an apple watch after this.

not the app that i used to know. I imagine the product discussion was like this, let’s add the magic of AI to a product that’s already working so it now costs more to make the same product but it’s less than the original product because instead of concise displays focused on your body metrics that you care about you have to look at screens of bullcrud text mansplaining your numbers to you. Nap sleep isn’t included in main sleep numbers any more so now the product no longer delivers the main purpose i use it for. making sure i manage my sleep hours each day in managing my chronic illness. this sucks

Why did Google need take this app!. I don’t need to repeat the things other people said but I will say problems they did not speak of: like what really do you mean by readiness and does it need to be so glitchy and hard to manage? Why can’t it just be the Fitbit app again?

Does not track swim distance!. Since the update from the Fitbit app, I only get time tracking for my swim sessions, not distance nor heart rate. App and tracker are useless for swimmers. UPDATE: Apple Watch ordered! Goodbye Fitbit! This almost seems like intentional suicide on the part of Google. It is so, so bad.

Give us back Fitbit. I used Fitbit for over a 10 years and I miss the old app! It makes me sad to even look at my stats now. It’s glitchy and not intuitive. I’m going to switch to Apple because if I’m going to hate the app anyway, it might as well sync with my phone better.

Less Functional, More Tedious. I am not getting along well with the changes to this app since Google took it over. I’d begin using this app along with my Fitbit for calorie tracking as I had started to gain weight. I said a target weight and logged my calories each day. The app used to compare calories in versus calories out which was very helpful in maintaining a calorie deficit. I was successful in reaching my goal weight and continue to use the app to monitor my calorie intake. After the changes Google has made I have seen a major loss and functionality in inputting calories. I have no longer able to call upon a list of foods. I have recently eaten, for instance, when I have leftovers from a meal prepared the night before or something. If I make a home-cooked meal with several ingredients, I now have to log each ingredient one at a time every time I eat the same exact home-cooked meal or leftovers from that home-cooked meal. What used to take five minutes to input now takes at least 20. I have to set aside time each day just to do this task. The app is also no longer as effective at remembering foods that I have recently eaten or eat routinely, leading me to have to look up foods almost every single time. The last bone I have to pick is with the loss of direct comparison between calories in and calories out. Now Google imposes calorie targets which seem arbitrary and are way above the number of calories I burn each day. for instance, it will show 1100 cal eaten and tell me that I have something like 800 cal to go before I’ve reached my daily calorie intake goal. However, when I check calories burned, I find that I have only burned about 1300 cal. This means that if I attempt to meet googles target calories every day, I will be well over the number of calories. I burn each day and begin to gain weight. This feature does not lead to overall maintenance of health and fitness. It is not helpful for people trying to stay healthy and fit. Also, the direct comparison of calories eaten versus calories burned is now gone. You have to check two different modules within the app in order to get this information for comparison. I would seriously rethink how this app is arranged and how it functions going forward. It is not as useful as it used to be.

Awful just awful. Was forced to update, after the update, my Fitbit versa four went from lasting 7 to 8 days with a battery life to 1 to 2 HOURS with a battery life. I tried to reset it once I tried to reset it it would not come on it just had a red X. I tried to reach out to customer service they said that they could not find my account so I’m still waiting on someone to contact me. Thank you so much for ruining a really good thing. I’ve had a Fitbit for over the last 10 years often on.

Sucks. This substitute to the fitbit app sucks. The graph looks like kid’s video game. Interface is confusing. Where is the adult version (aka fitbit app)?
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
You all ruined the Fitbit app. Everything is impossible on this new app. Just logging food takes 10 mins to figure out where to log it then if I wanna edit another 10 mins tutorial to figure it out. I hope someone sues you cause you ruined Fitbit.

Worst app update. I’ve been using Fitbit for years with zero issue. Ever since it became Google health, it is totally worthless. All the sleep data is wrong, says I’m awake for 6 hours a night. It doesn’t detect exercise reliably, and the interface is terrible. They also removed sleep sensitivity, which is probably why it socks at detecting sleep. I’ve been through countless trouble shooting and it’s useless. Nothing they have suggested has helped fix all the issues
- ★★★★★apple Watch and Health sync loses or duplicates workouts
Frustrated. I’m obsessed with my tracker. Like legit crazy I check it all the time. I don’t hate Google health or the layout, I hate that it’s crashing. Fitbit was reliable. Omg I will buy an Apple Watch if it doesn’t get fixed, I’m crazy you have to understand,

Hate Google.. I have no idea how long I work out. Loved my original Fitbit app. This sucks.

Unsolicited AI Medical Advice Following Emergency Diagnosis. I’ve been a loyal Fitbit user for nearly 10 years, but this experience convinced me to cancel my Premium subscription. I reported that my sleep metrics were inaccurate because I had just been discharged from the emergency room with acute diverticulitis. I was not asking for medical advice—I was simply explaining why my sleep data was abnormal. Several hours later, the AI coach proactively generated personalized dietary recommendations, telling me to resume eating protein such as chicken or fish and referencing my historical nutrition goals. I had never asked for dietary or medical advice. Whether that advice ultimately aligns with someone’s physician’s recommendations (although it certainly did not) is beside the point. AI should not proactively generate personalized medical guidance based on incomplete context, especially following an emergency diagnosis. In that situation, the appropriate response would have been to acknowledge that acute illness can affect sleep and recovery and encourage users to follow their treating clinician’s instructions. When I challenged the recommendation, the AI acknowledged that its advice had been inappropriate. However, the fact that it generated unsolicited medical guidance in the first place is concerning. I have already reported this behavior through the app because I hope the AI’s handling of acute medical situations can be improved. Unfortunately, this experience also prompted me to cancel my Fitbit Premium subscription and begin shopping for a health tracker outside the Fitbit ecosystem. After nearly a decade as a Fitbit customer, that is not a decision I made lightly. I valued Fitbit products for nearly 10 years because they accurately tracked my health data. Increasingly, however, the platform feels like it has shifted from tracking my health to interpreting and directing it. There’s an important difference.
- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
AI lies constantly. The Google health AI “coach” hallucinates and provides more false information than any AI I’ve ever seen, and that’s saying something. It will literally make up nonsense about workouts you’ve just completed, when you can see the actual data right in front of you. I normally wouldn’t mind, but this is health advice. It’s kind of important. When you confront it, it just pours out more advice. It’s infuriating. They clearly rolled it out before it was ready.
- ★★★★★slow performance and long loading times
Bad update. Nothing works anymore. The app is slow and glitchy and the metrics that are recorded don’t make any sense. The screen just fell off my Fitbit so I guess this is my sign to buy an Apple Watch
