Could be better. You should be able to have the same access on the app as you do the computer. Once a sign in you do not see the same things.

THEFITNESSGURU24. Horrible took money from me just from signing in!!! 🤬🤬😤😤

Unable to Synch Payment with Account. I was stoked to find this app as the videos are downloadable and I live off grid so was super excited about the possibilities. Found a couple great videos among some not so great videos. After my trial was finished I bought the 17.99 a month edition but the app was unable to transition me into a paying customer and got stuck on a loop of trying to login to no avail! I reached out to support which told me I had to get a refund through App Store ? Also impossible mission. So I’m out $40 and was unable to access or download videos . Feel taken advantage of!

Don’t try to subscribe. It’s been over a week since I tried to subscribe for a year membership, Apple is happy to bill you for it, but the content doesn’t unlock. I reported the issue with the app developer and Apple but haven’t seen a refund or the content unlocked! I really loved the classes but this issue has really angered me! There isn’t support help for this either, not really Warning Don’t try to subscribe through Apple!

Not as functional as I expected. The app requires a subscription to use after the free trial period. I’ve already paid for and downloaded my classes but they don’t appear in the downloads section when I log into the app and, I presume, I’ll lose access to them once I’m out of the free trial program. One of the benefits of YogaDownload for me is being able to pay for a class once and use it whenever I want. But in order to use classes I’ve already purchased on the app, I’ll have to pay a monthly fee. Nope.

It stopped working. It keeps saying “ The SSL connection could not be established” whenever I open the app for weeks now.

Don’t see a reason to have an app. I don’t see the point/logic in having an app for yoga. I had one for core power, but that was strictly for checking class times. I would never take a class from my phone. I like using yoga download on my home tv, but don’t need an app to do that.

Not the best platform. I have been a subscriber to YogaDownload for several years now and LOVE it. The app, however, doesn’t fall into the love category. I use yogadownload across all platforms: smart tv, web and now the app, and find the app the least user friendly and most frustrating to use. For example, first time I tried to review a class and then decide to take it, it didn’t give me then option to play the video, just to download it. Yesterday I took a class using my TV, which doesn’t give me the option to put in my favorites, and today that I wanted to search for it on the app, I couldn’t find a way to do so. If there is a search option on the app, I couldn’t find it, if there is an option to rate a class (for my personal use like on the web), I couldn’t find it either. In other words, I was expecting the app to be easier to use and navigate, better and improved from the web, and only found it to be frustrating, not user friendly and something I am not going to be going back to. I hope other users find the new format useful/better. I did not.

app goes to sleep when screen mirroring. it’s a PITA when you’ve got good momentum going in a yoga class using this app, only to have the iPad go to sleep, disconnecting the screen mirroring. please fix this.

Good concept- but needs improvement. I love Yoga Download and have been a member for many years. The quality and variety of classes is phenomenal. However, the app is not user friendly. It is challenging to quickly locate classes and/or teacher. Apps can be useful for portable devices but screens are small. Unless you already know the class well, trying to figure out correct postures or view modifications is difficult from your phone. The website still provides the most user friendly platform, easy access and the most support.

Great Yoga, Weak App. I love the class variety and teachers! The App is glitchy, though- does not keep user signed in when requested, often throws errors and codes. And PLEASE enable downloads to run in the background! As soon as you open another app or sleep your phone, downloads auto-pause. Not realistic to keep the app front and center while downloading classes.

Beginner classes too long and no flexibility. Hi. I’m a beginner and bought the subscription to get the full service. I’m somewhat disappointed in what you offer in the app for my desires and needs. I want shorter classes that are easy to do when I want to do them. If I want 10 minutes of hatha yoga at beginner level it’s what I want or feel like. There are no classes like that. Beginner classes all are over an hour long. For me it’s simply too long and I want flexibility in when and where I do them. In another app I do the scheduling and time up front and can choose in the app if I want yin, restorative, gentle, hatha and the level. Plus I choose an amount of time that works for me. Your app simply does not provide a level of flexibility for a beginner class tailored to what I want and need. Secondly the app does not record the sessions in Apple health. I like looking at my day of walking, mindfulness in the app. It’s a central guideline of my day. Finally there is no real scheduling or mentoring in the app. I would like to chart my own course and decide to do shorter classes as I want at a beginner level that fit my needs. I’ve basically given up on the app and will just take the hit for the subscription and move to the down dog app. It does the basic beginner things I want. I can choose everything up front and it logs the workout. Since this is something I want and I cannot do regular classes I want the experience to mirror my expectations. I want flexibility in the type, length and suggestions made after each class. I think the app has a long way to go for beginners like me.

App does not have all the features of website. I appreciate the value of this app, which for me is to access videos without the glitchiness of playing them on the website. Unfortunately, the app does not have all the features that are available on the website. One glaring example of this is there is no search function, that I can find, on the app. So if I’m looking for something specific I have to go to the website and look it up, add it to my wish list, then go back to the app and pull it up from my wish list. My enjoyment of the app is limited until they make it fully functional.

Good but hard to navigate.. I like the app. It makes accessing the classes much quicker than the website. Only compliant I have is that I can’t find the classes I’ve previously bought using the website through the app. I still have access on the website just not the app.

Great content, app usability could be improved. So glad yogadownload finally has an app! I’m been a user and a fan of their content for a long time. However, the features and usability are a bit limited. For example: there is a section with “challenges,” but it takes a lot of clicks to get there (every time)...and there is no tracking or reinforcement of whether you actually complete it on a daily basis. Would recommend checking out the meditation app 10% Happier for an example of where this is done really well.

Nice supplement to subscription. I haven’t had much time to use this app but I do think it is nice to have the ability to use in conjunction with my subscription.

It’s a tad better than navigating through my browser. But I was hoping for more and easier features, better class suggestions, stuff like that. I found a particular instructor’s class and I’d like to be able to see more from him, or more that length, or more that style... but if I want to get to any of those things I have to manually enter it in the filter. Not the end of the world.

So many choices. I love how you can easily dial in to get selections based on your needs. The length, focus, intensity narrows down the offerings. Makes it so easy.

Wonderful for all levels of Yoga!. I've had this app for two years now and have shared it with a plethora of people. Love it for taking small yoga breaks at work, after a hard day at work, and simply to make me feel great! Thank you for this......

User for many years. I have used some variety of YogaDownload for years, I love the instructors, classes and many packages that are available. The search feature is my only complaint, it isn’t the greatest but I feel like I ultimately can find what I’m looking for. Having an exact title makes the difference.

Very good Variety of classes, something for everyone. Had a great time trying all different kinds of exercise and yoga.

Love it!. I have had the Yoga Download app for a number of years, and it has been my go to app for making myself do yoga again during the stay at home order. A few things are clunky - I wish it would add to calendar better, and I don’t like the videos on a mobile phone, so I wish more programs were available for audio only. Otherwise, I would give it a five star rating.

Love Yoga Download. I love yoga download. The app is good. It would be even better if the website and app worked better together though. When Yoga Download does challenges, these cannot be accessed easily through the app so I have to do them online instead. Minor issue but if that was different, the app would be even better.

Nice. Great app , would like to see other exercise options other than yoga as sometimes variety is nice

great content!!!. here for mark morford to be honest the app could use a general search from the homepage namaste. ~~ :-)

Pretty good content, poor app. The app feels cheap, crashes on certain filtering. Poor user experience

Prefer over the website. I actually like the app a lot better than the website. It is a lot easier to filter classes and get where you want to go. It seems like the website gets really slow during the times I use it, I haven’t found this to be an issue with the app. It is also a lot more reliable to download things in the app than it is off the website on the devices I use. I’m so glad they finally have an app!

Amazing selection of all types of practices. The app gives you access to so much content. Filterable for whatever your heart desires at the time. I use it on iOS and Roku regularly.

Love YDL. I’ve been a member of YDL since 2016 and love the addition of the app. Great variety of classes, styles, and instructors. The only thing I think the app is missing is a scheduling/calendar function. It would be so wonderful for me to pick out my classes for the week and be able to cue them up quickly to save time.
- ★★★★★wide class and instructor variety
Great content but app can be glitchy. I like the variety of content and a lot of the instructors. The app sometimes is glitchy and will close the app if I don’t click perfectly on a class. The search feature is good enough, but there is room for improvement.
