just what you need and more for a podcast app - everything organized cleanly, accessible and works perfectly. Even better: open source, with NO ads.

the only open source app i have stuck with. love the minimal design, thoughtful user experience, and a great community. i have donated to them before, and will continue to do so because we need more thoughtful human made apps in this era of slop and vibe coding.

once you get it setup it works really well. super nice to have both the queue and the subscriptions tab. allows having one place all my always listen pods go and another to scroll through when want something else

Once I got the hang of the Inbox and Queue this became a really nice app to use. Works well on Android Auto too.

So far, so good! This is my default go-to app for listening to podcasts mainly because it's very easy to use. I particularly like how simple it is to organize each episode into the listening queue and sort everything the way I like.

No good for streaming. The stream regularly jumps back to sections it has already played. Then as it's played some parts twice it will end early. I just listened to a podcast where the final two minutes were missing.

I like this app but, as other users have already noted many many times, it has a problem with skips, repeats and then cropping time at the end so you miss the end of the podcast. this has been a problem for a long time.

I love the inteface and app. But sadly there are a lot of rather random skips. Sometimes, even multiple times per episode it just skips back a bit. But this cannot be fixed by adjusting the position manually. Often leading to missing pieces of the episode

I love that it's open source, however constant issues using Android Auto have me looking at other options. constant over runs, podcast is over, but it's still playing. change audio source in AA, AP doesn't release it to AA.

it works pretty well, EXCEPT in Android Auto. It won't advance to the next track automatically, and it's rather dangerous to try manually, plus usually doesn't work. Fix the Auto version and I'll rate it a 5.

The recent update has completely bricked this app. Casting doesn't work, it takes forever to start playing, if it ever does

Absolutely insane battery usage lately, I'd hate to switch apps again but 50 minutes of background usage consumed THREE TIMES as much battery as 40 minutes of SCREEN ON TIME in another app. Edit: it's a live bug in their GitHub since December with no dev response.

2 years ago I gave this five stars. I gotta retract that because ads have suddenly become a thing that pops up every 6 minutes.

horribly buggy but functional. fails downloads for no reason and right now I cannot pause or stop the playing episode unless I use the notification panel. use it because of the lack of ads and foss principle.
