I think it's neat to listen to stations from other states. Ads aren't terrible.

there's honestly been 45 minutes of ads in the last hour. it'll even cut off my local station's ads to get theirs in.
Listening to iHeart sucks. Although it's convenient, you get double the ads—ads from iHeart and ads from your radio station.
would be great if it didn't do ads right in the middle of a song. I get ads. I understand it. I don't understand why they have to cut into a song. it ruins the music

После обновлений приложение начало запускаться само собой — при подключении зарядки, ночью или просто через несколько минут после закрытия, будя пользователей и захватывая управление Bluetooth.
keeps randomly launching its self after last update. plug in my phone to charge and it's playing randomly.
Awful. Launches itself at random times. If I want to sleep at night, I must uninstall it.
keeps starting on it's own, sometimes in the middle of the night walking me up.

После завершения подкаста приложение переходит к более старому эпизоду вместо следующего непрослушанного, а порядок воспроизведения жёстко задан от нового к старому — без возможности настройки.
May 2026 Podcasts don't auto play properly anymore. After finishing a podcast, it will roll right into an older podcast, not the newest unlistened to. And even if I mark one or all as listened to, it will auto play those marked as listened to after finishing another.
lately when my podcast finishes it goes to the next episode even though I checked it as watched rather than the next un-listened episode.
Doesn't delete podcasts after finishing, replays already listened to podcasts, starts up randomly after closing app.

Terrible as a phone app, wonderful as desktop. Was listening to the USvParaguay game yesterday on the FIFA WC channel and the phone app glitched so many times. Each time it glitched, the app prompted an ad for 30 sec.
2025 and iHeart app loses functionality with VPN connections. really? VPN is here to stay but this app will probably fade away if their devs don't fix their application. edit: 2026 app still doesn't function with VPN.
