This has been a helpful app. I've been using it for years now, not consistently but whenever I'm in need of journaling my feelings.

I am now missing 5 years of online journal entries. I've reached out to Customer Service online chat, and it is terrible. Don't use this journal. There is ZERO customer support. I am looking at 4 days without a reply in their online chat.

After 8+ years of using this, switching to a different journal app because the cloud sync feature suddenly stopped working and their support has been truly terrible.

Moved to Upnote - great alternative! I purchased the full Journey app 8 or 9 years ago and it was supposed to include everything for life. However, every couple of years they seem to hose the database they use for storing member information

something has changed in Journey. I opened it on both of my devices and i am now told that i need an annual subscription, where i had bought perpetual use of the application. I have also lost access to my journaling from the last 9 years.

Can't transfer lifetime subscription to new phone. No help, just AI promising human help that hasn't came in two weeks.

Aesthetic UI and good insights but making users pay just to write texts in bold and italics is crazy work.

this app used to be better before they started charging for basic features like using ITALICS. ITALICS. Used to be able to add hashtags and photos to journal entries.

It's essentially a lite version of every other "note app" out there if you don't pay for the premium version. Nearly everything that lets you edit your text is locked behind a paywall. I can't even underline a single word or make something bolder for free

great when it works, but it is very frustrating that this keeps happeneing: i write an entry, go to take a photo, and when the photo finally loads everything I've written disappears
