I love listening to these older books, especially before bedtime. I use this app every single day. I'm a big Ray Bradbury fan and I get to listen to all his classics on here.
there are mostly older books like Dracula and Conan, the barbarian, and Frankenstein, but it's free, and I love listening to audio books while cooking or even showering.
Free and fun to listen to classic stories. I like some readers better than others and it's nice to find a reader you really like.

excellent narration and extremely cheap lifetime price
Most readers are good, but every once in a while, they can be pretty bad. In that case, I pick a different book.
I love that I can get through so many classics, and the narrators are very good. It's also so affordable to go ad free.

I've noticed chapters getting duplicated with huge gaps of silence then the same chapter repeated making trying to follow along difficult.
each chapter seems to have a time clock far beyond the actual time it takes to read the chapter?! so the chapter takes 20 minutes but then there is another 2 hours of silence before it moves on to the next chapter
Decent, but having chapter skip buttons on the Playing notification is not great. If you accidentally press them (expecting a more useful seek button), you'll lose your place in the book

This app company called "Bookdesign" is posing as the REAL Librivox & using volunteers work to charge for ads against Librivox's rules and does not give anything to the actual volunteers.
Ads are ridiculous especially as this is not even an official Libravox App and has nothing to do with Libravox so you're grifting off a non profit platform to make profit
While the app works well enough, I'm thoroughly fed up with apps that keep data about the user. There is absolutely no reason to do this so we can access public domain books.
